Check in was a little messed up as our GPS took us in the back way. Check in was in a totally different hotel or different building, I am not sure which. The property was very confusing until you got use to which way to go.
The room we stayed in was old and dated. There was lots of hair in the bathtub and a HUGE bug that we had never seen before.
Bed was super comfortable.
The views from the restaurant were stunnng. The food was ok. But in all fairness they were closing this weekend for the season. So they were out of some popular choices.
Staff were great.
Would we stay again. Maybe.

It was a bed. Nothing too special. Shower was difficult to operate, coffee was bad and had to walk to the main hotel for water. The room was very dated but bed was comfortable which was the main goal I suppose.

Wonderful room with a lovely balcony to sit and relax. The room was clean and well kept. The bathroom was tiny but it was comfortable. I would certainly stay here again

Decent stay. Comfortable but small bathroom and outdated.

Older motel. Somewhat worn but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very small.
2.0
The property itself needs to be updated. The rooms are very old… carpet, shower, beds etc.
The one benefit is that it is within walking distance to town, only if you can walk a mile comfortably.
The staff is nice, but for the price I would not consider staying here again.

Our stay was perfect. Our room was comfortable and the view was great. The hot tub was perfect. The location was perfect, very close but secluded!

Stayed a week in the ocean view room 66. Great views, pretty quiet. Lovely maid service with fresh towels daily❤️ room was abit dated, but very spacious. Convenient to bar harbor and Acadia ! Hotel reception was very nice and helpful!

Finding the check-in location was kind of tough. However, after that it was all great! Free, short shuttle ride to town is super convenient. Sun rises was awesome as seen right from out small balcony.

Beautiful property! Conveniently located to Acadia, and walkable to town. Shuttle is so helpful too. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Fabulous piano player in the great room was magical. View from balcony very peaceful

Bathroom floors and toilet paper stand were filthy. Bedroom was dirty, had cobwebs, dust and floors needed vacuuming. We requested that the room not be disturbed with placard on door and it was removed twice, and the room was entered.

Very convenient to shuttle for downtown Bar Harbor
Amenities available next door at other properties

The room was nice and big for 2 people & our dog. Very convenient to get the free bus outside our door to go downtown! Close to hiking trails in Acadia. Staff was very helpful & friendly. We would stay here again!

Evening bar and lounge with piano player was fantastic.

Decent place to stay. Coffee is generally terrible at the offfice.

Out of all the amazing options in the downtown Bar Harbor area, this is not one I would recommend. For the price, it was very disappointing. There were blood stains on our carpet, the bathroom was dirty, there were clumps of hair in the shower, and the doors were paper thin so you could hear everything in the room next door. The only plus was that we were walking distance to downtown but there are other options I would highly consider over this one for their location, amenities, and cleanliness.

I highly recommend Wonder View Inn, it was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in and the indoor pool was amazing.

Loved our star ay Wonder View. It shares a property with Bluenose Inn which is much fancier but the best part is that you still get to use all the amenities that the inn has! Pool, free coffee/tea, lounge with live piano etc. Staff were very friendly and it is so close to the Acadia National park! Room was clean and comfy. Would definitely stay again

Great location to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

Large property super convenient to Bar Harbor's main strip, with a free bus service pickup right on site. The room was somewhat awkwardly laid out but it met our needs - and our primary purpose to be in Acadia and Bar Harbor!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Such a great place! Has so many amenities, a free shuttle into downtown that is super easy to use. Hotel staff and transportation staff are eager to answer all questions and are friendly. Wonderview is also walking distance to downtown! This is a beautiful place to explore! It was so clean and the onsite restaurant was amazing too! Can’t wait to come back!

This is a great location with a back way into Acadia; avoiding the main traffic. But it is walkable to the downtown - 15 minute! Checkin is a little confusing because this hotel has been gobbled up by a higher end hotel and you check in there instead at the hotel itself. But there are signs to guide you.
Being gobbled up isnt bad- they give you access to some nice amenities.
The only caution is the driveways you need to travel through are one lane, but traffic is light on the property.
The stay was quiet and the proximity to the park was fantastic. I'd stay again when in the area.

Great spot. You can take a free bus from downtown to the Hotel. The hotel associated with Wonder Inn which is named Bluenose has a piano player named Bill Trowel who is self taught and an amazing.
6.0
The Wonder View had a nice, yet older room. This motel seems to be the overflow from the newer motel beside it. There is no view. It may have been the place to stay 30 years ago but the time has passed. They are building a new section beside the Bluenose. Stay there!

The public transportation shuttles were always on time and made planning evenings out easy. Very clean and staff was helpful and friendly. The piano bar was great and enjoyed night cap listening.

This is truly a 2 star. Appears to be very little investment made to modernize. Felt a bit campy w the doors that don’t have a tight seal, the poor lighting, and the old fashioned bathroom w insufficient cabinetry or table to place toiletries. But it met our needs! Beds were comfortable. A/c worked great. Nice outdoor areas. The service at the Looking Glass was painfully slow. But the food was good. Overpriced, but good enough. Amazing view! Can’t beat that view. I’d stay here again because it did have so many features that elevated the experience. Bar w incredibly talented piano player to end the night was so entertaining. Wonderful pool and hot tub. If you aren’t looking for a 5 star and want a more affordable option, this was spot on. Loved the transportation that can every 30 minutes into Bar Harbor. Loved the front desk staff. So kind and pleasant. I’d stay again and recommend it. A few aesthetic investments and this could easily be a 3 star.

The room was huge!!! The view was beautiful. The great room with the piano player was a lovely way to spend the evening. The location was perfect.
