We stayed in the heart of Weaverville to be close to friends, take great walks through the parks and downtown, have access to restaurants and grocery stores. It was perfect! Loved sitting outside the cottage, gardens were beautiful, everything was very clean and well put together.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is an easy walk to a good selection of shops and restaurants. And the cottage itself was absolutely wonderful. It was well-appointed, clean, and very, very comfortable. And your host is top-notch!

This magical cottage far exceeded the photos and description. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, the house was beautifully appointed, spotless, and had every amenity. The outdoor spaces were also really lovely. Billie was a very responsive host. The quaint downtown of Weaverville was within easy walking distance, and grocery stores, etc., just a short drive away. Downtown Asheville was an easy drive. I will definitely be back!

This was our second trip to the cottage, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We didnāt do any cooking this time, just hung out, walked back and forth to coffee and food, visited kids in Madison County. Perfect home base for us.

This home was great. Very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels and blankets. The outdoor spaces (porch, deck, backyard) were absolutely delightful! My young son enjoyed āborrowingā the house from Billie š
We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Traveling with my daughter. We both really liked this little cottage, clean with a nice deck and back yard. Only about a half mile from walking in to Weaverville, which has some really nice restaurants and cute stores. The town was very clean and safe to walk around. I would choose to stay here again if I return to the area. Host had great communication as well.

We loved this little cottage with all its quirks. It is an older house, nicely remodeled. The kitchen is very functional, thereās an electric kettle, which is great for drip coffee and tea (thereās also a coffee maker if thatās more your thing).
The back deck and back yard are such a lovely retreat, and we enjoyed using the grill.
The location is so convenientāeasy to walk for coffee or lunch, or to browse Weavervilleās galleries, or for a quick drive to the grocery store. Itās the perfect home base for us when we come up to visit our kidsāweāve already booked our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay visiting my daughter in Weaverville. Cozy Cottage was our home base, an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Easy for other family members to gather after day trips to Asheville and Leicester. Cottage was spotless and had everything we needed (and more). As my mom said the cottage is even nicer than the pictures!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. The cottage was clean, bright and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the back yard and being able to walk to downtown Weaverville to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. We would definitely like to return to the area since we were limited with time due to being in the area for our daughter's wedding.

We were in town for the Asheville Half Marathon- my husband, toddler (2), and myself. The location is absolutely perfect; we could walk to coffee, restaurants, a little nature trail, and itās half a mile drive to a really nice playground. These are the things that make toddler parents really happy! The house is adorable, super clean, and super functional. I loved the gate on the back porch, I was able to actually relax a little bit and not be on toddler watch constantly. We didnāt get to explore the shops too much but loved the atmosphere of Weaverville. Dinner at Stony Knob Cafe was amazing, yellow mug was great, and Twisted Laurel didnāt disappoint either! Definitely recommend this property, thank you Billie!

Billie's Cottage was by far the BEST VRBO we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It's the perfect size for 4 guests - we were two staying overnight with our daughter visiting during the day.
The Cottage is immaculately clean, with comfortable mattresses, plenty of blankets for the "Cyclone Bomb" that moved through the area, an easy to use heating system which kept us warm, abundant hot water and during the sunny days, the sunshine streaming through the south facing windows created a cozy indoor setting despite the below freezing temps outside.
The cottage had the homiest atmosphere - due to the thoughtful touches Billie has provided - with comfortable living room furniture, throw rugs, lamps, stainless cookware, a terrifically quiet dishwasher, and a front load washer/dryer and drying rack. We felt much at home and enjoyed our time "hanging out" with our daughter in the inviting and comfortable space.
The cold weather prevented our spending much time on the back deck or front porch, but we were nevertheless, impressed with the privacy and furnishings both had along with the dormant gardens of perennials, vining plants and shrubs she has loving created around the yard. I can only imagine how lovely the gardens are in full bloom.
The location of the cottage encouraged us to walk all over Weaverville - to the nearby restaurants, shops, grocery stores, pharmacy and the adorable downtown park. We always looked forward to returning to our Weaverville "home away from home".
An added treat was the email interaction with Billie and learning some of the history of the cottage and of Weaverville itself. The Library has a museum in the basement which highlights the history of this "Dry Ridge" - definitely worth a visit.
Billie also checked with us during the coldest of the "cyclone bomb" weather to make sure all was well with us and the cottage.
Many thanks, Billie, for providing this incredible space for our small family holiday gathering. Your "just the right
amount " of holiday decorating, set the tone for our family time, creating the setting for enjoying our brief two weeks together and making memories we all will cherish.

Our Favorite Part of a Great Trip
My wife and I spent two weeks in Virginia, one week in Charleston/South Carolina and the last week in North Carolina, with five days at Billie's VRBO in Weaverville. We had a wonderful time on the entire trip but we couldn't have chosen a better place to finish our trip. Billie's cottage was the perfect place to end our trip. Billie has thought of everything - the cottage is immaculate with everything you need, and she is a great communicator. She is also a reader - and has left several dozen books and National Geographics that were great fun to look through. Billie and I both enjoy some of the same authors and she had some books that I had not yet read, but added to my list.
During the pandemic my wife became a birdwatcher and Billie's cottage has beautiful front and back yards where we were both spent enjoyable time reading and watching/listening to the birds. One of our favorite evenings was spent in the backyard watching the fireflies. I wish we had those where we lived.
We so enjoyed Billie's cottage that we altered our plans when we got to Weaverville. We still went horseback riding (thanks for the suggestion, Billie!) and toured the Biltmore house. But instead of heading into Asheville every day, we spent some very restful time exploring Weaverville and resting in the cottage. We also enjoyed our visit to Burnsville for the Saturday farmers' market.
I can't recommend Billie's cottage highly enough. It was a highlight of a wonderful trip and one of the most restful five days we've had in a long time. Thank you Billie for your hospitality. We intend to be back.

Loved our stay here.
We loved our stay at The Cottage. It was clean and very comfortable. We loved all the flowers and the birds out back....especially the pair of bluebirds! It was great to be able to walk into town for lunch/dinner and I walked the one miles to the supermarket when I needed only one or two items. Wilma (Billie) kept in contact with us and even gave us some suggestions of things to see/do. I highly recommend this rental.

Weaverville Area and Biltmore Trip
This home was perfect as a home base while exploring the beautiful Weaverville/Asheville area. The host was easy to contact and provided quick responses. Although we ate at a variety of local restaurants, the kitchen was well stocked with all things needed to cook, make coffee, or even to grill on the back porch. We enjoyed beverages on the front porch in the evening while admiring the colorful garden. We even fed the squirrels. The property was clean and comfortable. The host provided nice bed linens and soap. The beds were comfortable as well. We highly recommend this home for adults or families. We hope to visit again and rent the same home.
