We had a nice time. Hotel is in a good location only a few blocks from Beale Street and the Riverfront. Free parking for a place so close to downtown was a definite plus. They are currently upgrading the building on the outside, so there is quite a bit of construction material and trucks around the building. Overall, it served our purpose well and we’d stay there again for sure.

We were very pleased with the size and comfort level of our room. The breakfast was good, standard fare -- waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, etc. We appreciated the free parking, which was navigable in spite of some construction equipment being used for their exterior remodeling. We were able to walk to Beale Street and back, even as senior citizens.

Happy with the accomodation and breakfast. The use of single use plastics is not good. Also work was being done on the outside wall which led to the car being covered with polystyrene. The whole carpark was covered and basically allowed to disperse around the environment. Totally unaceptable

Great location for exploring downtown/Beale Stree which are all within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming and room was good with comfortable bed. Had a great time in Memphis and choosing this hotel as our base was a key element of that. Also good value.

We enjoyed our stay at the La Quinta. We were near Beale Street with all the food choices. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Traveling with a pet can be a challenge but no problems here.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was great. As for the condition of the room, the safety bar in the shower was coming off the wall, so not the safest setup there. The TV was also stuck in the menu function, and when I called the front desk, I was told they didn't know why that was happening and couldn't help me. There was large dog poop covering all the grassy areas, making it difficult to walk our small dog. Overall, probably wouldn't stay at this location again.

For a gun free state this place doe NOT ALLOW WEAPONS ! Same on Beal street !!!!! That’s a sign for the crooks to cause crime .. shooting on Beal street 12 hrs earlier than when we were there .. Signs that advertise a no gun zone always a crime zone for criminals, they know the people that follow the laws won’t be shooting back at them …. Sad ….

The property was clean and well cared for. It was a bit noisy though. The windows didn’t seem thick enough to keep the outside noise out. The location was easily walkable to many “touristy” aspects of Memphis.

Unlike some of the reviews I read, I found the property yo be quiet. it is clean and well kept iside and out. This property. Is great for familes or business traverls on a budget. It sits etwenthe Medical College and Downtown Entertainment Districts. While it is apparent that some areas near the hotel have been abandoned it looks like those places are on the way up. There's still plenty to do within 1 mile walking or 1-5 miles driving. I can not discuss the property and the city without addressing the most amazing staff I have experienced in traveling. I have stayed at 5 Star hotels as well as 2 Star hotels all over this country in Canada and the Caribbean. This property has a 5 STAR team. I was not the usual customer. I have multiple rooms that I added 1 by one at various times and they were amazing to work with. I want to name them so that they get the recognition they deserve. Stephanie, Keisha, Sag You took Great care of me and my family.

Very friendly and helpful employees. Location was perfect for walking to downtown yet felt very safe. Loved having free on-site parking. Shower pressure needs to be improved. Breakfast was not great — waffles did not bake all the way through, eggs had no flavor, and OJ was watery. However, we would definitely stay here again due to location, cleanliness, and service.

Our trip was a one night stay because we were driving through to Louisiana. The hotel was amazingly clean, super friendly staff who helped us find a great restaurant, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Free parking was also a plus. Our only complaint was being unable to sleep due to everything happening outside of the hotel. All night we heard motorcycles racing, fireworks, police sirens, and gun shots. That really has nothing to do with the hotel because our experience there was great, but the area surrounding the hotel really affected our feelings about ever staying there again.
