We adored our weekend stay here with the fam! Would definitely stay again in this cute lil abode (assuming they’ll get a new mattress for the sofa bed that will hold its air). Was clean, cozy, loved the screened in porch. Loved the bathroom too. Great spot!

We loved our stay here in the cozy fully appointed retreat. It’s a gem of a property and we will be back for sure. Our week here was so very special.

Cute, well appointed cabin in a convenient location. In a quiet neighborhood but only 5 minutes to the Ingles grocery. Asheville is nearby as is the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's a great "base camp" for the area. The cabin is small, just right for the 2 of us.

Such a cute little cabin in a great location to both Asheville and Black Mountain. Very cozy and fit the mountain vibe. Super easy to get around , we enjoyed the privacy of being a little off the beaten path. My only complaint is the king bed is very used and it felt like you were sinking in the middle. It was difficult to share with someone else. Otherwise my husband and I loved this place and all it had to offer!

Before my spouse & I reserved this cabin I read all the reviews & I did have some concerns! I messaged the rental company regarding these concerns & they responded quickly. Several reviews mentioned the issue with hot water. We had NO problems getting hot water. It only took seconds for the water to get hot. Another concern was the cleanliness of the cabin. Again, we had NO issues with the cleanliness.
Also, I believe I read in the amenities listed for the cabin “coin operated laundry”— that was not the case. The cabin was in a great location. About a 15 minute drive to Asheville. Minutes from a grocery store and the highway. We would recommend this cabin.

My wife and I enjoyed a few nights here as we attended a Bible conference. Things were clean and the area is beautiful. The shower was nice and roomy and the waterfall fixture made for an enjoyable relaxing time after long days. The bed could be upgraded to provide an even better experience.

This was the perfect little cabin for my husband, myself and our little dog. Everything was so clean and updated and the cabin was just the cutest! No complaints and we would love to stay better again in the future.

We drove to Swannanoa from the Twin Cities (MN) to visit our new grandson and help out with chores during our daughter/son-in-law’s transitions. We truly enjoyed this cabin as a retreat where we could rest, cook meals, and enjoy walks. The location was very convenient to an Ingle’s Supermarket and a great smokehouse. We took time to visit downtown Asheville, the Asheville Art Museum and the Folk Arts Center on wetter days. Great stay and hope to return.

The cottage was lovely - brilliant use of small spaces; nicely appointed; modern and very clean. General location in Swannanoa was great. Mountain views from cottage were lovely. Extremely convenient for weekend stay visiting family!

This tiny home is cute and the size met the needs of my family of four (our two kids are 5 and 2) as well as our 10 pound dog. The location was great as it was between downtown Asheville and Black Mountain. We liked the overall look and feel of the cabin, but let's talk about the issues we had and the lack of response from the rental company (we emailed, called, and texted numerous times). As far the issues...Toaster oven was disgusting. Doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a long time and had old dry cheese melted all over the tray. The central heat on day one never kicked on even when it was turned up to 74+ degrees. The only way to get the house warm was to use the fireplace. Our first night, before we used the fireplace, the house was a balmy 63 degrees throughout the night. Once the fireplace warmed up the house, the central heat kept the place warm. While the kitchen sink got extremely hot water, the bathroom sink never got hot. The shower, at best, was lukewarm. The response that I received from the rental company was automated and did not care for the problem. We had lukewarm showers the entire time. The rental company said that they would send someone local to respond, but no one ever did. We loved this place, but hate the rental company. We will never go through them again to book a rental. We would rather go through a site where we can have constant communication with the home owners rather than through a third party who does nothing to help rectify a negative situation.

The cabin is very cozy, but the space is utilized pretty well. Note that it is only 450 SF.
We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens provided, toilet paper, small soaps/shampoos. Internet was speedy, even with multiple people working from laptops and watching Netflix. Location is very good. Very quiet also. Patio and deck are nice additional space, weather dependent. We did not need anything after check-in but Rental agency was responsive when I had inquired about early check in
Kitchen had a Keurig and a few pods to go with. Plenty of dinnerware and utensils.
A few things to note:
Overall, Cabin was very clean - except for the floor, which was very dusty/dirty. And the blanket on the king bed had something on it (I washed it myself before using)
-SOFA BED: Linens were provided and the instruction manual was available as well (everything was together in the bedroom closet)- there are linens and 1 pillow provided for the blow up bed. We did not attempt to blow up the bed, rather someone used the linens on the couch.
- KING BED: bed is some-what comfortable, but the mattress is very sunken-in, rolling toward the center. The bed is very high off the ground, fine for us, but if you have mobility limitations. It is also extremely loud - squeaky and creaky, anytime you attempt to shift or roll over, you will wake up your partner.
-TRUNDLE BED: Note that the second bedroom is a twin size trundle bed, and when pulling out the second bed, it fills the whole room.
-DOG: yard is not fenced in (listing does NOT claim that it is but just FYI) FYI because the property behind has a large Dog, who appears to have on an electric collar, but it has full access into and across that road, and he "patrols it" - he did not come into the rental yard though - (Not sure if it is a private road? there are multiple houses on it and no signage indicating it is private). Dog did not appear aggressive, more curious, but just be aware, as he is stealthy and sneaked up behind us when we tried to go for a walk in that direction (we turned around and did not go that way again)
-SHOWER: As others have noted, the water is "warm" but certainly not Hot.
-BATHROOM - Sliding barn door, does have a large gap on either side. about 1 to 1 1/2" away from the wall

Loved this cute little cabin, just a little bigger than a tiny house. It is nearly smack dab in the middle of Asheville and Black Mountain towns… both beautiful and fun places to visit, hike, shop and eat! We’ll definitely be back!
One thing I will say is that some of the reviews said bear tend to stroll around the area and I’m sad we didn’t get to witness this lol!!

However, we think we left a clear plastic tub the porch. Can you look for it?
Thanks

Property was dirty with spider webs on all of the light fixtures, in the listing it says to use a remote to ignite the gas fireplace, but they had it turned off so you could not use it. The faucet in the kitchen sink was so wobbly we didn't use it for fear of it leaking. The shower has two shower heads one in the ceiling one on a wand but the device to divert water to one or the other doesn't work so you get a very very low flow out of both at the same time can't take a good shower. But the most troubling thing we found was the guest book, when we looked through the guest book it only had fantastic reviews from four previous guess, but then we looked closer and there were eight pages ripped out of the book so obviously if you don't leave a rave review they just rip your page out of the guest book. It's a shame too it's a nice place in a decent location but this fall solely on the host. I went back and looked at previous reviews and saw that people in the past have complained about the shower about the sink and other things but they just don't get addressed I think VRBO would be wise to part ways with this host until they get their act together.

The cabin was beautiful, decorated tastefully and had all we needed. A great stay and so comfortable!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property & found it to be clean & private, but there were a few issues that should be easily remedied for future guests.
1. We did not find any bed sheets for the pullout couch bed and there were no instructions found to direct its setup. After searching, we were able to find the pump for the built in air mattress in a closet in another room, but my sons had to use various blankets in lieu of a mattress cover, sheets, & comforter.
2. The shower did not work well. The hottest water is diverted at all times to the handheld sprayer & cannot be turned off with the diverter knob while the overhead shower head water is only moderately warm. The diverter appears broken since the handheld could not be turned off. There’s also no enclosure to the shower so water splashes out easily & it is difficult to stay warm in the cool interior air without remaining directly under the hot water of the handheld sprayer.
3. YouTube TV is not provided as stated. The TV is equipped with the YouTube app but it is not signed into YouTube TV service.
