A real treat!

The communication beforehand was clear and useful. Very detailed! Ali and Mark really have thought of everything, sending a guide book upon booking and ensuring our stay was comfortable and relaxing. It actually felt like a real holiday. The cottage is delightful!

The rain!! Hahaha...it rained incessantly whilst we were there but the cottage remained dry and cosy. We still visited all the places we wanted to and have come home filled with great memories...and more knowledge of the Roman times!

Ticked all the boxes for us and excellent value. Would happily book again.

Beautiful location and a comfortable, well-maintained property. Well organised, had everything we needed, easy to find our way around. The roads in the area can be very narrow, steep and winding so the directions/travel advice provided ahead of our arrival made a big difference.

Perfect for families and exploring the beautiful Cotswold's!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! It was the perfect location and the perfect size for our family. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We would recommend this cottage to others and would love to stay here again in the future!

Quiet with beautiful views, but wi fi problems.......

Beautiful gardens front and back and very, very quiet. Immaculately clean. A good introduction to the proper Cotswolds for my Ethiopian friend, Very comfortable beds. Kindling for the first night (log burner) was included in the price. Thank you!

Wi fi code didn't work. While the breadth of information on the hospitality app was very helpful, I didn't want to spend my time on my smartphone scrolling through for relevant information. As a baby boomer (and if others have wi-fi problems too) it's good to have a paper based alternative in the property. For the first night, the host could turn on the heating for guests, as there's enough going on after a busy day out.......! That would be more thoughtful. The parking was also limited and muddy.

A peaceful stay at this pretty cosy cottage!

lovely cosy cottage for a friends gathering. Set over 3 floors bedrooms very tastefully made up and the beds were so comfortable. Kitchen quite well equipped. Ali’s web page was really well done,informative and helpful. A gift of wine chocolates and crisps were a nice touch and very happily consumed.

Not much. A few cobwebs on the ceiling but nothing major. A cloth and kitchen spray would have been helpful but I normally take my own.

A Marvellous Little Find!

We loved the little cottage - we were two couples sharing the cottage but there was plenty of privacy and lots of lovely common areas to spend time together. The garden suite in the basement/bottom most floor was very charming as were the bedrooms on the first floor. The beds were very comfy and the bed linen and towels of very high quality, which was a great plus point for me. There was a welcome hamper of goodies waiting for us in the dining room and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a great selection of teas and coffees. For me, what made this a home away from home was the Nespresso machine (with pods included)! I was little surprised that there was no washing machine, but it didn't impact on our stay in any way as we were there for 3 nights. We loved the front and back gardens and enjoyed our al fresco dinners. We didn't get around to using the hot tub as we were too busy exploring. Our host, Ali, was very helpful and sent us a brilliant guidebook/instructions. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area and will be recommending the cottage to our friends.
