The house was in a great location to access downtown Boyne City and head in the Charlevoix/East Jordan area. It’s definitely a simple house, but had all the amenities that were needed (towels, dishes, TP, etc). We felt safe staying at the house and it was clean. Having access to a washer/dryer was so beneficial since I was traveling with my infant. A few downsides- because the house is older and near the water, it has a bit of a musty smell, but to be expected. There are two window air units that did the job, however it was not too hot out when we stayed. Lastly, the rug in the kitchen could be considered a tripping hazard and would benefit from being tacked down. The communication with the owners was great! They were very responsive to my questions after I booked and very helpful when we had a little trouble with the keypad when entering the house. I would also like to recognize their hospitality when they ordered a pack n’ play for my daughter so I didn’t need to bring one from home. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking to travel to Boyne City.

The house was very clean and perfect for a group of people who are looking to have a great weekend. Very close to the water and downtown! Super easy check in and check out. Neighbors were extremely friendly!

Loved the location, great for the Boyne Thunder event. Everything was awesome…. Only thing I would say needs to change is the fact that the one portable ac unit couldn’t keep up with cooling the entire house. Need to have one more unit so both bedrooms can be cool for sleeping. Otherwise we were super happy and would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thanks so much!!

This property has a great location (two blocks from the Beach and three blocks from the downtown shops), was very clean and well equipped. It was nice to have the front entrance area, enclosed, to put all our beach stuff, bikes ect. Good layout for a vacationing family. It was great that is was pet friendly. Our dog loved it. ** I would say the backyard was not well maintained, lots of weeds. The grass/weeds needed to be cut and trimmed. Would have appreciated if this area was better maintained so we could have enjoyed the outdoor space.

Loved the location of the house. Only a few blocks away from downtownin a quiet neighborhood. The house was neat and clean. It was nice not having to take bedding and towels. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks you for a great stay.

Owner was upfront on everthing on the house, was perfect for short travel to go skiing, lose to town and was great because with fenced in back yard our dogs enjoyed it also. Thanks again for the use of your home.

This is the perfect location! It was an easy 5 minute walk to downtown and 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain.

Our week was very hot and single window AC unit not sufficient for this home. The backyard and firepit are featured - but backyard not mowed and unkept and same with bushes front and back. Would recommend ceiling fans (or regular fans) to circulate the air. Place was Ok, but, price is reasonable.

Simple older home. Nothing fancy, but a nice place to sleep and make a simple meal. Having 2 bathrooms and laundry was a bonus. Being able to bring my dog was also a must. Everything was clean.

We were in town for a wedding over the holiday weekend. We didn't spend much time at the house aside from sleeping/getting ready. I think this place does the job for having a place to sleep/shower, however, it isn't very cozy and wouldn't be somewhere I would want to have a relaxing staycation. The house itself seems a big rundown. There are some mysterious stains on the carpet which were unnerving. We were a bit disappointed as the pictures make the house seem a lot cozier/well kept.

House has a weird furnace and some quirks, but figured them out. Rooms got cold uless furnace was on high. Be ready for a house needing updates, not the Marriott. Icy driveway, but so was the entire downtown. Overall, almost exactly what was expected. I wouldn’t bring my family but was a perfect house to drink and go out as it was close to downtown. Priced appropriately. Beds ok, bring your own pillows. We did not try to contact mgt, so cannot comment.

Everything about the property was as described. Perfect for skiing at Boyne. Boyne City is such a cute town with everything you need. House is walkable to stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Thanks for a great rental!

We stayed in December to use as our base for skiing at Boyne Mountain. We really liked being right in Boyne City. It is a wonderful walkable small town. We had to keep doors to bedrooms and bathrooms open to allow heat to enter from the centrally located heater. It was fine though. The kitchen was handy and we enjoyed preparing most of our meals. It is very sparingly equipped so we brought many of our own kitchen utensils, dishes, silverware, roasting pan and toaster from home. No dishwasher but that wasn’t a major deal. Overall we had a great time and would gladly stay again another time.

The house was super charming. The house was located in walking distance of downtown with shops and restaurants. Super close to the harborage also. They house was super clean and Mark was a wonderful host! We will definitely be back!
