Overall, we had a pleasant stay. My children enjoyed the free rides on the carousel & swimming in the resort’s pool. The only disappointment we have was the limited choices of food/restaurants available; there was only one or two restaurants that were open & the prices were ridiculous. Most of the guests ended up going across the road to Seico & 711 to buy microwave meals. We would consider coming back if the food situation improves.

Generally pleasant stay, room is spacious and clean. The hotel is part of an amusement park complex, so there are many activities.
8.0
A fantastic resort with everything to keep you entertained. Unfortunately, there was a fire in our building and we had to evacuate. The hotel relocated us 5 hours later, but it ruined most of our stay that day.

Good place to take a rest

Friendly and helpful

Convenient location at the base of West Mt. Thats what you're really paying for.
Otherwise, like other snow resorts, you're paying inflated dining prices. Dining options are limited to certain times.
Facilities are mostly nice, however, it could be done up to freshen up the resort.
Staff are helpful when approached. Most speak enough english to get you by.

The Onsen was very nice, and there were lots of good and affordable food options. The staff wasn't very helpful in getting a taxi and we basically had to do it on our own. At first I was skeptical of the ski locker system, but it actually worked out well. We'd like to return.

Ski-in walk-out. Very large onsen

There should be more fast food shops that open till 8pm

Fantastic location and many options for dining after a day skiing, but the hotel feels a bit antiquated and in need of renovation.
5.0
Very well equipped ski resort.
Food are not bad, price is ok with the current exchange rate.
Staffs are generally friendly. But it doesn’t allow non ski school beginner to use the magic carpet close to north building. A little bit inconvenient.

Great place for family. Very limited eating places so please make your reservations ahead of time.

The rooms are old and amenities dated. Staff services were good.

Choose this hotel because the ski slope is just outside of the hotel. Third time staying in this hotel.
Most restaurants close early so need to plan your activities well.

Great Resort. Lovely Onsen bath after skiing.

A wonderful ski resort and while the hotel is aging it has a certain "retro-charm". Strictness on Breakfast opening time s was not appreciated as this was published as 09.30 and actually admission is refused after 09.10 Hrs. Also nothing in the hotels is open after 9.30 PM. Restuarants etc. all close. Vending machines are available, but sociable late hours are not at this place and some outside options do exist withing walking.
Overall memorable stay in this beautiful region.

Booked Rusutsu Resort fo3 3 nights in total, for a skiing holiday. Great ski facilities and post-skiing Onsen. The meal options and shopping are lacking, but the skiing facilities more than made up for the hotel's shortfalls.

The Onsen was amazing!

Accessible directly to ski fields and onsen was amazing.

The summer was way better than winter. The shortage of cleaning staff caused the cleaning service to be no up to standard at all. No other complaints except cleaning was bad.

Paid a lot of money to stay at the property but it was not worth it. Had to wait at the designated restaurant and queue every night for dinner, somtimes up to 90 minutes plus. Also, had to wait in queue for breakfast. The one time that i asked for my room to be cleaned it was not done by 1600 so we emptied the rubbish and changed the wet towels ourselves. I expect better service and facilities for $1000 aud per night, and have decided to not stay here again.

Excellent resort with a NEW open-air onsen (hot spring bath) with great views of the mountain. Large variety of restaurants, shops, and services make this a great place to stay for several days.

Took the free shuttle bus near Sapporo station to Rusutsu. Note the shuttle bus to/from Chitose Airport is not free. The hotel room is clean, the staff speak good English and were very helpful, and the family/beginner slope was very long but a bit steeper at the top. Ample locker facilities. Cheap food options however, are a bit lacking besides some fast food and a cafeteria. Restaurants are very expensive and some need prior reservation.

Always consistent, good food, quiet and relaxing in the evenings, few crowds on weekdays, excellent staff. Ive been coming here in winter for the last 5 years at least, always a pleasure.

This was my 2nd stay within a month, please expect there are tons of high school students stay in this hotel and have a busy trial especially in green trial. Over 50 students in line for chairlift and looping infinity. Apart from this, it is great ski in out resort.

absolutely fab! - much better than tomamu where we went last year. no queues anywhere and the slopes were so wide, no chance of bumping into anyone and for beginners loads of different slopes to try out. my 10 yr old loved the ski classes which were v reasonable price, altho there are no group classes for adults and the private one to one was abit expensive. otherwise fab, even my hub who didnt ski was not bored as loads to do and the views from the café in the hotel lobby was beautiful!- I am already booking for next xmas.

Nice stay. The hotel is old and would benefit from a refurbishment. One complaint is the fact that breakfast is only available from 0600 till 0930 and thereafter there is only a cafe which serves quiche. For such a resort, also considering the daily price tag, it’s outrageous there isn’t a good restaurant open 24/7.
