Very good hotel. Well located.

I was first threatened, then physically attacked by one of the hotel staff. I was coming in for the night on thursday, and thought I could still use a nightcap. So I headed for the hotel bar. The bar was empty, as it had been every night, and I went to the reception to ask if the bar was already closed for the night. They then called Vasil from somewhere, as they had done every evening and Vasil came in seemingly unsettled by something.
At this point I was still in a very good mood and I told him jokingly I was sorry for waking him up. Then he got really mad and pointed out that he was not sleeping. And when I left the bar without ordering anything, due to his aggressiveness he kept on shouting at me that he would meet me outside and beat me up.
I went back to the reception to ask whether this was normal, and could tell that some of the staff were very afraid of Vasil and some tried to cool him down.
I must say at this point I also heightened my voice because he kept screaming over everybody and at this point he put his hands on me.
Police were called and I think Vasil went away for the night. I did not go outside that night and kept the deadbolt on my door locked.
In the morning, when we’re checking out the staff was very friendly and asked if I was ok.
Altogether the staff was very friendly except this Vasil guy.

Wonderfull view of St.Pauls cathedral and Tower bridge. Good size room, comfy beds, good service from all staff. Overall just great!
4.3
Great place. Very clean and room was well appointed. Staff were friendly and I would recommend staying here.
4.3
Place is clean and nice . Would stay again.
4.3
The staff are fantastic 👍
Room was very, very small and breakfast wasn't great at £15.
4.3
Overall very good stay and fab location.
4.3
Good location next to Farringdon station. Clean and modern rooms. Strange layout with the bathroom
4.3
The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the queen room which was super clean and well-equipped for the minimal time we would be spending in it. The location was super convenient for traveling to/from LHR as well as getting into central London. The surrounding area had tons of great cafes, pubs, and restaurants in walking distance.
The only cons were that the air conditioning was pretty weak, so the room would get a bit too warm at night, and the TV hardly worked as no channels would load 99% of the time. However we were able to stream Netflix on our phones to the TV so this was not a huge issue. The bed was also extremely stiff and a bit uncomfortable.
Overall, would stay again for the staff, location, and amenities.

Nice and clean place.

Ultra modern hotel next to Farringdon station.

Nice and quiet hotel - we had the triple room.
Room on 1st floor, window was facing into the other building, which was also the hotel, and facing "into" the lobby, so no streetview. Had "privacy blinds" that allowed light in but were not see-through from the opposite rooms. Windows do not open, but there is an air conditioner.
Room was small but had what we needed. Also included a small fridge to store water etc.
Comfortable beds - the double bed came with a double cushion. We got that changed to singles when we went to the reception and asked. Our child thought the bunk bed above the double bed was a real treat. It was comfortable and wide as well.
A bit weird with the very thin frosted glass wall around the toilet and bath, and with the sink for washing your hands in the room, not in the bathroom stall. Would not recommend this hotel for new couples or people wanting more privacy, since you can almost see through the wall and it is in no way sound proof. :-)
Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of hot and cold options.
There's also a cold water dispenser that you can use throughout the day.

Very good room, solid bed and facilities. Had a great view of the room opposite out of my window so didn’t have the curtains up for the stay.
House keeping came in everyday to make the bed and change the towels. Didn’t remove any rubbish during stay except for what was left after the first night. I had spilt a bit of juice on the bed nothing major approx a drop, sheet were just flipped over never changed.
4.3
Overall a lovely clean, efficient hotel. Comfortable beds and great location. One thing that isn’t great is the paper thin frosted glass walls for both the bathroom and shower with little to no privacy. The room booked had enough space for a walled section for this and have no idea why hotels think this is a good or fit for purpose approach.

The hotel was very nice and clean, but it felt like we were staying in a hospital room. The restroom and shower were not very privat. The room was a decent size for (2) people. The location was not far from the Underground subway.
4.3
Good quiet room, well looked after
4.3
Staff, very friendly at front of house.
Room disappointing overall - appeared to give me the worst room available when it was clear on the site availability, others were available.
As gold member it states upgrade if available- it showed as available but not given.
Mushroom Risotto for evening meal needs to see more mushrooms as it was a bit tasteless and not recommended.
Breakfast was very good with lots of selection.
Overall, the stayed, for business worked, I would book again, however hope for a better room!
4.3
Great place and staff overall but no chance of sleep in those rooms at the lift end of the corridors as the doors are continually opening and closing.

