Check in was simple, the home was much more spacious than it appears online, ample room for our family of 6. Everything was clean and welcoming, and we loved the peaceful location. Would happily recommend again!

We were here for a wedding In sequim and absolutely loved the home. It was central to all the activities. It is a beautiful drive just going to house. The home is clean, had plenty of space and had all the necessities. The views from the house were gorgeous. Just standing in the kitchen you see the hills. We saw alot of deer there that were not afraid to just graze with you there watching. There was very little road noise. We loved it here and would recommend to everyone!

Was immaculate, all the amenities one could ask for. View of deer in back yard, spectacular

Property is in a remote area. Not much to do around there. Stayed one night. Sadly we couldnt get the ceiling heater to heat, was chilly, had to use the portable heaters which barely took the chill off. I tried calling the number given but gave up on hold after maybe 15 minutes. Place was clean but garbage can was 3/4 full when we got there.

It was a great place for a family of four to spend some R&R. School-aged kids enjoyed having their rooms and tv access. The hot tub was in perfect working condition and a great addition to the space. There were pool towels provided. The kitchen was roomy and easy to work with.
The beds were comfy. It was right next to the highway but the noise was only noticeable when outside.

We found this home comfortable and convenient as we looped from Seattle, Portland, Port Angeles back to Seattle. It was a great place to unwind and relax. We had problems connecting to the WiFi but a simple restart fixed it! The hot tub was a perk after our many hikes. It was nice to spread out and have our own space.

The house is incredible. Clean, has everything, we stayed and needed nothing just enjoyed the view the house cannot say enough about how happy we were staying here.

Our friends were getting married in Port Gamble and there wasn’t anywhere left to stay there, so we found this place 25 minutes south west. It absolutely serviced our needs for the weekend! Loved the hot tub, and the space to spread out. Kitchen was well-equipped (albeit the usual dull knives found in rentals).
Deer bounding by outside any time of day! Gorgeous stars at night. We used pretty much the whole house including both patios, the laundry, the kitchen, and the living room. Nicely located right next to a National Park for plenty of hike options. There’s a lovely coffee stand on the property we used twice. Very friendly folks and great coffee! Would absolutely stay here again for a similar purpose.

Wonderful spa and shower, perfect for relaxing after spending time in the near by wilderness. Cool book collection, great beds, plenty of room in and out. Cooked a meal from local foods in the beautiful kitchen, was a great way to end our trip.

This home was fantastic for our family of 6. Everything was recently updated and very clean. I would recommend this home if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Quilcene area!

Beautiful property. Loved the big windows in the kitchen. I could look out into the back and watch a family of deer every morning and evening. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked and we had plenty of space for our family.

Don't miss this one if you want a great get-away across the water from Edmonds! A beautiful, comfortable large home with a big hot tub out back. The kitchen is fully-loaded, with everything you need. Next time I plan to stay for three or four days!

Absolutely loved the views, the modern amenities of the house, the hot tub, and the cleanliness. I did a tour for friends who live in the area and they will also be recommending to any visitors they have coming.
Areas for improvement - there’s so many light switches please label them. I couldn’t figure out the bathroom fan (took 3 buttons) and set off the smoke alarm while showering. Please put a note on the back door that it locks behind you (I got locked out and required assistance to get back in), and lastly update the wifi password on the email and in the house (neither one worked, but I was able to pull it directly from the router).

It was our home away from home for a quick weekend trip in the Olympic forest. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was awesome and the book/dvd selection was pretty on point. My main critique is the heating system is lacking in the bedrooms, so we had to keep the doors open to be comfortable at night. Also, the wifi was pretty bad as others have mentioned. We would love to return!

Pros: We loved the quaint, quiet cabin feel with modern updates! Having a washer and dryer was amazing! Beautiful fully updated kitchen with plenty of family space! Fully stocked with everything you need to cook, except spices. Hot tub was a pleasant plus! Very easy to work with owners. Coffee shop on the property was great!
Cons: not enough wi-fi to watch a movie in the evenings. Not a big deal for us, but if we had our kids with us, it would have been an issue. Even adding a DVD player would be nice. Ice maker on fridge is locked so bring your own ice.
No hot water in rock shower. Hot water in other shower, next to the water heater, was fine. Take 3 cycles to dry clothes in washer.
Lastly, hot tub could use a bit more chlorine...
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time at this location. The house was well appointed with everything needed. We brought things we thought we might need in the kitchen, but it already had everything! The hot-tub was lovely. It probably needed a bit more chlorine added but nothing too bad that we still weren't able to enjoy. All together it was a nice relaxing stay away from home. We kept commenting how wonderful it would be to stay in the winter time!

