Service was not good, took 2 days to just get a knife for our villa, staff didn’t do the best cleaning, we asked for help on how to work the safe, no one ever showed up. The staff were bringing other guests to our private villa to take pictures which scared my young niece as she was changing in her room and random people walked by her bedroom. Meal service is so slow, they don’t have the best chefs. The only thing that made things better is the refund we got for the awful service

Limited dining options and closed too early

My room was infested with roaches. Three days in a row i will see roaches in my bed sheets and bed head and restroom. I expressed this at the reception and management did nothing. Last night was scary as i saw two in my bed scrolling my feet when i woke up at 5:30 am and decided to leave the room. went to reception on PJs and they had me there for three hours in my PJs crying. The gust actually helped me. I ended up sleeping showering at another guest room (strangers). Guests who saw me at reception were concerned and helped me. The Hotel did nothing; just saying I am sorry did not solve the matter. Reception promised another room and i waited for three hours crying at reception with no room. Thanks to the other guests who helped me. Also, when the gusts helped me , the reception staff did not even care to help me with the luggage and i had to take all my belongings by myself and the other guests helped. Staff said that their hands were tight as management has the last say. Management was nowhere to be found. A Manager should always be on the floor in hotels for the safety of the guests. Unacceptable. manager, was never at the premise and obviously careless with the staff and guests.

The nature is excellent. The food is below average.
The activity stuff are excellent such as Dean, very much enjoying learning from him.

Poorly maintained, swimming pool was dirty. Water slide wasn’t smooth enough to be slid on, my child was walking down on the slide to reach the pool.
Staff are wonderful. The stay isn’t worth the price. The area around the resort is excellent with views.

The Edgewater Villa was beautiful, loved seeing the stars at night over the water! The bar/cafe along the water was delightful with little kitties running around - and good food and drinks! The dinner we signed up for was very delicious. The spa was incredible! My most favorite- I loved listening to the waterfall!
Only two things I would say need improvement -
1) continental breakfast options, it was sufficient but not spectacular. The a la carte menu was just ok.
2) in the villa, the A/C unit upstairs is directly over the head of the head - dripping on your head or pillow! That was not pleasant.
I would stay here again!
Vinaka!

The place was awesome for someone who likes to relax and detach from the hassle and buzzes, however, my only concern is the safety of you walking around even at the front of the suit where my family stayed a coconut fruit was falling every day, I think each coconut tree, fruits should be removed for everybody safety. The rest were cool. Friendly staff and nice fresh food.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Koro Sun Resort. The staff are so friendly, always greeting us with smiles (and first name basis after only a few days). They went out of their way to make sure our needs are being met.
As far as the property is concerned, we stayed in EB4 (bure looking over the water (amazing view and sunsets).
There were great excursions available but we got our most enjoyment from hiking into the rain forest, snorkeling and paddle boarding every day. Just an overall great vacation.

The best part of this property are the staff. They have great staff all very friendly and helpful. I hope the management team realizes how lucky they are to have such good staff!

We loved staying next to the water in our own private burre and having the ability to snorkel crystal clear water from our front door. The propery is beautiful. So many fun excursions and activities. The staff is what made the place...you felt accepted as family and was treated as such!

My husband and I loved our stay here. We chose Koro Sun so we could have easy access to a dice shop. ALL of the staff was great. The room was kept super clean. The dive staf was professional and friendly and kept us safe. The food was ok. We got the breakfast /dinner meal plan with an appetizer at the bar for lunch. We enjoyed the breakfast the most. The dinner and bar food was ok. Servings were very large. I had a hard time finishing the 3-course meals. FYI, the continental breakfast does include hot food if you are considering that. I was not aware of that when we chose the meal plan. This resort is not walkable. If you are looking to be able to walk to other restaurants, etc., this is not a great option.

Our stat was five star. The staff was very accommodating and very personable. The only negative thing I would say about the property is that there is no Wi-Fi other than in the reception area. Even though the description list Wi-Fi available sometimes it is never available in the rooms.

We really enjoyed our private coastal bure. We didn't want to leave the room and when we did we enjoyed diving, poolside drinks and several different dining options. We would stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our holiday here. If your looking for your standard 4-5 star experience this property isn't for you but if you really want to feel like you are getting the Fiji experience this is property is an excellent choice. The staff was amazing very friendly especially towards kids. Every staff member remembered my child's name and said hi making them feel really special. The food was very good and it was really great that they catered to dietary requirements (there was always a vegan option on the menu and it was always different). We did use the kids club a little bit, while everyone was lovely and the offerings were great I didn't feel comfortable leaving my little one alone for long as I didn't feel like the attention I would like was given to the kids. I did take advantage of the spa that is right next to a waterfall. The actual massage was good but what made it amazing was the sounds of nature that you heard during the massage. The quality of the room were average and met our needs. One of the disadvantage of the hotel if traveling with kids is that the amazing pool and beach area by the sea is an adults only section. Which is great if you are not traveling with kids but a disadvantage if you are. They did have a lot of activities throughout the day for all ages which made it easy to not have to plan anything advance and still get to do a lot. All and all I would recommend this property and very happily go back.

