This is a great place to stay with family or friends! We loved and it was in a great location for us!

My friends and I were pleasantly surprised by this spacious, yet cozy bungalow. We were expecting it to be small just judging by the pictures, but the living room, dining area, and bedrooms were large and perfect for the 5 of us. The kitchen was cozy and cute, stocked with a microwave, coffee maker, kitchen accessories, and spices. The location is on a busy street, but did not have many people walking on the sidewalk. If you’re looking for a more affordable option and don’t mind driving into Newport, this spot is for you!

House does not advertise that it is located on a very busy main road. If I had known that I would not have booked this house. House is very very old, found multiple dead bugs on the ground in the living room and in the kitchen. When we got to the house, there were 2 paper towels left on the roll in the kitchen, we made dinner and used them immediately expecting to find another roll of paper towels in the cabinet as that is normal when renting a house. There was no additional roll and we looked all over the house for more- when I messaged the owner he insisted that he was just at the house the other day and there was another roll in the kitchen- there was not. Owner also only provided us with one additional roll of toilet paper for a group of 6 girls for a few days. When I mentioned this to the owner, and asked him to drop off paper towels/ toilet paper- he responded that he would not. Even though it says in the owners manual in the house that the house is fully stocked and if anything is missing or runs out- they would run it over immediately. He then stopped answering my messages and clearly did not care how our stay went One of the worst experiences I have ever had renting a house, could not recommend less.

Super cute 1930’s bungalow with lots of vintage charm. The house was SUPER CLEAN! Close to Newport without paying the higher price. The front door can be tricky to lock. Communication with owner was good. He got right back to us and we were able to trouble shoot it. There was a nice binder on the kitchen table with info on things to do and where to dine etc. They even left us 2 cans of local beer! Only negative I can up with is that it’s on a main highway and it can be tricky pulling out into traffic. But really, it wasn’t that big of a deal to us. I highly recommend. Will stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed this 3 BR home e and all the wonderful woodwork. The kitchen is quirky but we made it work & loved it. The large DR and LR were very comfortable. BR's - beds comfortable but need a few more accessories - lamps, nightstands. We stole furniture from LR to use as night stands. I was in middle room with no furniture other than 2 beds. HGTV could make this fabulous.
Location fabulous, we however, thought this house was in the country from pic. It is not, it is a 4 lane Main St. Used window A/C for white noise and then spept well.
Easy commute to Newport & we also took ferry to Martha's Vineyard - also easy.
Jeff did respond immediately when we couldn't get front door to lock and that was to get repaired. All in all, we 3 enjoyed our stay and would rent again.
