Nice spacious room with beautiful view of the sea. No kitchen but there was a small microwave. The bathroom was clean and had a big bathtub. Close drive to nearby cafe. Also a restaurant downstairs which we did not go to. If you like fishing, this is the place you should NOT miss. On the wharf deck it's a brilliant place for fishing and I caught three huge ones in 30min.

Very old-fashioned motel-style property - no changes to decor for at least 30 years. Our room was huge with a balcony on two sides - views were fabulous. Bathroom was also enormous with a corner whirlpool bath. Worth booking one of these corner rooms (207 or 307) if staying more than one night. No lift to upper floors. Free guest laundry

This is a great little place, the lady on check in was extremely helpful and efficient. The room was perfect for us and the view was to die for!

Great surprise, a spa and great views over the water. Spacious with the quaint feeling of the 1960's.

Cheap and cheerful but quite dated. Dining options in evening are very limited in the whole town. Very quiet, great view from balcony.

The views were spectacular from the room and although older the room was very clean and the property well maintained. Only issue would be the little heater struggled to warm the room.

The room was neat and tidy, electric blankets on the beds and heater in the room. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

What a treat! This hotel in Swansea, Tasmania, allows guests to use the on-site washer and dryer, which is a blessing when you’ve been travelling the island for several days! The room itself was clean, comfortable and functional. Checkin service was quick and we were grateful for the advice we received re local dining options etc. Try the Tasting Plate at Saltshaker Restaurant, just a short walk up from the hotel. If you can manage it, sunrise over the bay is nice!

No air condition in the room. Was feeling really hot with only a table top fan for 4 of us.

Check in was easy and the manager was great. She greet her customers and also provided options for dinner. At check out, she also prcide info around which part of the road to be careful. Loves to support small business.

The was only one place (RSL) to eat in Swansea.
The beds were old.

Staff were just so helpful. We were only staying 1 night but extended our stay. Out of all the hotels we stayed in on our holiday on Tassie this was by far the best.

This property is well situated but currently under renovations.
The staff are friendly, the rooms clean, there was a bath in our room which was great to soak in after a long drive.
The little things count, like washing powder in the room for free use of the washing machine and dryer, a listing of recommended places to eat, as well as a QR code for all the must sees in the area. Highly recommend this place to stay

I wasn't sure if the motel was going to be any good, but we wanted to stay in Swansea. When we checked in, we were told that we had been upgraded to room with water view. That was the start of what was a pleasant stay. We were only there one night. The weather was great, and the view was hard to leave. The room was spacious enough for us. We would have preferred a bigger fridge but that turned out to be the only negative. The staff we met were great.

We had a partial sea view room which had been recently renovated . The bathroom was wonderful and the room quiet and well appointed .
We ate at the on-site restaurant and enjoyed a great and tasty meal.
We also had wonderful coffee and pastries at a French patisserie in the Main Street . Unlike another establishment close by , it also serves locally caught fish .

The view from the room is very pretty, you can even watch the sunrise from the room. Everything you would need have been provided, it has all the cutlery needed and even has a coffee machine. There is also a laundry machine available although we didn’t get to use it. Reception was also very prompt in replying and very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed in room 207 - offered great views of Oyster Bay. This was a large family room with a v large balcony offering views on 2 sides. The room was a bit dated but the views and the overall amenities in room were great including a spa bath option and a microwave in room. The hotel is besides the Golf club, hardly 100 meters to the bus stop and near to restaurants such as Salt Shaker etc. Also, a coffee pod machine was there. Enjoyed the time in this room. The price paid compared to the views and amenities matched better than any other in Swansea.

Our room was very clean and well presented. We had a lovely view over the bay. Great for a stopover
