The place to stay in Avignon

It was wonderful to get to know our hosts Emmanuelle & Florian. We were genuinely made to feel at home. The location is perfect to explore Avignon. The room and facilities are exceptional.

Un séjour formidable !

Lieu exceptionnel en plein cœur d'Avignon. Weekend formidable début mai : on a pu profiter du jardin, de la piscine et du jacuzzi ! Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants et sympathiques. On reviendra !

Schitterende locatie. Rustige oase in de binnenstad. Je kunt lekker in de zon zitten/liggen vanuit de grote jacuzzi in de tuin naast het zwembad, zalig.

kleine details : een betere koffiezetmachine, een kast om kleren in te leggen wegen niet op tegen de pluspunten. Iets meer flexibiliteit in in- en uitcheck uren.

City was busy because of theatre festival. But Avignon is a great city.

Breakfast was great, garden with swimming pool was great!

Perfect!

Fabien and Emmanuelle were amazing hosts who welcomed us in to their home. An oasis of calm, with a beautiful garden and pool, luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms, and generous buffet breakfast. In a perfect position for exploring Avignon. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for visiting Avignon

Fantastic location in the heart of Avignon. So easy to walk to the major attractions and endless bars nearby. Florian and Emmanuel were also great hosts

It would be nice to have a fridge in the room. The hotel is more like a house with a garden which is great and food is allowed in the garden however without a fridge you will always need to go out and buy this before bringing it back.

Staying at Florian and Emmanuel’s is like staying with family friends you have know a lifetime.

I can not recommend this property more. The location, the place itself was lovingly restored, the pool on hot summer days, the selection of drinks by the pool (the champagne was very good), but most importantly Florian and Emmanuel are what make this place so special. You can tell that this place is a labor of love. They treat you like family the entire stay. Florian has an amazing sense of humor and will keep a smile on your face the entire time. Emmanuel is kind and caring and wants to make sure everything is just right. The property is spotless thanks to Florian’s energy. A leaf would fall from the tree and he swoop in to catch it. The bed was excellent and the room was so quiet. Make sure Florian shows you the disco shower! Also prior to arrival they are great about communicating and even helped with getting our car parked. Staying with them was the highlight of Avignon! I can’t recommend it more!

In the loft room they could use a mirror and a trash can downstairs. That is a small add not something we didn’t like.

What was there not to like. Loved everything! Gorgeous pool and apartment. Completely relaxing after a long day exploring.

The hotel was amazing, such a beautiful property in a tranquil garden setting with pool, which the owners should be very proud of. They are exceptional hosts, probably the best we have ever encountered, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely return.

Great location, great hosts and great house!

Beautiful house, great location, amazing facilities and friendly hosts! It was more than what we were expecting, and very much enjoyed our stay!

We were a little disappointed to pay for parking. We were aware of the charge before our stay, but it was a little more than advertised and we would’ve preferred it was just included in the price. However, the parking we did pay for was very secure which gave us a lot of comfort.

Perfect. Relaxing. Beyond expectations

The apartment was stunning. The host waited at a nearby roundabout to make sure we found the place. He made us very welcome, explained everything and even recommended and booked a fabulous restaurant for us.

Hosts went above and beyond and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome and feel part of the family.

Everything was exceptional. we had the ground floor room which had kitchen . This worked so well for us . Through the patio doors and you were in the garden where we played boules. swimming pool and hot tub were spotless and kept to a very high standard.

Very helpful host who assisted us in changing rooms. The stairs to our reserved room were difficult for us to climb. We were moved to a wonderful apartment. Parking was perfect. Our host even walked my husband to where we initially parked the car to bring it to the B and B to unload luggage and then took him to the garage where we parked the car.

Great place to stay with wonderful hosts!

The breakfast was more than a typical French breakfast. Florian made fresh squeezed juices every morning. There was a wide variety of baked goods, fresh and dried fruits, meats and cheeses. As well as other little nibbles. The location couldn't have been better. The large garden was beautiful with a pool and decking and comfortable furniture.

Our hosts were fantastic! Our apartment was in an excellent location …very clean, comfortable, and easy access to all Avignon has to offer. Enjoyed every moment and hope to return.

Ideal location for access to the old town of Avignon.

Breakfast was excellent, prepared by the great hosts and fresh everyday. Lovely courtyard with pool, jacuzzi etc. Rooms were clean and fresh. I'd go back.

Trying to find parking within the walled city could be fun!

Our hosts were wonderful - incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The apartment was beautiful, with every convenience and a fantastic location. The swimming pool was gorgeous, the whole place is like an oasis, we highly recommend La Maison de l’Olivier!
