About this house rental
Recently updated home that is pet friendly and perfect for families or groups of friends. It's a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home with a fully stocked kitchen and access to washer and dryer. Each bedroom has a desk and fast Wi-Fi (1 Gbps) is available throughout the house, perfect for work, streaming, or gaming. The house is located on a corner lot with lots of street parking available along the property line, as well as a 2-car driveway. There is no garage access.
The house can host up to 6 guests, although it may be more comfortable with 4. The front room boasts a 72" mounted smart TV with a reclining couch and loveseat, with plenty of space to lay down and watch a movie.
Pets are welcome! I just ask that you respect the furniture/home and clean up after them in the yard. The backyard is fully fenced and available to them, although the landscape hasn't been updated yet and may have weeds. The front yard is being worked on - the grass is being replaced with clover and wildflowers which are much more water conscious and a better fit for the desert landscape.
But don't worry, Bi-Centennial Park is just across the street (about a 1 min walk) with plenty of green grass to hang out and let your furry friend(s) get their energy out. The park also offers open barbecue/patio areas, baseball fields, a playground, skate park, and brand new pickleball courts!
Also located at the end of Coal Creek Trail, this location is the perfect place to explore some of the outdoorsy parts of town. If you follow the trail, it will take you by the heart of town, underneath Main Street, and all the way up to Cedar Canyon which is known for its beautiful scenery and red rock. The trail is 3.5 miles long, paved, perfect for walking or biking, and passes along 3 different city parks.
Burger Alley (200 N) is about a mile away and has tons of different fast-food options, as well as some local cuisine. Main street also boasts lots of food options, ranging from local burger joints to well-known sit-down chains.
If you're looking to explore a wider area, Cedar City sits roughly 45 minutes north of St. George (near Zion National Park and Snow Canyon), and about 45 minutes southwest of Brianhead (known for its skiing/snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking and Cedar Breaks in the summer). Further east you'll find Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Capitol Reef. I-15 also runs right through Cedar City, which makes it a great stopping place between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
Attention: This home is inclusive and available to all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. If you are intolerant of other people for these reasons, then this house is not a good fit for you and I suggest you look elsewhere for your stay. I am not trying to be rude, but I have had guests deface simple LGBT decor. I am LGBT myself and it's demeaning to me personally (and the broader community) when this happens. We don't have to share the same views - I simply request that we be sympathetic and respectful to each other. The decor is not overbearing or vulgar. Please be respectful. If you're able to do that - then welcome!! You will love your stay.

This manager offers a property they took enough animals for me to stop for the night. Communication was easy and seamless. Property looks nice the neighborhood is quiet. It’s easy to find with driveway parking. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would stay again if I’m ever on another road trip.

Overall a good place to stay. Needs improvement in the yard. Would highly recommend desert landscaping.

This was the first time renting an air B&B. We were taking our daughter to collage and needed a convenient place to stay close to the school. It was a nice house and felt close to home. The Manager of the property was very helpful and made our stay easy and non-hassle. They had all the amenities we needed. The property was well cleaned as far as we could tell. We would stay there again.

This is really a cute house that has been modernized and was really quite nice.
That being said, other than clean linens and towels, everything else was dirty. There was food in the sink, floors had grit and grime, and hair on everything.
The host was good to refund some of the stay, but we stayed up an hour until 11pm cleaning to make it habitable.
If they get it cleaned, I would stay again, but I’d confirm before staying again.

Needed a nearby option for the Shakespeare festival and this worked out great

Cleanliness was a major issue. Looked clean at first glance but smelled musty and slightly greasy throughout. Backyard was knee high with weeds called fox tail that can be extremely painful if dogs get in nose or pads of feet as they are barbed and will not come out easily. Not dog friendly as described.

Home did the job, was clean and ready for our short stay as we needed a place to stay for us and dogs for the night. I would have liked the yard to be in better shape for the dogs as there were goat heads and cheat instead of green grass. Other than that it was a nice home to stay in for the night

House was clean and as described online. Would recommend.

Overall cute property. Owner responsive. Nice place to stay if you don't plan on hanging out in the yard. The walls are thinner than I'm used to and only one roll of paper towel with no dishwasher pods which is why I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5. These can be easily fixed. Would stay here again. Pet friendly but my dog ended up not coming.

The house is the bare minimum if you need a place to stay. It is unfinished and bare bones. The yard and house aren’t well kept. The floors and rugs are filthy.

Very nice home. Laundry room is under renovation but still user friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

This VRBO was entirely adequate for our stay. Better than trying to rent a hotel with dogs, but definitely could benefit from some TLC. Inside was clean, linens were nice, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked.
Areas for improvement: description says 2 bath, but master bath is only a half bath - little inconvenient for a house that sleeps 6 people. Front yard is full of goathead weeds that wrecked our bike tires, and we kept tracking into the house. Back yard is fenced, but fence needs repairs. Didn't receive email with door code, but property manager was responsive.

The check in process was easy, The property was clean and had plenty of room for my parents, husband, and all of our pups.
It was a short 35/40 min drive to Brian Head ski resort and a 5 min drive to the downtown restaurants. We had a great stay and would definitely come again !

The home was really nice and cozy inside. I know they are still working on upgrades but overall a nice, convenient, location pretty close to everything and loved raking our dogs for a walk to the park right across the street. The only downfall was that part of the fence had been completely broken and laying in the yard. So i had improvise and try and keep it up with another piece of wood. So even though most of the fence is up and sturdy having that broken piece made it pretty hard with our pets. But everything else about the house was perfect!!

We came up the night before a day of skiing at Brianhead. The home is easy to get to from the highway. It was very clean and stocked with the essentials. The beds were fantastic. The backyard was fenced and great for the dogs. We would stay here again

We were visiting with our 2 small dogs. It was nice to have an enclosed backyard for them. (Though it was just rocks, weeds, and dirt. No grass.) They are in the middle of remodeling but everything was nice and in working order. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice spot to rest for a night after traveling from Kanab and exploring Dixie NF. Dogs enjoyed access to the backyard. Grocery stores nearby and available kitchen ware allowed for our first home cooked meal in 4 days.
