Experience the beauty of the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin from this bright and airy updated home. You’ll be one block from the Roschen Park boat ramp and the walking path on Lake Pepin in the friendly town of Lake City MN. Enjoy beating the crowds to the ramp without the early wake up and long drive. Walk along the lakeshore or drive to downtown restaurants, shops and marina located approximately one mile away.

This one-story home is in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent view of the lake from the living and dining areas as well as the outside deck. Cook at home in a fabulous kitchen with modern appliances and well stocked with all the essentials. Relax in the upstairs living area or on the deck enjoying the view of the lake watching the eagles, pelicans, and sailboats.
Two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with walk in shower are located on the main level. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other a queen both with cozy bedding and generous size closets and dressers.
The basement has a second living area featuring a reclining couch, a 55” smart TV along with a table to enjoy games or puzzles provided for your entertainment. A small office with a desk and laundry room are also available on the lower level.
Outside, find room to play yard games. The driveway has plenty of room for parking vehicles as well as a boat. The front door is equipped with keyless entry and a video doorbell with coverage of the front door and driveway.
Lake Pepin and the Mississippi River are renowned for their exceptional walleye, panfish and bass fishing. Lake City and the surrounding area have fun boutiques, restaurants, breweries, wineries, golf courses, water & snow skiing, biking, and walking paths to enjoy during your stay. Come relax and enjoy all Lake City and the Lake Pepin area have to offer.

The house was beautiful and felt very upscale beach/lake house. Even though it’s not directly on the water, you have a view of the lake and have easy access to the water. Downtown Lake City is walkable. Even though we didn’t need all of what was provided at the house, it is nice to know that it is fully stocked for future visits. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in a perfect location! This house has everything you will need and more. Kitchen is new and very well stocked. Bathrooms are great. Bed very comfortable. Spacious, clean, everything you need. Even more importantly than how GREAT the house was is the AMAZING host! Excellent communication, thoughtful, flexible. We happened to be staying during a family emergency and Virginia was amazing! Will definitely rent this property every time we are in town!! 5 PLUS STARS!!

My sister and I stayed for three nights in early December. We do this annually and have for about ten years. This was hands down the best place we’ve stayed. It was very clean, well stocked, had great internet and tv stations and was very quiet. Check in and out was simple and clear. It’s not right on the lake but that was fine with us…the view was lovely, and in warmer months the outside patios would be wonderful. There were only two of us but the house could accommodate more. The owner was very responsive and professional. We will definitely stay here again!

If relaxation with a view is in your vacation plans, please consider this beautiful property. A short distance from Lake Pepin, the image shown here is the view for you over coffee or happy hour on the front deck. We all agreed this property felt like you were a guest in a friend's home with the privacy of your own space. This beautiful property is very well appointed from kitchen to living areas to accessories. The owner is thinking about the guest experience. The location is just south of downtown and the marina and a short walk to a public boat ramp. We enjoyed our stay in Lake City with a pontoon rental and lunch and wine tasting one day in Pepin, WI. If you've never been to the Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN it is a short drive and a great place to visit. Speaking of Eagles, we saw many while on the lake and driving in the area and even one soaring overhead while relaxing on the deck.

Our stay was most enjoyable. Three friends celebrating their 75th birthdays together. Every aspect of our stay was outstanding. We would highly recommend this home to all. Sometime you stumble across a little gem of life that you just want to hold for yourself. Then the better side of you says, “Share good things.” This is one of those good things. An updated, fantastically laid out home. Everything you need for a short or extended visit is here. The entire place is fitted with contemporary appliances and furniture. There are dishes, glassware, pots, pans, silverware, oven cookware and every utensil you might want to use. Coffee, spices, even flour and sugar in case you get the urge to bake. Of course there is WiFi and a large screen smart TV. Located in a quiet residential area, the deck faces Pepin Lake (aka the Mississippi River) only about 200 feet away. Morning coffee, lunch of after dinner drinks on the deck are highlighted by the occasional Bald Eagle and other large birds soaring overhead. Not much time for that TV. A riverfront park and boat launch along side a smooth walkway is about 100 yards north of the house. Follow the sidewalk one mile into town and there is a fully stocked grocery store, restaurants, and small shops waiting for you. Like I said, “I shouldn’t tell you this” because I want it available for my return visit.

This home is impeccable. The decor, the furnishings, the colors are flawless, and the wood floors are a work of art. Together, they create a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with everything one would need. We loved the quiet neighborhood and, most especially, the deck and the view of the lake. Outstanding property. Excellent location with quiet, serene lake view. Within walking distance of downtown Lake City and easy access to nearby recreational sites. Impeccably organized, comfortable and spotlessly clean. From Red Wing to Wabasha you won't find a nicer property.

This house is in a prime location and was absolutely perfect for a little staycation. It was very clean & had everything you could want in a home rental. We especially enjoyed sitting in the living room & deck watching the water. I would absolutely recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook a stay! This house was absolutely perfect for our girls getaway. The house couldn’t have been any cleaner! It had everything we needed! We enjoyed the deck out front and the views of the lake! We walked into town, which was a great walk! Communication with Virginia was very easy. We definitely plan to come back next year!

This is a home away from home that has everything you need to reduce the stress in your life. The design of the home offers excellent natural light exposure and airflow. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our time here. Our intention was to get the family out on the water for some waterskiing, tubing, swimming and fishing. Mission accomplished! Had one really calm day and got my12 yo up on skis which was a thrill for us all. I did some skiing , swimming and fishing - which all turned out . Great weather and this house is truly a GEM.
