Although we enjoyed, we found lots of aspects of the hotel outdated and threadbare.
Certainly not worth the money we paid for it .
We dont know why our extra big bed had a folded duvet in the middle under the sheet.
It felt like we were climbing a mountain.
The settee in the suite was very uncomfortable and small.
The bathroom had rubbish from previous occupants, although it was benind the bath, but still, i found it. The shower still had curly hairs on the walls, not from us,
The afternoon tea was lovely though
We found it slightly petty , that im asking at 2.45 if our room was ready, to be told no it wasnt ,I sayd so in 15 min it will be and she said yes, I found that really petty

The hotel looks good from the outside, and the public areas like bar and restaurant were modern and welcoming. However, that’s about where it ends, the room was a little dated, hallways scruffy and the pool and spa is need for modernisation. The steam room has a smell and is dark and dingy, the sauna is unloved.
Overall I felt the hotel wasn’t overly clean, a lot of dust in areas and a general sense of lack of care.
The food in restaurant however, was very good and presented well. The menu was interesting and featured nice options.
At the price I paid, I wouldn’t stay again, it would need to be cheaper. £122 for a superior room where the toilet fan was noisy and the floor creaked, the bed hard and the bathroom shower with black marks, is a little overpriced.
There are other options in the town at a similar price for better quality.
4.2
Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Unfortunately the fan made a loud noise and when upstairs room had a shower, our bathroom ceiling leaked. The toilet flush knob came off. I was surprised there were no toilets in pool area/changing rooms and one of the lockers are our pound coin.

Stayed at this hotel many times in the past & very happy with everything it has to offer. Great location, good food, staff & amenities.
My only issue is with the hotels.com rewards scheme I booked with definitely poor to say the least. Although I will be staying with this hotel in the future but booking direct!

We had an enjoyable stay. We feel the bedrooms bathroom & general areas needs a revamp & brightning up. The breakfast tea/coffee help yourself didn’t enjoy. The last time we were there you were served at your table. The staff in the restaurant were excellent as was the food. Suggestion maybe change menu more often in restaurant.
4.2
Have stayed at this hotel many times previously but was disappointed this time. Breakfast setup has changed since last visit- fewer staff- slow to replace items that had run out- a little chaotic. Swimming pool still a positive and hotel is generally clean. Rooms and building generally could do with updating
4.2
Well situated property with parking.
Comfortable well equipped room, crisp linens, water, tea/coffee/biscuit.
Pump lotion, soap, shampoo.
Breakfast is plentiful.

Loved this hotel! Great location, lovely garden. The breakfast was fantastic and the spa was very good! Particularly loved the Whatsapp service where you could contact the property to ask questions and make bookings, reply was always prompt and helpful.
Liked our balcony too- just could have been cleaned a little more- very cobwebby and some Prosecco bottles left outside.
4.2
Third stay at this hotel and very close to both beach and promenade
4.2
Excellent location very close to the beach and shops. Great hotel and Spa, lovely breakfast.
Only criticism A/C was a little noisy!
4.2
Good staff and nice breakfast area

This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel and we cannot fault it, the rooms are very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again
4.2
Been before and always lovely Great staff and nice breakfasts
4.2
Everything was good and the price was good Everything was good couldn't expect more stuff was brilliant
4.2
Good menu selection in the restaurant available. Service can be a little slower than normal when busy so keep this in mind. Staff were friendly and professional. Pool/sauna/gym facilities really good and well maintained. Overall pleasant stay.
4.2
Service friendly and helpful, but hotel tired looking, tiny bathrooms, could have been cleaner. Pool felt slimy on the walls. Parking very limited and chargeable at £8 per day. Parking spaces extremely tight. On the whole Bournemouth is terrible for parking and its charges.
4.2
Customer service was the best part of this stay!!
4.2
Limited parking spaces.
4.2
Overrated, tiny room for cost, the restaurant closed before 9 PM
4.2
Property was classed as 4 star but was dated and the standard was nowhere near what the photos looked like.
Floorboards creaked. Rooms had a musty smell and the air conditioning unit kept making noises even when switched off! Walls were very thin and we could hear the TV next door.
Breakfast was adequate.
Spa was good and had a large pool.
Location was good but area a bit dodgy at night. We could access the beach via a walkway down the cliff. It was fine for a wheelchair getting down but getting back up to the hotel was a problem. The area is a bit hilly so would recommend staying elsewhere if you need to use a wheelchair. The accessible room was ok but located on the third floor.
Staff were helpful
Overall would class the hotel as a 3 star

