We stayed at the Famiana Green Villa and were upgraded to the Famiana Beach Resort and Spa. Both were great places to stay, the staff is very attentive and courteous and the rooms were clean. The Green Villa does not have a beach access, though the beach is a short walk from the hotel. Access to the beach is not hard to find, but the beach you will find is quite polluted with garbage. We were upgraded to the Famiana Beach Resort and Spa for our last two nights because we were told that the Green Villa was overbooked. We did not see many guests at either resort but definitely appreciated the upgrade as we got to enjoy an ocean view at the Beach resort. The staff at both these resorts were so friendly and catered to our every needs. This place is a short taxi ride away from fhe Night Market, has some dining options nearby and we overall enjoyed our stay in Phu Quoc.

Staff at reception are very helpful and efficient. Although can't speak much English, they will try to assist and help their guests.
Nice place to stay but a bit of walking distance to the main road. Along the way, there's some restaurants that serve Asian and western food. There's one that I hv been eating there a few times with my children as price reasonable, lots of varieties, fast serving but always full house. Servers are friendly but need to wait if u want to
eat there. Only setback is most restaurants got no aircond coz it's open air. Only fan and air cooler.

clean and affordable.
very good (but relatively expensive) restaurants and good massage shops around the hotel.
complimentary shuttle bus to the airport.
foods by room service were between okay and good.
but complimentary life jackets are old and broken.

We stayed at the beach house the kitchen area microwave and refrigerator was stinky and not cleaned so had to clean everything myself, but the location and the view from the house was amazing! Service was excellent, breakfast was decent. Thank you, will definitely stay again!

We stayed in the green villa with a private pool which was lovely... only thing is we had a two bedroom villa but the bedrooms are not connected... which when I booked it I thought they were connected which was abit of a hassle esp travelling with kids. But it wasn’t a huge issue... the grounds where the villas are situated are well kept and clean... staff are amazing and always willing to help. Need to grab a buggie to get to the main resort where the beach is but not a problem at all. Overall it was a lovely villa and the stay was fine for our short stay on the island.

Beatiful structure, spacious and clean room, excellent new pool. Definitely positive factors: amenties, beach bag, facilities of hotel, yoga classes😜. Beach of Famiana is really nice, same as garden area. Breakfast offers rich selection sweet, salt variety, fruits. It is possible also rent a motorcycle directly at reception. I believe that the area in front of hotel will be cleaned soon or its just under maintenance or something supposed to be constructed there. I want to believe so, because garbage on Phu Quoc is never missing unfortunately.

Private pool was super deep enough. Unlucky it was the rainy season I went the road to the hotel fm my villa wasn't great. It wasn't very new but ok

We really like this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The room was nice and the pool area was really pretty and a great area to relax. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. They provide a golf buggy shuttle from the Green Villa part to the main hotel on request even though it is about only a 5-7 minute walk. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area and the view of the sunset on the beach was really pretty. I would stay here again.

Nice location, easy access to the beach, quiet surroundings and especially very kind staffs. Everything was perfect for us at Famiana Resort.
Morning buffet was excellent and they willingly provided us with ride to the beach back and forth.
My friend fell down on the road and was needed some medicines, and they promptly brought us some medicines to our room in no time.
If I ever come back to Phu Quoc again, I have no doubt that I will stay at Famiana resort, especially in Green Villa zone where I stayed for a night.
Many thanks to the staff~!!!

We enjoyed our stay a lot and highly recommend this place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was great and the beach was nice, too!
The quietness, the cleanliness, everything was just perfect! They even offer one hour of free tennis, which was awesome. We would also like to mention the girl from the reception (her name was Oan, or Hoan... unfortunately I don't remember exactly), but she recommended us places to eat and helped us with planning our tour to the south. She does her job very well!
Thanks to the whole team of Famiana, everything was so lovely!

We stayed in a pool villa which was lovely and very relaxing, the breakfast restaurant was a 2 minute walk and provided a good start to the day. The pool area itself could be doing with more sunbeds around it as the majority of the beach beds are in the shade which I know people want, however I go to sunny places to sunbathe and avoid the shade. I've noticed a lot of comments concerning the building works in Phu Quoc, this appears to be the case regardless of which part of the island and by all accounts we weren't overly bothered by it but may be worth taking earplugs if noise affects you. I was very disappointed with the littering issue in Phu Quoc, there doesn't seem to be any recycling/waste facilities and rubbish is strewn everywhere causing rats and a pungent smell in the evenings. Overall we had a good time and made the most of our time away.

Good hotel. Our area was on the other side street from the beach which was ok since it took 2 mins to walk or u could call a transport. Was a really nice hotel. I was missing poolside pool or service. We booked a tour through the hotel that was very nice. Unfortunately no rain for a while made the waterfall place disappointing. I would recommend this place and I will try to come back

Lovely quiet location close to everything and plenty of taxis, atms, restaurants right on tap.
The rooms were lovely very comfy and clean.
Negatives: breakfast was pretty rank as we're the breakfast staff.
Warm food wasn't kept warm, loads of flys. The Juice was permanently empty and looked like the tanks needed a thorough clean.
The mini bar wasn't refreshed.
There was no little bar or vending machine on site to grab a cold drink or snack.

This is a big step down from the Famiana beach resort. The room is smaller with OK bed. We found bugs in the room. The crickets on the outside of the room were noisy at night to the point that we can’t sleep. Lucky we just stay one night at this place.

Vacation in Phu Quoc
It was beyond my expectation. Even though the neighborhood (and the island in general) is not as clean as you wish to be, but:
- The rooms are very clean, the breakfast buffet offers a list of western and regional foods.
- Exotic nature and a lot of fruits that I’d never seen before
- Very friendly people
- Not exploited
- Extremely nice, white sand beaches, that you wish was cleaner
- Cheap

We chose Famiana because the Green Villa seemed to be a good value for an experience somewhere between a large chain resort and roughing it at one of the islands many eco resorts. The assumption was pretty spot on. The Green Villa side is much quieter and more attractive than the somewhat rundown beach side, which seems to be hurting for some overall maintenance and troubled by neighboring construction. Overall, building maintenance and shoddy construction are the hotels downfalls. The rooms feel rundown. The water runs scalding or freezing. With a toddler, this was a nightmare. The lights in the pool werent fixed, but hung by their electrical wires. Amenities, like shampoo, seemed outdated or sun-baked. And in a garden view duplex with thin walls, loud neighbors are torture when trying to get a toddler to nap or go down for the night. Fortunately, the staff sell the place and treat guests well, especially the management. After complaining about the quality of our room, she seeked us out to improve our stay. We were very grateful to her for this kind of personalization. In the end, the staff were extremely professional. Overall, I commend the staff for acting like they genuinely cared, and I commend the manager for running a great team. As a result, I would recommend Famiana purely for its staff.

Need to clarify for future booking that the resort and the main hotel are across and far away from each other need to cross a very busy Main Street.

I feel very comfortable in this villa with private pool. It is quiet and safe though a little far from the beach, their cart service is so quick to send you there. I definitely will come back to this resort next trip in Pho Quoc
