The staff members were very nice and helpful! They even helped me with using a trolley to bring my suitcase to my room! Thank you so much!!

I stayed here due to the fact that the bullet train had an issue and instead of it continuing to Kyoto I was stuck in Nagoya. It was 11pm. I had to find a hotel very close and fast due to the fact I had just flown 13 hours and was 2 hours in the bullet train. It was cold out and I was tired.
When I checked Expedia it said available, but when I went in the guy said it was full. I admit Japanese people sometimes just don’t want to be bothered if they don’t speak English so they will simply say full. It’s not really about being mean it’s more about inconveniencing you with having struggling with their English and inconveniencing them with trying to help you with your non Japanese language skills.
So instead I booked it on Expedia and voila! I stayed there. I wasn’t going to walk around to get the same answers everywhere. I stayed friendly with the front desk guy and we basically pretended the first interaction never happened haha
It’s a 3 min walk from the train, and there was also a late night restaurant open across the street. In addition they have free coffee hot chocolate, soda, soup, and a water dispenser on the main floor for guests to take as they like. The room is standard Japanese size and clean.
The bed and pillows were hard in terms of American standards. Overall if you need a quick place to crash for a day or two trip it’s super close to the train!

Avoid at all cost. They put me in a room where it smells gas so I had to complain and
moved me into a smoking room that smells cigarette smoke. Couldn’t sleep because of it and I ended up smelling like I smoke the whole night.
P.s.
i don’t smoke

Apart from smell of cigarette and noisy, everything is very good. Staff, location, cleanness, etc. Complimentary drinks e.g. coffee, soft drink, soup, etc. and accessories e.g. cotton, tooth brush, razor, etc. are at lobby and self help.