Great place to stay

Came down from Southampton to watch a band at the BIC. Parked up at lunchtime time and came back to an easy check in and a lovely room with a massive double king size bed. Will definitely return
4.2
Great Hotel in a quite location off the main road. Bus service good good quality pool and spa. Breakfast good all food hot. The only problem the hairdryer wasn't worki g properly and could do with a tray for cups and tea items on.
4.2
Beautiful room- clearly recently been redecorated, very comfortable.
Swimming pool and jacuzzi very nice.
Breakfast was good until I was served a gluten free sausage- raw in the middle! I was offered another but declined as I had already eaten the rest- I also didn’t want to risk food poisoning from raw pork.
4.2
Professional and friendly staff. From check in to the staff during breakfast and dinner.
4.2
Good prime location. Easy access to main roads. Excellent facilities including sauna, steam, spa & swimming pool. There is an in house restaurant with the bar as well.
4.2
The hotel it’s self was pleasant and the staff on arrival were lovely the only thing that ruined our weekend away was the area around it and how our van was broken in to at night no sever damage was done but a few personal items were taken!
The hotel do have security cameras in the surrounding car park but to get the evidence they said it would take them a couple of hours to recover this! The police are informed of the incident and the hotel did say they would contact me but I’ve heard nothing since regarding this incident.
4.2
The property is very clean and well maintained. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant looked recently remodeled and the food and service were great. It was a short walk to the beach. Would recommend.
4.2
It’s a good location for a couple of nights stay However it is a little tired. The rooms were perfectly acceptable and clean.
The corridor and stairs carpets were showing signs of age.
The Pool ect was very good but again it was tired.
Would I return most definitely
4.2
Great hotel with great facilities, friendly staff but unfortunately we could not sleep well. Room's wall very thin, we could hear the 3 people in the next room shouting and swearing. It was horrible really!
4.2
Very tired looking hotel, really not worth the price we paid for the room
Could do with a refurbishment
Staff were nice

Perfect

It was brilliant we were given free upgrades to a suite each due to us being relocated from another hotel due to that one being closed
4.2
Due to a Freemasons large party the food wait in the bar was 40 mins!
rooms are a little noisy, but over all i would stay again great location
4.2
First night issues with air conditioning unit keeping us awake we were moved but damage was done can’t believe this was the first time. No apology or adequate reimbursement offered or made
4.2
Rooms are noisy no sound proofing and walls thin
4.2
Amazing staff and comfort. Loved it
4.2
The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel carpets were worn but clean. Beds were comfortable and quiet for road noise except on bin day. breakfast was lovely.
4.2
Alot of the hotel was tired and dated. The bed room appeared to be clean but, then noticed dust on the mirror and dressing table. There was abit of limescale in the kettle, no tray incase of spills while tea making. The matress sagged in the middle and was flat, pillows were similar.
The bathroom had peeling paint on a unit next to the toilet. There was congealed soap stain on the base of the dispenser. Bath was fitted with a shower curtain.
We had the worst nights sleep as kept being disturbed by a frequent noise. Couldn't make out what it was and where coming from, sounded machine pump of sorts but, it continued all night.
When we returned to the hotel after a show the bar was closed and it was only around 10:30 pm!
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
We only stayed one night so didnt complain but made them aware on check out.
4.2
Well positioned to transport and town (we took a bus from Swanage that stops at the end of the street)
Staff friendly and helpful. Room and hotel clean and well presented.
Very busy with a wedding and lots of guests due to local events but still the room was quiet and nil inpact to our stay.
Breakfast was included in our stay, staff were polite, (many felt new and inexperienced but some guiding more experiencedstaff obvious) and options plentify.
We didnt use the other facilities due to our limited time but nice to know they are available and looked good, as did the parking options.
Would stay here again.
