Beautiful house with stunning views of Looe. Our group consisted of ages 1-75 and it suited us all. The owners have us thorough information on arrival and were helpful if we had any problems.

Family Holiday
We decided to have a family holiday. There are a lot of us! Finding somewhere that would be suitable for the demands of a family ranging in age from 1-58 I thought would be difficult.
I came across the Clipper House. It looked a great location and appeared to have enough room for us all. With all en-suite bedrooms and additional bathroom and toilet, that was important as there was 18 of us!
On arrival I can honestly say we where all amazed at how spacious it was. Room to all sit in the lounge, and around a table. Really important for family mealtimes and relaxing in the evenings.
The kitchen is superbly equipped for catering for a large group and plenty of fridge and freezer space. We had made the decision to eat in most nights as having busy days and tired children in restaurants would not be relaxing. Being able to cook family meals easily was great. ( We did a Tesco Food Delivery to arrive an hour after we checked in. )
Paula and Phil have created a wonderfully relaxing home from home. We didn’t want to leave.
No one ever felt like we where on top of each other and the bar and games room where great to continue holidaying for the adults once the kids went to bed.
The views from the lounge are stunning. With sunrises and sunsets and Looe by night, there was always something to see.
We took advantage of everything Looe had to offer.
Thank you for trusting us with your house.
Don’t dither about booking it. Honestly you won’t be disappointed.

The Clipper was ideal for our family get together. Plenty of space and all we needed for our stay. Paula was very helpful and explained everything on arrival. Only thing we didn't realise was how high up we were. The walk down into town and for the beach was certainly challenging. Hard with two under two's with buggies. Other then that a good week

Everything you need - excellent venue
Ten of us came to Looe for a 60th birthday. The venue and location is fantastic. Sam looked after everything and when we arrived the checkin was easy, setup clean and presented excellently. Would highly recommend staying here if in Looe and if we can get back here again from Australia would have no hesitation in staying here again. Everything as it was advertised and had all equipment, utensils etc that you could possible need.

Amazing setting
Our 2nd time at the Clipper. An amazing time had by all 17 of us. Plenty of walking, relaxing, eating and sitting admiring the fantastic views. Very comfortable property with everything we needed. We did our own pub quiz in the bar followed by a party. We can't wait to return.

Brilliant setting for a family get-together
What a fabulous setting for a family get-together. Our ages ranged from 2 to 97 years and we were all there to celebrate our matriarch's 70th birthday. Plenty for the active ones of us to do and wonderful views for the older and younger ones to admire while they played or drank wine!

Half term family gathering
We have just returned from a truly wonderful stay at The Clipper House in Looe. There were 18 of us age range 2 to 63 & the house was a perfect place for us to spend quality time together. The house provides an inclusive sociable space where we could enjoy each others company without feeling on top of each other.
Sam was the perfect host providing all the little touches e.g. abundance of fresh flowers, welcome pack of food & always ready with help & information.
We would definitely hope to return.

I booked Clipper House for a group retreat of 14 people. It was perfect. Enough room for all, with everything we needed (the pool table was well used). Great location in Looe with stunning views. Sam was an excellent host.

An absolutely fantastic week at Clipper House
Our very large family enjoyed a get together at Clipper House. It is an amazing, spotlessly clean and well equipped property for large groups with so much space there was never any sense of overcrowding. Very comfortable and the hosts were helpful and responsive but did not intrude (They even received and put away all of our home delivery shopping on the day we arrived!) We loved the amazing views over Looe beach. Clipper House has its own bar which the grown ups enjoyed! The children had fun on the pool table and the many games that were available to keep them amused. Alfie the dog loved nice walks and swimming from Hannafore point. The house has plenty of parking (we had five cars) and is a 15 minute walk to the main beach. We would highly recommend this amazing house for large group holidays and we will certainly be back. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing break xxx

Wonderful family holiday
The Clipper house is ideal for large families, it has everything you could need in a holiday home and the views are to die for. This is the second time we have stayed at the Clipper house and we will definitely return again, there isn't many holiday homes that can accommodate as well as the Clipper and Samuel makes you very welcome, especially with the scone, clotted cream, jam and freshly baked bread on arrival.
A wonderful holiday for all ages.

Great family stay
We booked Clipper House for a large group of family members attending our daughter's wedding at Polhawn Fort. Clipper House is ideal for this sort of occasion beautiful bedrooms with amazing views and everyone has access to their own bathrooms. There were 19 of us staying and we had great fun eating together in the large dining area and then enjoying the spectacular views from the living area with a glass of wine in hand. From booking through to our stay at Clipper Sam was always prompt with his responses and a great help.

