There was a used sanitary pad in trash. Tv wouldn't cut off had to unplug it. The remote didnt work. Room allowed outside noise alot more than the normal hotels. Room decor was nice. But you can hear everything 2am in the morning. After the pool party was over there was alot of noise that continued thur the night. I wont be returning to this hotel.

The location of the hotel is pretty convenient and the staff is great. I booked a room with a partial ocean view and wasn’t even able to see the ocean at all, not a big deal though.
On one of the days, they were testing the emergency alarms from 10am until 4pm. Super annoying.
However, when you check-in they require you to pay a $45 (plus tax) “Destination Fee” per guest that covers a cup of coffee, “beach candy” at a resort 20 minutes away, wifi, bike rentals, and a complementary drink, among other unnecessary amenities. When we went to get our complementary drink at the pool we were given an 8oz plastic cup of beer and then we were told that if we wanted to use the cabana’s we need to pay ANOTHER $50 and make a reservation even though no one was sitting in them. In the morning around 8:30am we were informed that the complimentary coffee had run out.
Not only were the PAID amenities subpar, there is only one ice machine and one microwave for 19 floors, the coffee maker in the room only came with one cup, there were only 3 sets of towels for a 4 person bedroom, and the carpet and curtains in our room had red stains on them.
We needed a late check out due to a flight delay and we received different information from each employee. One of them claimed that it was $30 an hour after check out, one of them claimed it was a day rate if we needed to check out past 2pm, and another requested that we ask a different employee the next day.
Honestly, would not stay here again.

The photos online are accurate, and the front desk was excellent until the day I checked out (not as friendly)
Pros:
-Nice and clean room.
-Nice perks while staying at Romer.
-I recommend checking their official website for better offers/deals.
-Somewhat close to Waikiki Beach and shops.
-Easy front spot for Lyft/Uber to pick up and drop off.
Cons:
-Super loud and busy street.
-If there are loud neighbors, you can hear them from their room inside yours.
I loved having the local drivers tell me the hotel's history as well. Romer did a great job at renovating the place. I appreciated the A/C the most, haha

I booked a staycation at Romer for my birthday, and I was really looking forward to this rare opportunity to treat myself. Upon check-in, I was warmly greeted by Kerri-Ann, whose exceptional customer service made me feel incredibly welcomed. I'm so grateful for her!
I also want to give a shoutout to Sarah at the pool, who made my poolside experience truly memorable. She is such a gem. I’ve been raving about it to all my friends on the island!
The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. I especially appreciated the complimentary water in reusable containers, which shows a commitment to reducing plastic waste and caring for our beautiful land.
While everything was nearly perfect, I am currently working through a minor billing issue. I don’t want this to overshadow my overall experience. Depending on how this situation is resolved, I may update this review to provide transparency for future customers.
I have reached out to management regarding my situation, and while I'm not entirely pleased with how it has been handled so far, I am hopeful that Romer-Ambassador genuinely cares about their customers and will take the necessary steps to resolve this issue. With so many options available, I trust they understand the importance of maintaining their brand’s reputation.

Our room was very nice and the views.. amazing! Customer service was SO accommodating and very helpful with ideas on where to eat in the area. All the staff including the the valets were very cool people. Only note is the wind noise we can hear by the door, but generally we didn't hear it when the TV was on. We had an amazing stay!

It is kind of not worth it

The aesthetic/design of the rooms, lobby. property etc. was excellent. Down to the the products in bathrooms.
Limited menu options.. and strange concierge hours.
Key cards weren’t working well, that was an inconvenience, that we had to deal with more than once.

What I didn’t like about this property is that they didn’t have a continental breakfast for one, any coffee or anything that was provided you had to pay extra for. The room that I had had not been vacuumed. There was hair in the shower from the previous guest, all times of night you can hear people going in and out of their rooms because the doors are so flimsy that they slam each time they’re closed basically the room amount was overpriced for this property. The Holiday Inn express across the street was actually better than this hotel. The staff was great , but they need to do a little more upgrades and stop charging extra for everything else

The Wi-Fi was unavailable and took half a day to be fixed, so I couldn't do my work during that time.

The room was amazing, i wish they had breakfast included with the price you pay for the stay.

Our family of four had a wonderful time! We needed a place to stay for one night and were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the property is. The beds were very extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff was great and we enjoyed getting complimentary Icecream and cocktails at happy hour. We were able to walk everywhere without need of a vehicle. Would stay here again!