I recently stayed at Yotel London City in Farringdon, which is conveniently located near several underground stations and popular attractions. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms were impressive, and the Room (First Class) we booked had plenty of storage space and modern amenities. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, the shower was excellent, though it did leak slightly into the toilet.
The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with our requests. Unfortunately, one of the rooms we booked, 136, had no windows, which made it feel a bit stuffy upon arrival. The air conditioning seemed to be having some trouble, but it eventually started working effectively on Sunday night.
Overall, our stay at Yotel London City was enjoyable, and I would recommend it to others looking for a clean and comfortable accommodation with good access to London's transportation system. However, I would advise potential guests to be aware that some rooms, like 136, may not have windows. While room 236, which faced offices, was more pleasant to sit in and relax.
I hope the hotel can address the issue of windowless rooms, as it can significantly impact the overall experience, especially for guests who prefer natural light. Informing guests about this beforehand would allow them to make an informed decision when booking their stay as I don't believe they should be charged at the same rate and I would never book a room without a window.

Clean, room on the smaller size, great shower. Location is also good
4.3
I had a great stay. The room was really good. Great breakfast. Close to central London.
4.3
Great stay - small rooms but everything works well and smart solutions. And I had a great view of London
Breakfast a little dissapointing - but if you are prepared for a small room then this is a really good choice. And I had ALL I needed!!
4.3
Fab stay with our two teenagers , great location , fantastic views and comfy beds .

Property is great! Clean, friendly, helpful. Sadly, on our last night of staying, after buying o.j. at a convenience store close by, a beggar approached us pleading for food. After a block of ignoring him, he actually touched my husband, who said 'no touch!' to the man. At that time the man called my husband a f.c. and walked away. Not cool.
4.3
The hotel itself was super clean and the staff were wonderful. The only weird thing was that the toilet and shower in the room were in frosted glass boxes, so my friends could see me take a wee. Good thing I'm not shy, I guess, but do be warned if you're uncomfortable with that sort of the thing. The frosted glass blurs you, but it doesn't hide your silhouette while you're doing your business.
4.3
Excellent facility in good location and excellent services
4.3
I liked that the hotel was close by to metro and bus station one train ride to the Heathrow airport
4.3
The room was just ridiculously small for two people. Nowhere to put bags, nowhere to hang clothes (as this was taken by the only space to put a suitcase). Couldn’t get down the side of the bed so had to crawl over it.
Basin in bedroom - very hard to negotiate the tiny space.
4.3
Close to transit and comfy bed
4.3
Great location, very clean, modern, brilliant mattress.
4.3
We have stayed here many times. The location is convenient as the bus stop is in front of the hotel. Beds are comfortable, the safe is large and the rooms are clean.
4.3
Location and condition fab but id prefer it to be a bit cleaner and needs a good refurb, marks all over the bathroom and the lining, bed mattress had stains underneath the comforter, view was just a brick wall for those expecting a good view. Value for money 5/10
4.3
Nice and very clean

We really enjoyed our stay at Yotel. Well located in a nice neighbourhood, not far from Farrington station, the room is small , but well organized and super comfortable. We would definitely go back.
4.3
Fabulous! Attentive staff and clean room. Great location for Farringdon

It was Not possible to open the windows… the AC was good but it took a Long Time to cool down the room.
Room 604
4.3
Staff was great and the location is perfect with plenty of dinning options with in walking distance.
4.3
The breakfast was great, many options.
There should be complementary tea, coffee or juice all day for those staying in the hotel.
There should be consideration for a few hours complementary stay, at least up to 1 PM upon request and at no additional charge
4.3
Very nice place. I’d stay there again
4.3
Amazing , only the space is not enough for us and had a trouble charging our phone but over all very clean
