We thought the hotel had a good room with separate bedroom, which was nice. Everyone was friendly. The surprise was the great restaurant! Interesting menu, and fantastic taste. Highly recommend. Wait staff was terrific!

Location - on the bluff above Silver Beach - meant that much of St. Joseph's tourist draws were within walking distance. The Inn itself was very nice, a tad dated but still in fine condition. The Bistro restaurant was pricey but fine food - esp the omlette. (They also make the cookies available in the lobby in the afternoon.) Only one quibble - we were going to be interviewed for TV news, we asked if we could use the library for 20 minutes or so, but when we came downstairs we saw a hotel employee setting up for a vendor interview there. Asked if the employee was aware of our request - and were told that they wouldn't 'kick anyone out' unless we were paying for the room. Which was fair, but when I was in the hotel business a guest request always trumps an employee's use (especially when the restaurant is available for them instead).

First time staying at the Boulevard Inn & Bistro... Friendly and helpful folks at the front desk and Bistro. Rooms and views are amazing. We had a park view suite and you can see for miles. Great location to all the activities if you even want to leave. The suite was appointed nicely with plush towels and bedding. The Bistro menu was creative with Elk and Antelope to mention a couple... The food was outstanding. We will definitely be staying here again!

The location was very close to Lake Michigan and our corner two room suite had amazing views. The suite was clean and quiet. The Bistro restaurant had amazing food. Our only complaint would be the old, noisy elevators. We did have issues with our door catching making it hard to open. We did alert the front desk so that maintenance could address. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We were celebrating our 31 year Anniversary couldn't of asked for a nicer place to celebrate. Loved that it was in walking distance to Downtown and the restaurant in the hotel was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

It was like old-time elegance, dining on the porch. Our waitress was a lovely elderly woman who really knew how to make you feel welcome and special. The rooms (suites) were nicely appointed and very comfortable. Loved having the lake view.

cute, clean, boutique hotel in excellent location. Only thing we found problematic was parking. All parking in the town are public and the hotel does not have a designated guest space, anybody can park in their small parking. It was a busy weekend so it was hard to find parking. hotel is clean, restaurant staff excellent. Not much amenities on the property, nice pool and jacuzzi would be nice but distance to Silver Beach park makes up for it.

Our great experience started with Allison at the desk. She was so sweet and even printed a map for us to Tosi's, Our room was so spacious and so clean!!! I felt so comfortable there that I told my husband several times that it would be a perfect apartment for us! We ate out on the veranda (stuffed French toast) which was amazing, and Lela was friendly and explained items on the menu so nicely. We love The Boulevard Inn and would stay there again. Thanks.

The proximity to the beach was the key ingredient for this hotel. Natalie Sharps and Dillon from the Bistro were awesome and the food was top tier. Hotel staff was courteous and prompt. I'll definitely be returning.

We had a park view room suite which was very roomy. The furnishings were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant and bar had delicious food and drinks and attentive waitstaff. We would stay again!