The house and location was just what we were looking for.
Problems: Wi-Fi password did not work. Contacted phone number. I was told someone would get back to me. Never happened. Hot tub heater too hot. Contacted via text, the solutions did not work. Also, added to the text feed that we had a wasp nest. It turned out to be yellow jackets. I purchased a nest killer spray. That nest was under the stairs to the hot tub. Never heard back from anyone about that.
Refrigerator leaked every day. Constantly mopped up kitchen floor from the leak. Bedroom door to the right of living room, the door was extremely hard to close.
We enjoyed our stay, but it could have been excellent with these issues fixed. Will rent again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is updated with a great layout. Everything you can imagine in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and view from back deck beautiful with frequent visits from deer. We were in town for a wedding that was only 2 miles up the road. The only challenge was with the Wi-Fi.

The living room needs additional seating and an ottoman, and only the living room TV connected to the internet. The password we had for the Internet through the VACASA app was not correct.
Hot tub A++, kitchen A++, washer and dryer A++, PNW Press coffee shop outside our front door A++, driving distance to Olympic NP, Mount Rainier NP (long day but worth it), quick ferry trip to Canada all A++!

Nicely updated house in a nice location. Property was clean and well maintained. I was concerned it would not feel very private being so close to the road, but its nicely positioned with fencing and trees. Nice deck system and hot tub.
Improvements I would recommend include posting the correct wifi password. The password listed in the email is incorrect and I did not receive a response on the correct password until our 4th day when we were preparing to check out. It also would have been ideal to have more than one small couch in the living room area. Definitely needs another couch, a coffee table and side tables for the number of bedrooms it has. My last preference would be the ability to adjust the hot tub temperature. It was set very high and a little too hot to all 4 of us staying there.
Overall a very nice stay and I would book if again.

We stayed as a family of four in this home. It was perfect for us. The house was clean, had a nice and open floor plan with a lot of natural light. It was quiet and had beautiful views. The hot tub was very nice as were the outdoor decks.

A couple of girlfriends and I stayed at this property for a low key weekend getaway, and overall had a good experience. I did message the property twice (once before and once during stay) via VRBO and did not receive responses; however, please note that neither of our concerns were immediately pressing and we did not use the provided phone number to call anyone. The WiFi was basically inaccessible to us, so we used our phone hot spots (Verizon) to stream movies and have internet instead of the smart TVs. I would recommend that at least 1 DVD player is added to the house so folks can bring their own movies/entertainment. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed, and the gas stove was a plus! The cleanliness of the fridge could have been a little better - there was some sort of slimy residue left on handles/shelves. The hot tub was fantastic, and we loved the giant patio area! The view of Mt Walker from the back room windows was beautiful - it would be great to see the king sized bed in this bedroom. We were a little confused by all of the light switches - there were many. It may be helpful to have labels on the primary switches for the house. We would definitely consider staying at this property again - it’s cozy, spacious, and has a remote vibe about it. Thank you!

If you are a chef and hiking enthusiast this location is for you. Every item to whip up amazing meals after touring the wonders of the Olympic Cascade. Kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of space to entertain, hot tub to soak the muscles, quiet evenings, and large deck/backyard space. Three downsides of my stay: 1. No internet access points and Wi-Fi was very weak. Vacasa should indicate that Wi-Fi is spotty, as this is a rural area you will get intermittent service. (No/lagging streaming). 2. Remotes don’t change tv cable, they have DVDs to watch but no DVD player. 3. Cleanliness wasn’t the best, linen was left in dryer and washer, food stains, and cigarettes buds on porch, very minor issues, but attention to detail can go a long way.
We did call for assistance and Vacasa customer service was very friendly but they didn’t provide any remedies for our stay. The maintenance person never returned. They did inform us we where about the third house guests. We did notice that because several dishes still had stickers on them and maintenance had minor repairs that needed mending. Shower handle is loose, porch wood rail is loose and need of paint to match the other railing, loose ceiling light, need more lights outdoors leading to hot tub.
With a little TLC we’d give this place a second chance!
