The cabin is not new to short term rentals and was run by another group out of Helen for years. We recently purchased it and decided we wanted to list it ourselves with VRBO that is why there are no reviews yet.

This was the perfect location to enjoy pre-Christmas get together in Helen, Georgia. There was enough room for our adult children and us to spread out. There were plenty of activities to keep us busy at the house when we weren’t exploring the area.

The location is superb. The property is beautiful and neighbors are not on top of you. The property is very clean and very well taken care of. Communication with the Host is quick and easy. Being Christmas, we cooked Christmas dinner at the cabin. I have never seen a rental kitchen so well stocked in my life! You name it, she had it! Also, Tons of card games, board games, jenga, billiards, and other activities for small or grown kids. Beds are comfy, furniture is nice, rocking chairs on deck are also a nice touch. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to spend time with their family.

My family loves Oktoberfest! This cabin was a great location near all of the festivities! Beautiful and comfortable home! Owner was very quick to respond to questions.

Unfortunately the property was not clean, dwad bugs everywhere, dust was horrible(i sneezed the entire weekend), bed sheets had to be washed (by me) before we could go to bed as previous patrons hairs and debris were highly visible. The beds appeared slept in before we touched them. The bulbs were out in several light fixtures... which is terrible when it's outside. The lawn was not tended to, so we couldn't get to the fire pit due to the knee high weeds .. and it's a clearing in the woods, so I wasn't going in the brush where I couldn't see... and the worst, there's some infestation with bees and wasps. They are bedding in the walls and coming in vents. Even my 3 year old was stung, and we stepped on wasps and got stung.. so we had to rush to the store to treat. I was very uncomfortable at that point so we left.

My family meet in Helen,GA for the New Year holiday. We celebrated a late Christmas and spent family time together. Cabin was big enough for 6 adults. Kitchen is stocked great with cook ware and utensils. We loved the cabin. Short drive to downtown Helen.

The owners went above and beyond making this trip special for my son and soon to be daughter in law with a special basket for their engagement! The cabin is absolutely beautiful!

This is a great cabin with a few issues. Our room window wouldn’t lock and air flowed through the cracks making the room freezing cold. The pool room was also freezing cold. There were dead beetles in there. Besides that, it’s a great cabin in a great location. The owner was friendly and reachable. I would stay here again.

This cabin was rustic enough with tree trunk furniture for my grandkids and updated enough for my (everything works and always have hot water) daughter. It is roomy and ideal for 8 people. We plan to stay next year!

We had a great stay! Had everything we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was perfect! Quiet and close to town. But be careful on the stairs. If you're a little wet coming in from the hot tub they are slippery!

We travel to Helen often 2-3 times a year if not more! This cabin is by far at the top of our list. Perfect for our family. We were traveling with my brother and sister in law and our child. The bdrms were perfect for 2 couples and then downstairs has 2 beds and huge TV, 2 bathrooms one a half bath, a pool table and bar area with hot tub on back porch. Perfect for children and adults LOVED THE CABIN and landlord was quick to reply

Perfect place and location
First and foremost the communication with the host was amazing! All information was available and questions answered when asked. She was so nice, the house is gorgeous, the back forest view, fire pit, porches…. All are amazing! Would definitely stay again! Right in the heart of Downtown, which is a huge reason why we also chose this place!!

Great home but the TV's
Loved everything with the house but we could not watched any of the TV's the whole time. We were all 50 to 60 years of age. We would like to at least be able to watch one TV for local, world or a weather channel. We tried to un plug from the back as directed and still no service. This will be a deal breaker to stay there again.😡
