Staff was not very friendly. They were judgy, and overall seemed like they were being inconvenience. The first thing I was told when I walked in was “um you’re at the Hilton garden” in a very condescending voice. When we went to the lobby to get laundry detergent they were all out, and when we were getting snacks one of the workers was giving us a dirty look the whole time. He then came over and asked if we had “moved the self checkout?” We are all over 30 y/o, but were treated like high school kids. The next day we asked to checkout later and the staff once again was not friendly. Just overall not the best experience, especially with it being a Hilton hotel.

Room was ice cold despite heat up all the way. Glad I was only staying one night. Other patrons reported same problem. Unacceptable for a Chicago hotel in December.

Beautiful views from the 20th floor. Easily walkable to dining and market. Close to bike rentals and easy for Uber pick up. Staff was terribly friendly and accommodating

We were visiting for 1 night from Mn and it was so nice and cozy in the room yet the view was amazing. Room was nice and clean and the restaurant connected to it on the corner (fatpour taproom or something?) Had really great food and the BEST margarita pizza with pesto<3

We got here early, asked if there was a possibility of getting in earlier. They said they would do what they can. So we had a few hours to kill. We took a walk to Yankee Stadium and ate nearby. We were able to get in 10 minutes before regular check in. There were a couple of groups of people that came in after us that got rooms before us. This is one reason for a lower star rating. The room had a mini fridge, no coffee maker or microwave.

Everything was excellent. Only small complaint was that maid didn’t restock facial tissues when making up the room after they ran out the first day of stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we got to use the pool and get some snacks. My only problem with our stay was the beds, they were very firm and we both got little sleep from tossing and turning.

Staff very helpful and pleasant. Great Lake view. Beds comfortable. Property clean. Snack bar in lobby. Close to McCormick Center.

The Hilton section of the building had only 2 elevators for the 20 or so floors, which wasn’t to bad of a wait but one of the elevators quit working on the 2nd day of our stay and caused major delays and crowds in the lobby.

We were only there for a night so for our purposes it was ok but otherwise I would say the service is great, room was mediocre, the carpet smelled damp, party next door was loud and it was very audible in our room.

Although the hotel was clean and the stay was good, it’s a total racket to charge as much as they do due to demand because of a basketball tourney. I kind studio should never cost over 330$. It was nice being close to the convention center. It the price is outrageous

Everything was great except for two things:
1. It smelled life feet in both hallway abd our room
2. There were someone's leftover food in the mi i fridge. And the area arond coffee and microwave was dirty w greasy fingerprints. We put the old food outside our room and it was still there the next day in the hallway. Gross.
Otherwise, bed was very comfy and the linens were fresh and of good quality ( i cant stand cheap nappy sheets! These were nice thread count cotton sheets). Staff was friendly and professional. Lobby and room was modern and nice. Just need to do something about the smell and tighten up the housekeeping crew.

After our Concert @ Solider field, I needed to shower to take the chill off and relax my muscles, but No hot water (luke warm). Woke up with sore muscles and numb hips! Since we stayed 2 nights, we did not get any fresh towels! VU rooftop bar was closed (private event) both nights of our stay, next door bar/restaurant (full), we had to walk a mile away and with the uneven sidewalks, my Aunt fell.

The room was comfortable. Walking distance to Soldier field. We didn't have a refrigerator in the room. But I didn't make an issue because we weren't in the room but to sleep. I did let them know when we checked out.
No complaints.

Our 1st room smelled like marijuana so they moved us to a new room which was actually larger and was a corner room. They gave us a bag with snacks to apologize. We tried to go to the rooftop to see the view of the lake, but couldn’t because they said we needed a reservation since it’s a bar also. We didn’t want to drink just see the view and leave. It would have been nice if that was mentioned somewhere. We booked that hotel since it had a rooftop view of the lake. I was charged twice for parking even though we stayed one night and never took our car out of the garage until we left. I called about it and the man I spoke to was no help. I was told to call back later. The room itself was nice. It would be nice if they offered free breakfast since we paid over $250.00 for 1 night. It was an easy walk to Soldier Field for the concert we were attending.

I'd stay here again.

I like the location of the hotel as well as the cleanliness, but there were issues from the start. Thankfully, I only had an overnight stay. The check in process was extremely long. The staff was very slow and much too talkative while checking customers in. There was a long line of us waiting and having our time waisted. I felt rushed to get to my event on time because of the 4pm check in requirement and super slow staff. Upon returning from the event, I realized that there was no safe in the room and the room was adjoining. Not at all what I paid for.

Front desk is superb!
Unexpectedly needed a place to stay last minute due to our other arrangements air conditioning was failing.
Thank you so much for making our check in and stay comfortable

The quality of this location just keeps getting worse; the rooms are supposed to be nonsmoking and they smell of smoke every time I stay there. Check in is difficult and late check out is even worse. I come in the city for work and pay for high speed Internet that doesn’t work ever.

There was no hot water only lukewarm water after 30min of letting run in the shower. The remote had no guts in it you could see the button pads. The security guard who brought another one after waiting 30min said wow that's what u we're left with and we chuckles

I got stuck in the elevator momentarily. I reported the incident to front desk who seemed unfazed, which seems to indicate this is not the first time they are hearing this. There were also other maintenance issues like the door handle on the shower being wobbly. Please revisit your maintenance. A colleague also mentioned no one came to clean their room one of the days. Otherwise, it was a convenient location for the AILA conference.
