We loved the area, on arrival we was greated with a baked cake, bacon, milk, cereal, bread, biscuits, butter, tea and coffee basically everything, we can't thank these guys enough, it was a great base for 2 days at Longleat, we will definitely be back here, 5 stars.

The view from the bedroom and Lounge are lovely. Was nice to greet the horses each monring. The property has an lovely open plan kitchen/diner and a surprise of extras provided by the owner, there was pretty much everything you'd need, and a lovely home-made cake. Owner was delightful.
The living room is a little bit chilly. Windows needed cleaning throughout.
Didn’t know how to get Freeview ( Normal channels) had to trial the different profiles, perhaps some basic instructions?
There were other tiny things but none which at all impacted our stay, like wobbly tap in loo downstairs.

The property and the location were both wonderful and the owner could not have been nicer. We arrived to find supplies for breakfast (we arrived at 2 a.m.) plus a delicious home made cake. The rooms are both spacious and homely and the under floor heating works very well. We were there for a family visit rather than a holiday, but I would not hesitate to recommend the property to anyone looking for a high quality, quiet and relaxing location in beautiful countryside, yet barely five minutes away from supermarkets and shops.

Lovely location and scenery, very comfortable with everything we needed. A lovely welcome pack too including home made cake which was a nice touch.

A lot of small touches that pleased us. The welcome food and drink pack was excellent. Beautiful location. Very peasant host who made you feel very welcome.
Bed was a little hard for us, but thats a very personal requirement and would be perfect for a lot of people.

The Barn was perfect for our bank holiday getaway. It was in a beautiful & peaceful location with amazing views (especially from the master bedroom). The host was lovely and even left a hamper of gifts and a home made cake for us when we arrived. The Barn is so spacious so it was perfect for our group of friends and it was also very clean. Local pubs, nice walks. We loved our stay.

Could not fault this property and the host! Beautiful house in a beautiful setting! Gorgeous hamper and delicious homemade cake at the property when we arrived and everything we could need for a chilled family weekend

Loved the quiet location, and the style of the property was great for a couple of days away.
There are a lot of stairs in the property, and with the child, it can be a bit of a concern. There is a stair gate for the main stairs, which is great but if you have a 2 year old like mine, he can open and close doors so did have to watch him. I didn't realise this at the time of booking. Would also say there was a lack of kitchen utensils, which made it difficult for cooking at tines, but we did manage.

The location was amazing, beautiful views & wonderful wild life. The host was a lovely lady, we had a lovely hamper & a delicious home made chocolate cake waiting for us on arrival.
There was nothing not to like.

lovely welcoming feeling (homemade cake ect upon arrival which was lovely) The location is very quiet and peaceful with a really lovely view of the countryside (lovely to sit and watch the cows, dear, pheasant ect). the barn is really nicely decorated and had a homely feeling about it (beds are super comfy). we had a few visits from a lovely Dalmatian which we didn’t mind at all as she was very well behaved. the kitchen was well equipped for a young family’s needs, it’s like a home from home.
one very tiny thing - there was a sort of waterproof mattress protector sheet on the double bed which made us rather sweaty during the night (have to say it was very warm during our stay). not sure it’s really needed to be honest, especially in the summer. it’s not a big deal though and we still had a great nights sleep!

Bright, spacious and thoughtfully decorated and furnished set in lovely grounds surrounded by amazing views and wildlife literally on your doorstep. Also the host MaryAnn was warm and welcoming and laid on so many generous little extras that I’ve never experienced anywhere else before.

It was a beautiful property and was in a lovely scenic location. We had a view of the fields and lovely horses on our doorstep. We were able to drive to Durdledoor and Bournemouth in an hour which was perfect for us as we liked to be away from the hustle and bustle in the evenings. The owner was very helpful, we were greeted with a lovely hamper and even an Easter cake. My children had a wonderful time playing outside with her pet dogs which were very friendly and docile. I would definitely recommend.

After a 3 hour trip with little ones, the fact we could just walk straight into the barn with no hassle was perfect :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the barn. Although we didn't meet our hosts in person, they made it very welcoming for us. The home made cake went down a treat. After visiting longleat safari park, our girls were more excited to be going back to the barn I think! :) We would definitely come again and will be recommending to family and friends.
There was nothing we didn't like!!

Very clean, with good quality linens/fittings. Quiet rural location but not far from the town. Lots of lovely treats left for us, including a home-made cake.

The hosts were lovely and welcoming (as were their dogs) and the accommodation itself was simply stunning. The master bedroom was very large and the huge windows offered amazing views of the valley below. The quality of fittings throughout the building was very high quality. No corners were cut.
It was unusually hot when we visited, so a lighter-weight duvet would have been lovely.
