Here's the revised version of your review: --- I had an unforgettable stay at this stunning hotel, which is not only a historical landmark but also a true architectural gem. The beauty of the building is breathtaking, and every corner reflects elegance and charm. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the environment was simply beautiful, with a magnificent view overlooking the Perfume river. The service here is simply outstanding—every staff member was exceptionally attentive and kind, always quick to respond to any request. Overall, this hotel exceeded all of my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I look forward to returning in the future!

The Azerai La Residence Hue was a great option for a first time visitor to Hue. I had a room overlooking the Huong (Perfume) River and it offered a view of the Imperial City’s central bastion as well. It was located across the street from the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the high school he attended while his family lived in Hue. The hotel had amazing staff who were able to help with anything you might need. The restaurant was great and offered a river view as well. And they offered free bike rental, if you wanted to explore the city by scooter. It was great and it made my stay in Hue feel like home!

Like stepping back in time to colonial French times. Beautiful hotel and very quiet. Convenient for the sights of Hue. Only one night here but wished we’d had longer.

The BEST hotel in Hue.The location,the old world charming through out the hotel,the all super friendly staffs,the nice restaurant are unforgettable.There was a technical problem with our room.Although we were upsetted, we fully understand that it wasn't anyone's fault.But Ms.Tran Thi Minh Tam took extra care of us.She's a magician who turned an upsetted beginning into an unforgettable happy ending.She and her team made us regret that our stay was too short.And want to stay at more Azerai hotels.

Beautiful property in a great location overlooking the Perfume River. If I had one gripe it would be the lack of storage in the bedroom, aside from a small wardrobe with 5 coat hangers, there’s nothing. Aside from that it’s a gorgeous hotel in all aspects with a great pool area. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Room was great. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Well maintained property with a lot of charm. Excellent breakfast, and restaurant. Service is exceptional, especially Ms. Nguyet, customer service, Ms. Mơ, restaurant, Mr. Anh reception, and the very helpful woman (sorry, I forgot her name) from reception who helped us book train tickets and check on some scheduling changes at our next destination. It was also a special anniversary, and La Residence helped to make it so. Thank you all!

Beautiful property and room. Former French Governor’s residence in Vietnam. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Pool looked amazing although we didn’t swim with the cool and cloudy weather.

Hue is an amazing city not to be by missed in any trip to Vietnam. The Residence Azarai was truly exceptional. Beauty and comfort combined with h the best service we have ever had in any hotel in the world. Everybody was going out of its way to help, assist and make our stay truly exceptional : porganizing amazing tours, scheduling transportation and reserving on great restaurants. Two individuals were particularly helpful : Lam, the Rooms Manager and Moon, the Client service Manger. Nobody gets better than them in the hotel business !! Bravo !

The hotel is in excellent location- right next to walking strip along the Perfume River. Oue Expedia reservations cane with free upgrade to room to. River view with Balcony. It was great. Staff is super friendly. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. And they decided the room and surprised my wife with a bouquet of a dozen roses and a cake

My friend and I had an amazing stay at the Azerai. Everything was perfect. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff are so helpful and nice. My friend went to the spa and loved it (it’s pricey for Vietnam but he said it was worth it). There is a very nice pool and gym as well. I highly recommend staying at the Azerai!

This property oversells itself as 5 star. It is more like 4 star. Rooms are small. We also booked two rooms with 2 queens for family. These rooms had two single beds not two queens. False advertising. Spa massage is excellent and food is good although can get boring if you stay many days. The view of the river is good but view is hindered by trees. The hotel could do a better job of using the outdoor area.

Everything was perfect in and around hotel. Next to Perfume River promenade so morning/evening strolling lovely. Walkable to Citadel. Highly recommend and definitely stay again and again!

I find my entire short stay at the hotel very warm and memorable! Throughout the entire time we we're there, we had received services that were outstanding but truly genuine from all the staffs that we encountered from the Front desk manager Tam, to Khanh and another young lady at reception who went out of their ways to make us felt at home from simple thing like trying to get us the kind of tea I wanted to buy ! Restaurant staffs who served us dinner also were very attentive and helpful! The hotel has been newly renovated since we last stayed. It's Azerai now and for sure it has lived up to its name! The room design's still faithfully art deco as the entire historical building first built by the French! It's spacious and tastefully decorated! The food was excellent too ! I have nothing but praise for this hotel!

The property itself was lovely as was the staff. We ran into a wedding reception that took over the pool area for two days. We also had just come from a hotel in Hoi-An that just did everything as well but for 35% less. We would still definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing. I became sick during the trip and one of the staff walked my husband to the pharmacy and helped him order medicine for me. Then sent complimentary ginger tea up to the room for me. They couldn’t have been more gracious and welcoming.

This was a marvellous choice of hotel in an excellent location by the Perfume River. Often had a drink - in this case a Singapore sling - in their stylish bar, a delight. Bedroom beautifully restored. The art deco design : I began to to expect David Suchet as Hercule Poirot to turn up. This was in total a real pleasure and I will go back, not least to savour the sights of Hue again. Sorry not to have tried the pool.
