A Perfect Stay in Kew Gardens

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jennifer's wonderful home in Kew Gardens, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home, thanks largely to Jennifer's warm welcome and her dedication to ensuring my stay was perfect. The property itself is simply stunning. Nestled in the heart of Kew Gardens, it offers a serene escape from the bustle of daily life. The home is immaculately maintained, beautifully furnished, and infused with an ambiance of comfort and sophistication that is hard to find. Jennifer, the owner and host, is truly exceptional. Her attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction elevates the experience to a level far beyond typical expectations. She went out of her way to cater to every need and was always available to provide recommendations or assistance.

Wonderful Apartment and a Charming Host.

Perfect for all those that would rather stay in a home instead of a hotel. Jennifer is an excellent host and a lovely person. The room is large and comfortable and gives the option for plenty of privacy but if you are interested she is very welcoming, full of fascinating stories and incredibly helpful. The location is pleasantly green and quiet for London and there are multiple Bus stations nearby. Public Transport to Heathrow airport is possible 24/7 and took about an hour. The room is very clean and equipped with everything your heart desires ranging from adapters, chargin ports and maps to kettle and cutlery. The bed is very comfortable and with closed windows and jalousie the room was dim and quiet. The Wifi is quick and reliable. The bathroom is clean, has a large shower and you are provided with towels. If I visit London again I will definetly try to book this place once more. Thank you Jennifer for the wonderful time.

Superb

This place had a great location within walking distance to Kew Gardens, and very close to "tube" and bus access. I loved staying in a home with my own room, and being located in a residential area. Jennifer was an attentive hostess and was a wonderful resource to guide me to lesser know sights and restaurants. Recommend!

Wonderfully comfy room in a perfect location (National Archives) with a brilliant host

The accommodation was perfect in every conceivable way. Nothing was missing. Jennifer, the host, was brilliant! She took very good care of everything and was always very helpful. She created a very pleasant atmosphere that made one feel at home. It is also a perfect place for anyone who wants to visit the National Archives. I would book again in a heartbeat.

I truly loved my stay at this beautiful home. The area has lots of interest points nearby and if you like to walk is a great area to explore on foot. With an excellent description it is easily reached by train, bus and car. I highly recommend this friendly home. Friendly to people and the environment.

A Great Place.

I spend a month renting the room. I highly recommend it. Jennifer is a great host and a wonderful person. The cleanings is top notch and the bed is really comfortable. Jennifer was kind enough to clean the room every Weeknd.

My Richmond/Kew fix for the year successfully achieved.

I enjoyed my stay in Kew very much, the weather was perfect. Although a little apprehensive of a home stay initially as I have never done this before, Jennife soon put me at ease. Well done Jennifer! A warm welcome in Kew

The warm welcome from Jennifer means you know you are going to have a great stay. The room is very comfortable. And the little extra touches like homemade cucumber and lemon water and a little grazing platter make this a special stay.

Inexperienced host

Clean, consistently warm shower, niceties such as a sandwich and a few other vittles in the room on arrival, and a couple of personalised welcome messages. The decoration in the apartment is very nice. It was interesting to share stories with this highly knowledgeable and worldly-experienced woman. There are phone chargers provided, and a kettle and small fridge in the room. Apparently you can use the toaster.

This is a homestay. A homestay, a homestay. I didn't realise this before coming (my bad). Host texted me asking me to take the recycling out to the depot on my way to work, texted me at work to ask me to take pictures of central London for her as it was sunny, called me to ask where the keys were when I left the morning of checkout, whilst I was in a work meeting (which I told her)&(they were in the room door which they work to unlock (interior room which only she had access to); the windows were left open all throughout the apartment all day and night, so it grew very cold at night (though the guest room was warm), I was instructed to put the toilet seat down when flushing, as if I were her child, because if I didn't 'tiny splashes of water would go everywhere and she would have to scrub and sanitise the whole bathroom', there were no shoes allowed in the house, the advertised kitchenette cannot be used for cooking as the host informed me she couldn't take the risk of cross contamination, as she runs a food business out of her apartment too (about which business she is very knowledgeable); the host rang me whilst I was in a meeting at work (which I told her) to not just ask after the keys which were in the bedroom door, but to complain at me for leaving food packaging and some rubbish in the room when I had to leave. I have never in all of my experience in staying in paid places around the world, been rang like this to complain about some stuff to be cleaned (it's not like I left trash out everywhere in a lackadaisical and crappy manner, there were some tins and cardboard packages on surfaces, and a bit of food in the fridge) - the room I pay for I expect to have cleaning done to it inclusive in the fee, like it is everywhere else. Also, the room had no bin. That would really help. The apartment does have a bin in the kitchen.

Stylish and welcoming home in the middle of an oasis of tranquility

Jennifer is a genial and welcoming host who went out of her way to make my visit as comfortable as possible. The room is very stylish with great facilities, and the location is a dream, only a short walk from the beautiful Kew Gardens and very well connected by public transport in the charming oasis of Kew village.

During the daytime there is a little ambient noise from aircraft but that is true all over this part of West London, not specific to the property. At night all was quiet and I slept very peacefully indeed.

Great host, top location, lovely relaxing spacious clean guest/wash room & exceptional value 4 money

Warm friendly host Jennifer, nothing was to much trouble, great knowledge of local area & beyond, a great find will deffo be visiting again when down in London. Location just a short walk from Kew underground station, 20mins & your in Central London. Lovely front facing spacious, clean & relaxing guest room. Great clean wash/shower facilities, underground map on wall came in handy aswell. Exceptional value would highly recommend. Checked in 3 hours later then had planned but Jennifer was so accommodating & it wasn't a problem. Fridge in guest room came in handy to keep drinks cool, all ready for the next day's adventures. Made a change not stopping in the usual self check-in hotels, so refreshing being able to talk to the host on arrival, nothings a rush & nobody else in checking queue behind u of course. Thank you Jennifer
