Awesome location and full view of Mt Fuji - staff was very professional and courteous

The best thing about this hotel is that you can view mt fuji from the balcony. The hotel is quite old but everything is clean and in good shape. The staff is very helpful guiding me to take the right bus to yamanaka and gave the best assistance they could. Food is generally ok and I will say the price speaks everything and its definitely for good value. A lot of Japanese stayed in the hotel during our stay as well.

Breakfast buffet is good. Staffs are courteous.

Friendly staff, clean, but the rooms are in bad condition with marked walls and an outdated feel. The furniture is at least 20 years old, the shower was disappointing, etc. For how much this hotel is charging per night it should be in better condition.

Big rooms, good view of mt fuji.
Staff was the most unhelpful, no customer service at all. They have a shuttle but will only allow you to use it once a day. Most of the time you have to catch a taxi if you are going out multiple times a day. Its the most inconvenient location to stay. Not worth every penny of the price you are paying. Even the best view of Mt fuji in your room would not compensate for the hassle of bad customer service and inconvenient location.

Facility is very old, I think because of the carpet that they have been using for a while, it made the hallway smell

Public bath is small but nice. Got the room at one end of the building so the view of Mt Fuji was partially blocked by some tall trees. Shuttle service to/from Kawaguchiko station was a plus. Breakfast buffet taste was ok, had most of the essentials. They did not fill up during the last hour though they would cook fresh when asked. Room had an air cleaner machine which was great.

We were so happy to choose this hotel for our Fuji trip. First up, it has unrivalled views of Fuji, across the forests and closer than any other hotel in the area, plus every room has a view and a balcony, the photos I have attached were taken from our balcony. We chose the room for 3 people which consisted of 2 good sized rooms each with 2 extra large single beds; a good bathroom, bar fridge, dining table and 4 chairs. We loved the fact that we were the only Australians in the hotel, especially after a week’s skiing in Nozawa where it seemed that EVERYONE was an Aussie. The hotel buffet breakfast was first class, the service was faultless with fabulous attention to detail. The onsen was really good and well equipped with towels, shampoo, moisturisers, hair-dryers... all very impressive. It’s not in the touristy lakeside area, but we loved all the surrounding restaurants and the shopping centre across the road. For a hotel that is definitely not in the top level price range, it ticked all our boxes and we are pretty fussy.

I got a free update when I checked it, it is quite big for two of us, it shd be a family room, and the view is excellent as Fujisan is just in front of our window, really awesome and close.
But the hotel is not very clean, we find a cockroach in the room once get in and have some unpleasure smell inside.
Limited choices of restaurant near the hotel, some are experience for us, but you can still find an 7-11 nearby.

From any room you can enjoy Mt.Fuji view in front of you, if all conditions meet (weather, humidity and so on).
This time unfortunately we could not enjoy the great view but that is nothing to do with the hotel services.
Hotel was good enough.

The hotel itself was a little older and could do with improvements but location, amenities and customer service more than made up for everything. I would rate the conditions 3 out of 5 stars but everything else 5 out of 5. I do travel a lot and do not right an reviews but wanted to write to let everyone know that the hospitality and customer service for this hotel was outstanding and what put this hotel far above others that I have stayed at

Japanese are 10-20 years behind on food/health education. Besides this everything was great. Beds a bit small, though Im a bit tall, my issues wont be many peoples issues. Great place if you want to trek Fuji early.

It's the most expensive hotel that I have ever spent but it's also the lowest CP ratio. Apart from the view of fijiyama, nothing else worth to stay. Old facility, and charge if you request a baby cot bed, poor soundproof (I can hear clearly the noise from other visitors and luggage.