Lovely house in a great location
We (13 family members aged between 7 and 78) enjoyed a fabulous week in Looe. The house is in a good location (pleasant 20 mins walk to town/beach although beware steep hill on the way back!) with wonderful beach/sea views from many of the bedrooms. There is plenty of space to eat and socialise together and the kids particularly enjoyed the snooker table. Kitchen well stocked with crockery and utensils. Sam was a great host and the tasty scones, jam, cream and other treats on arrival were much appreciated! Would recommend both the house and Looe itself, we had a lovely time :-)

Clipper House has the Wow Factor!!
The house is beyond amazing, the views are outstanding, and I had the most amazing Hen Weekend at The Clipper. I could hardly believe my eyes when we pulled up to this gorgeous house looking out across the sea, harbour and Looe itself. Sam is the perfect host and along with his friend Sophie they really helped make the weekend fantastic. The added luxury of having Sam and Sophie cook for us on Saturday and Sunday really made my hen weekend perfect, so friendly, welcoming, they really could not do enough for us which meant we all had an amazing relaxing weekend. The bedrooms are all decorated to a high standard as well as the bathrooms and everything was perfectly clean and tidy. The added touches of reading books being available, cream teas and a very well stocked games cabinet were additional wow factors. We were a diverse bunch of girls with differing styles and tastes but were all equally impressed with The Clipper and have all said how much we would like to return. From what those organising my hen weekend have told me Sam was most helpful with making my weekend extra special, even helping get the girls in touch with a sea glass jewellery maker who came in and did a master class at the house with us which was so "my cup of tea". We loved the fact that the sun room/lounge had enough seating that we could all chill out and spend time together as well as the dining room. The games room was again for us a massive bonus and was used all weekend. I really can not recommend Sam and The Clipper enough, it was beyond perfection... just totally outstanding!!

Beautiful accommodation in a great location
What a fantastic weekend at this amazing accommodation, it is even better in person than the pictures let on! With a total of 27 people we booked the house and two apartments, the house is extremely spacious, airy, fully equipped and has beautiful views from the lounging area and all front bedrooms. The location is brilliant, having never been to Looe we thoroughly enjoyed our short walk to the harbour, shops and beach.
I highly recommend this place for a holiday escape whether it be a couple of days to a week or longer. I would definitely return. Many Thanks.

Ozzy's 50th
Booked this for my 50th there was 13 of us in total, we had already been to meet Sam on a previous stay in Looe in November so already new what the property was like. Sam welcomed us and showed us all around and was always a phone call away if we needed anything. The property is beautiful and the views are amazing, we didn't really leave only for a meal on the Saturday night as there was no need the house is fully equipped and comfortable. We all absolutely loved it and are already looking to stay for a week, the property is spotless, really comfortable and in a fantastic location.

Wonderful Christmas Break
A group of 11 of us (plus 3 dogs) stayed here to celebrate Christmas. The property itself is excellent with plenty of space. A lounge area with wonderful views of Looe, which was even better at night with the Christmas lights around the harbour. The dining room had two large tables which can be moved to create the perfect seating arrangement. The bar area was great place to congregate during the evening. The Kitchen was well equipped and as the property used to be a hotel it has a very large cooker/oven, which does take a bit of getting used to. The bedrooms and all en-suite and very comfortable with the rooms at the front also benefiting from the wonderful views.
Sam, who manages the property, couldn't be more helpful, both in the run up to and during our stay. The scones that were waiting for us on our arrival were a nice touch and were delicious.
All in all a wonderful property which I would highly recommend.

An amazing weekend in a stunning location. Fantastic hospitality! Highly recommend Clipper House!
I spent a fabulous weekend with 12 friends at Clipper House for my 30th birthday. On arrival, was greeted by the owner Sam, who had been wonderful in helping to organise the weekend prior to our arrival. The house is gorgeous, with the most amazing views over Looe from the living room and most of the en suite bedrooms. The facilities were amazing, a fabulous bar area with large drinks fridge, a large very well kitted out kithchen, a games room, music system, and gorgeous bedrooms! Sam had also added lots of lovely little touches like freshly baked scones, fresh fruit and flowers, which made us feel very welcome. We then had a delicious 3 course meal catered by Jonny, Sam's brother who is an amazing chef! The brothers were an amazing team, we felt like we were having dinner at a 5 star restaurant!
I highly recommend a stay at Clipper house, especially for a special occasion with a big group. We all wished we could have stayed longer, and will be back again!
