Very good

GREAT LOCATION. Can't beat it. Very friendly staff. Stored my luggage for 2 days while visiting Machu Picchu. Beautiful decor. Very safe. Packed breakfast for me also.

The location for this property is the best, rooms are a little small but to be honest you only sleep and shower there's so much to do in Cusco! Tours will pick you up early. A lot of restaurants, bars, coffe shops, souvenir stores around and right in the main plaza.
Staff was amazing. Zoila did our check in and she was very helpful. They have tea and coffee in the lobby as a courtesy abd everything you need just by asking.

Very uncomfortable, the beds are really hard and the space in the rooms is very tight. We stayed in room 304 and we had to literally seat on the bed to be able to open the bathroom door. The space was very tight! We had booked for 3 nights and we checked out on the first night. We’re NEVER returning! The staff was very friendly but what you see in the pictures does not have an accurate description. Their dining room is on the basement with no windows, the table you see on the pictures is their superior triple room with balcony view, not their cafeteria/dining room.

Stayed here several times over the course of a couple of weeks in and around Cusco. Central, lovely friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, very clean, plenty of hot water 24/7 The standard double was fine (we had 1 night in this room type) but for other nights we found it worth paying a little extra for the Panoramic Suite which had loads of space, great while on an extended stay, a huge walk in shower which was great when returning from jungle trips and treks, and quite simply the best view in Cusco. The Plaza de Armas is lively though, especially in June, so expect some noise but grandstand views of all the parades and dance events. We didn't find the noise to be to much though and in fact during our stay the french doors onto the balcony were upgraded which gave a peaceful night's sleep even at the height of the Corpus Christ week celebrations

Room is very small for the price.

The best thing about this property is that it is right in front of the main square in Cusco. Get the room with a view to the square. It has a balcony with awesome views.

This place is so charming! Beautiful facility, right on Plaza de Armas - easy access to everything tourists/visitors may need. We had a wonderful time on our visit to El Virrey.

The bed very comfortable. Hot water in the shower. Just in front of plaza the armas. Just a recommendation if your sleep is light use earplugs just for the front rooms. Because nightlife is wild.

We chose this property due to its location right in front of plaza de Armas.
The staff seemed a bit odd, and not very friendly.
Everything seemed tolerable until I got severely beaten by what seem to be bedbugs and fleas!!!
I immediately notified the staff, and they switched us to another room in the middle of the night, but I was leaving for a tour very early in the morning, and so I left that morning with my body covered invites, and when I came back, we simply decided to leave this dirty and old hotel! The staff cooperated as far as releasing us without having to pay for the stay, but did end up spending extra money in a doctor and medications as the bites were extremely uncomfortable. The hotel refused to help compensate for the inconvenient and helping perhaps pay for the medical expenses.
Please if you want to have a great time and not get bitten by nasty bugs please reconsider before booking El Virrey Boutique!!!!

It’s great place to stay and being a hub for exploring a Cusco and its surroundings. We stayed three nights here. It’s at the best location of the city-main square. All the restaurants are easily accessible. And tour companies are nearby so it’s easy to go for day tour. Before we left for Machu Picchu we left our big luggage in the hotel for two nights and they had no problem at all. We are grateful for that. It’s in the city center so we didn’t expect a big room. But actually it’s big enough for three of us and luggage our room doesn’t have a view of the square but I’m glad that. Because the square can get quite noisy during the day until late night (actually whole night). Heater and bathroom and shower everything works very well.

Great location, staff was accomodating and helpful. The location is really everything, you are right in the middle, travel around the area was easy. If you get lost just walk to the cathedral

The lady at the front desk was very reserved and quiet. I let her know we were celebrating our 12th anniversary and told her I was willing to pay for them to have chocolate covered strawberries with champagne and she never contacted me. They didn’t even leave us a happy anniversary note. Maybe I expected more from them because from previous hotels they were all and above making us feel welcome. The location is great but be prepared to hear the noise of cars and people all night.

The property is clean and staff is friendly, however since it is next to plaza de armas it is very noisy at all hours of the day and hard to sleep.

The only good thing about this property is its location.
1.5 / 5.0
Location is central and very close to the best restaurants, shopping and pick-up/drop-off point for tours. Room and bathroom are very small, tight corners, and internet in room is dismal. Buy your own data plan for full coverage. Breakfast service is nice. Server makes your fresh eggs to your liking. Front office staff are friendly and helpful. Overall fair value for money.

The staff are very friendly. We had a beautiful view of the Plaza de Armas during Christmas. Easy to walk to food, shops, and the historical section of Cusco. Wonderful stay for the whole family.

We were crazy about this hotel. It is a small hotel but very pretty inside. Gorgeous wood floors, very comfortable rooms. The best part was the balcony with an amazing view. Breakfast was a little underwhelming but sufficient. Staff was friendly. Would absolutely recommend.
