The hotel was good, the room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were ok, probably could be more cleaner. The location was perfect, it’s easier to go to the main interest places in Chicago. Good rate quality price.

The shower had mold on the ceiling and the bathrooms in general were filthy. It does not look like the pictures at all.

Nice experience

Ok if you expect a standard hotel room you will be disappointed. What one gets here is a windowless closet with little soundproofing just bigger than your dingle bed. Toilet and shower rooms, of which there are only 2 are not that clean.
The price is interesting, the location good, the staff helpful, but not really a hotel room, closer to a hostel with shutting doors

I liked the place walking distance to places in Chicago.

The guy at the desk was nice but the rooms are too small
2.0
No toilet, no shower, no sink.

Perfect little place to stay for a night or two, great location near the lake, and close to Union Station.
5.0
Small but cheap, quiet and walking distance from soldier field. Would stay again as it's about half the cost of other places. Perfect for one night

It was a great stay: close to anywhere. Highly recommended!

I stayed 4 nights while visiting for 2 Rolling Stones concerts. The owner was very accommodating in allowing me to check in early on arrival day. The on site manager was very friendly and a wealth of local information during my stay. And also helped me securely pack my concert lithograph for my flight home. The location was perfect to be able to walk to Soldier Field for the concerts and everything else I was planning to do. Bus service was almost in front of the building and the subway was a short 3 block walk. All body wash, shampoo, shaving cream, hair dryer and towels were provided. A small shared fridge, coffee and fresh water as well were provided. This will be my go to place for any future Chicago visits.

Great affordable place close to downtown with great staff.

Close to music venues.

Good concept with the little walk on rooms rather than crawl in pods like other similar properties. Would have wished an easier way to contact onsite staff but had a texting contact that alerted staff when I needed something.

There was gum on the wall, the blinds were visibly dirty, the inner second door which was supposed to provide security was never closed. The shelves in the bathroom were broken. It’s a good location but the room was dirty and the shared facilities were run down. It’s fine if you desperately need somewhere cheap, but I’d advise bringing your own sheets.

Proprietor sent me wrong door code and didnt answer phone. Luckily, someone from staff opened the door

The room was like a cell rather than a bedroom . The member of staff who dealt with me was pleasant and helpful but not a place I would look to stay in again.

Upgrade needs to be done on bathrooms worn out and old!

Dirty, not comfortable. Was not worth the low price. Would gladly pay more next time for a clean hotel. Bathrooms literally discusting

Pros
Cheap, great location for food drink and public transportation, quiet, 1st floor , good tv channel choices, good pillows, good bedding
Good wifi
Cons
Doors to property are in need of repair, the bathrooms are very dirty, carpet is dirty, every so often a smell comes into the rooms that smells like sewer, only one plug in room, no soap or wash cloths in bathroom.
This is a Hostel not like a hotel. No kitchen no hot plate, no fridge. Its perfect to travel alone and a place to sleep and keep your luggage.

Ughh. Tiny. Expensive.

Great place to stay for a night to see a concert or game. It is in a great location, but a shared shower and bath which is not the best, but the room was clean and quiet.

The host is very kind, but the room and the restroom were a bit dirty. Good position and very near to the Loop and the Park.

This was exactly what I needed. A place to sleep at night. It was quiet and i felt very safe there. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We didn’t end up staying here. My boyfriend was on the fence about the trip, so the reservation was only for me. The man who greeted us at the front desk said the room was small but we could have it if we want. Another man comes out and shows us everything we’ve already been shown. He’s really pressing the fact that the room was designed for one person, it felt like a hard up-sell. Which we refused bc dude #1 said it was okay. We’re settling into the room and hear the two of them arguing, loudly, about whether or not to charge us a fee for an extra person. Dude #2 comes back and says it’s $40, which my bf offers to pay. Now the man says this fee has to be cash, that he can’t run it on a card, and that there’s a bank down the road he can go to. So sketchy. We decide to just leave, and as we’re on our way out he changes his mind and says it’s fine, that we can stay. Nope. We left, and definitely won’t be coming back.

Bathroom and common areas needs to be better maintained.

I had a great time and would stay here again.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. This place is a scam. They constantly were telling me one thing and then telling me something different later. He tried to tell me I had to leave him my car keys. I was told I could come and go as I please and no one told me the parking lot closes so I couldn’t even stay my whole time I had to pack up and leave in the middle of the night because I had no parking. It’s not worth it in the slightest.

Seedy and misleading. Unprofessional staff. Disappointing.

Room was extremely small. Only 2 bathrooms for entire hotel. No AC control for individual room.
Staff helpful regarding obtaining bus passes for local transportation.a passes

The management of this hotel should not be in the hotel business. They lie, cheat and steal. Do not stay here.
The first clue is when they ask you to Zelle someone to pay for parking. If you have a problem during your stay, they will tell you they have to speak to someone who is traveling and can’t be reached or they need 5 days to think about a resolution.
It’s cheap but if you can avoid it do not stay here.

The hotel mislead me into thinking the8 have rooms with private bathrooms

Perfect for a solo traveler - no frills. Please note, this facility uses a shared restroom, the rooms have a bed and TV only. Not super sounds proof. However, this was perfect for my needs. It is in a fantastic location - walking distance to many restaurants and shops and Solider Field. One item to note is the parking, finding street parking in Chicago is a nightmare - this hotel does have parking in the back accessible by alley for an additional charge. My only complaint was trying to get a hold of someone in order to find/pay for the parking. However, once I did get ahold of the owner, he was extremely helpful and stayed on the phone with me until I located the parking and the attendant. I would stay here again.

I like the service and all are to close to the Hotel.