The pictures online are from 2018. This place is split across a main road - the swim up bar is closed. Pool is small and not heated - the other is closed and looks gross. There’s only two places to eat with very limited menu and the food is disgusting. We should have stayed 3 nights but barely lasted 1. Stay far away.

Amazing and huge hotel area with golf course, pond with lotuses, lush tropical botanical garden and more.
Breakfast is good
Do not try bar cocktails, they are lousy !

6.0 / 10.0
The property was beautiful , but the amenities lacked big time. Had golf, but no balls, had disc golf, but no discs, had bicycles, but little air in the tires, how kayaks, but limited hours or people to provide them as water levels impacted usage. Had snorkel equipment but they were worn out and had limited times and people to provide them. Although the property did have many amino ties, they were of limited to no availability. The tours were actually only transportation to places with no information provided at excessive prices. The people were wonderful at the property and the property was beautiful. If your looking for a place to just hang out for a few days it’s very nice

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at Koro Sun. Kids are 12 and 14. We stayed for 5 days in a 2 bedroom bure and signed up for the full board meal plan. We took advantage of a couple of the excursions - Salt Lake Kayak and the Waterfall Tour. I had 2 massages and the rest of my family went SCUBA diving. There were a lot of included activities that we enjoyed as well - cultural show, cooking demo, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, pools, and exploring the tide pools.
The staff are incredible and made the whole experience really special. The food was excellent, accommodations very comfortable, property is beautiful, and it was a really good value.

We stayed in Edgewater Villa 4 for 5 nights and the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more stunning in person. The windows had fly screens so we were able to turn off the air conditioning and enjoy the cool breeze while we slept in huge & comfortable bed. I had the room decorated for my partner’s birthday, he was very surprised and it made the stay even more special. While it rained for most of our stay and water activities cancelled for safety, we still enjoyed our time swimming, snorkeling and playing games in the main reception area. We also had a 90 min couples massage at the rainforest spa and it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had.
It stopped raining on our last day so we were able to do a kayak tour of salt lake which had some of the best views on the island - wear your swimmers as there’s a pontoon mid-tour and you can jump in the lake.
One of the highlights was the food & service. Traveling as vegans can be tricky on a resort but Koro Sun is the most vegan friendly resort we’ve visited. We purchased the full board meal plan and it was worth it - we left very full. Unlike other resorts where you have 2-3 options your entire stay, Koro Sun offers 2-4 options per day (not all curries, great variety of cuisines), changing daily, so you’re not eating the same thing all the time. I wish all resorts did this.
Fantastic stay, thank you to the lovely staff at Koro Sun.

Poor condition, lots of insects in the room. Got badly stang by the flys in the room at night which caused a skin allergy that ruined my vacation.
Air-condition in the room is super loud, so we had to turn it off in the night in order to sleep, however due hot temperatures in Fiji, the sleep at night was not well.
There was also no WiFi in the room, KSR Wi-Fi signal is completely lost in my room so we ended staying in the lobby for most of the time in order to use the internet.
Breakfast was awful as well. Very limited food choices, only protein source is boiled eggs and hams with very high sodium content. Very crap breakfast.
Overall, Koro sun resort isn’t a great option to stay. Do not recommend.

This stay was amazing and I really enjoyed it. Definitely good value for what you get. I stayed in an Edgewater bura that had a ladder down into the water which really was nice for venturing out into the reef.
I'm not usually one for a resort, but I would return here again. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was really top notch. Some reviews complained about reserving meals ahead of time, but when you're there it makes sense since they get fresh food from the market to reduce food waste. With various activities they can have meals ready for you too, which helped when I went spearfishing one night and was running late.
If you're debating whether to travel with snorkeling or diving equipment, I would suggest bringing what you can. The snorkels and fins must be returned to the hotel by 5pm and were decent quality but could be better. The dive shop has their own equipment that could use an update, but is a nice operation and I recommend going on some dives.
They have pickleball equipment if you're a fan.

We stayed in the edge water pool bure at Koro Sun and it was absolutely amazing. The room was very nice and the view and having the ocean right off the balcony was absolutely amazing. The staff was very kind to us our entire stay and we loved everyone that we met here. We didn’t mind the fact that you had to preorder dinner as the food was delicious every single night that we stayed! Great activities to do at and around the resort made for a very wonderful trip, would recommend!

Korosun is an absolute Paradise. I spent 10 days there and each day was full of activities provided by the resort. The staff was incredible, and very kind and hospitable.
