We had a one night, quick getaway and this place is perfection. This is our second time staying here and we couldn't ask for better accommodations, close to everything and a feeling like you're in a tropical island. We can't wait to come back soon.

Have been to Tropical Breeze several times - the location cannot be beat! So quiet, and yet so easy to walk to the village for some fun :) The only issue we faced was that the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain (well) and that was a pain (and kind of gross!) Groundskeepers and housekeeping staff do a fantastic job of maintaining the property. Thanks for another great visit.

The room was nice and clean but the pool closed early, the tables and chairs are not well kept, dusty. Also, tenants take up 2 parking spaces and parking is already limited. Not worth the money. It’s also still a long walk to the beach access with no sidewalk fyi

what a great place. So walkable to all of downtown Siesta Key. Less than a block to the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We have family in Sarasota and will definitely stay here again on our next visit

Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance. Siesta Beach was a 3-5 minute walk from our room. The resort provided plenty of complimentary beach chairs for guests to use. The only downside is that it would have been nice to have a dining table or coffee table to eat at since we had a room with a kitchen, but we made it work. Would absolutely stay here again!

The only thing that could improve is the ac in the bedrooms. It’s way too hot. The kitchen and living room was nice and cool. Otherwise, nice place to stay.

Wonderful

Everything was wonderful. Could use more hooks for wet towels and bathing suit’s. If you want your sheets changed you might have to ask. But nothing bothered us. The location was just what it said the restaurants and beach were amazing! Everyone was friendly! We really enjoyed our time! I would stay at Tropical Breeze again.

The are is nice and everything is walking distance, the pool is far away, the air conditioning is set on high by the resort so is very uncomfortable. The bed is not comfortable and the sofa bed is old and uncomfortable too.

We did not stay at this property. The storm that had passed through caused flooding and issues for us to travel so we were unable to go to the resort. We weren't able to get a refund or a rebooking either due to the weather issues.

MUST READ!!!!!
This was one of the most expensive rentals in the siesta key area. My thought was that it must be worth it. Unfortunately this was not the case.
Let’s start with the location. What their website did not disclose is that the cottages are all spread around. Some were near the beach and some were not. The cottages themselves varied upgrades. Our cottage was completely our dates. The mattresses were so worn we felt that we were sleeping in another persons. Mold. The couches had no springs in them and the pull out the worse out of it all. Although our cottage was meant for four people we were not provided with utensils, plates, and cups to accommodate.
As for services there was none. We had to go to the main office each day and ask for cleaning. Some times cleaning came sometimes it didn’t. We had to get clean towels ourselves each day from the main office. Which appeared to be an inconvenience for the staff.
We happened to have part of our stay during the tropical depression. At no point did the staff call or come around to check on us or to ask if we needed anything and if our cottage was okay. The ceiling in our cottage started to leak during the storm. Oh and not o e person told us that the street we were staying on floods. We were holding our breath that our rental car stayed dry.
If you are charging top dollar then the amenities and services should match. I would not recommend this resort until they update their cottages.

We planned a 7 day vacation with another family. My family included 2 adults and 4 kids. We were not satisfied with our stay. Room service was only provided the first night, and on two other days, only towels were exchanged and garbage was collected. Nothing was ever left on the beds, so there was no reason they could not make the beds. We did not know our vacation stay would consist of dealing with a hurricane. During the storm, no one checked on us or offered assistance. I had to do laundry myself with my own supplies, as many towels were used to soak up water from a leaking ceiling. Our cars were stuck due to the flooding on by room 134, and no one suggested relocating them to a more accessible area. The pool gates remained locked even after the storm by our 318 room. The electricity was out for a lengthy amount time at our place so we wanted to switch rooms. I called the main number and requested to be transferred to the front desk but did not receive a call back. I also texted to request a room change and made several calls with no response. After enduring extreme heat and losing food from the refrigerator and freezer, we finally reached the front desk, only to find a staff member eating at her computer. We then moved to a new room, which also had a leak. Given the significant amount we spent on our stay and the numerous issues we faced, I felt a partial refund was warranted. Front desk was aware of my complaints which was told that a manager would call me and never did.

Distance to the beach, we stayed at one of their most expensive units and it was the farthest to the beach- canal road, more than 3 blocks to the beach. They do have 1 bedroom units closer to the beach. Housekeeping does not make the beds, nor cleans anything once you check in. They come and ask if you need anything, offer towels and take out the garbage, thats it! Not worth the $180 for 3 days stay for hotel service, no service was given to us. The bathroom has heavy water stains in the tile. The AC needs a code to change the temperature, i felt hot most of the time in the bedrooms. They do have ceiling fans. This unit did not offer, paper towel, nor cooking skillet, only 2 pots. They do have a washer and drier but there is no detergent like all the other condos we have stayed in other locations. We purchased our own, so prepare to do the same thing if you want to wash your bathing suits. We tried to contact the front desk on a Saturday at 4pm, no answer; left a message and they never called back. They do have a pool for the 4 units where we stayed, right off the back door, barbecue grills, if you want to use grill, that was nice. I am sure you can find better options than this location for the rate we paid.

This hotel is in a prime location, near the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. It is also very convenient to have a full kitchen and a grocery store close by. The pool was small but it wasn't crowded and the hot tub is a nice bonus. Now, the furniture is outdated and the toilet was leaking but we were able to deal with it without having to report it. The room felt a bit small, but it's nice to have a separate living/dining area and the bed was very comfortable. Overall very quiet too and we could leave our towels and swimming suits outside to dry without anything being stolen. I would definitely book it again and recommend it.

The property was in a great location and easy access to many venues including the Beach which was great. The biggest issue from an opportunity standpoint was the delay in the check in process. I arrived at 11:30am and asked about checking in and was told my room wasn't ready which was understandable. After spending a couple of hours in the area i checked again, still not ready with 3 associates hanging out in office area. Again was told the room wasn't ready. I saw no sense of urgency by the staff to get the room ready and finally got the room key at 4pm. Very poor customer service that day. The rest of the week was fine.

This was our second time staying here. We love the location and how everything is within walking distance. The sleeper sofa was fine for our 8 year old, but doubtful any adult could get a good night sleep on it. The bathroom is really small, but otherwise nice, and the water pressure was great. Loved being able to walk across the street to the beach during the day , come back to freshen up and then walk about 5 minutes to the village for food, then come back and take a dip in the pool. It’s wonderful being able to park right in front of the cottage and not have to get in the car again until check out. Perfect for a Long beach weekend. This has become our go to place to stay in Siesta Key.
