:
If you were looking for a place in the 1940s and 50s to escape to filled with sunshine and ideal weather, swimming pools, sports, and movie stars, the Racquet Club in Palm Springs was the place to be. First opened in 1934 by Hollywood actors Ralph Bellamy and Charles Farrell, for the next 30 years, the Racquet Club would serve as an oasis for movie stars. Built initially with just two tennis courts, the Club grew to hold one of the most popular swimming pools in Palm Springs and the local legendary bar called the "Bamboo Room." Stars such as Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Dinah Shore, and Marilyn Monroe could often be spotted by the pool or enjoying a round of tennis. Beginning in the 1970s after Hollywood's glory days had ended, the Racquet Club suffered a decline, only worsened by a fire in 2014. All that remains are the ruins reflecting the ethereal glamour that once existed.
Azure Spring Villa is just located 6 minutes from downtown Palm Springs, 45 minutes from the gates of Joshua Tree National Walk and just two blocks away from Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
One car can park in the garage, 3 on the driveway, and the 5th and 6th cars can park along the hedges next to the garage.
For your safety and the security of the property, the perimeter is monitored by cameras. There are no cameras inside the house; there is a Ring doorbell camera, which alerts the owners when someone rings the doorbell.
A new Tesla wall charger was recently installed for your convenience.

Wow. I truly cannot express how wonderful this property was. We had friends (ages 28-36) meet up from around the country for a relaxing birthday trip and this place did not disappoint. It felt quiet and secluded, but so close to everything. Incredibly quick Ubers to wherever we wanted to go.
The communication from the hosts was immaculate and they were helpful with all of our questions. The pool is just stunning and wasn’t too hot or cold for our trip.
The front room of the house can get warm, but using the ac units quickly fixed that. I cannot recommend this property enough for a reunion of friends, family, anything!

We had the best time here celebrating my husband’s 40th bday! There was plenty of room for 7 couples. We enjoyed the pickleball court, pool, hot tub and sauna! Host responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

The property was perfect for our family (ages 8-82)
We set up a pickleball tournament that lasted our entire stay.
there was something for all. The pool, Hot Tub and Ping-Pong were well used.
Perfect place for all my family to spend precious time together.
The only recommendation would be to set the ping pong table up in the garage to have a safer area and more space.
Highly recommend this property

We had a fantastic stay with a group of friends. The pickleball court got a lot of use, we did laps in the pool, and hung out in the spa. The tiki bar was perfect for making drinks, and there are lots of spots for conversation and chilling. Close to town for yummy dinners. We will be back!

The house was excellent for our group! The outdoor living space and pool is top notch, the house was super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The property managers were easy to communicate with and prompt in their responses. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property - fantastic pool and spa - tons of nice bedrooms/bathrooms. Good quality kitchen - ONLY 5 coffee makers - tiki bar - and a tangerine tree that makes some amazing fresh squeezed juice.

This property was stellar! The entire experience was seamless and the amenities were everything. This house has it all and is a wonderful place for a larger group. There’s so much space. Added bonus is definitely the pickleball court. 10/10 recommend this spot!

We had a great time and stayed home more than we anticipated enjoying all of the great amenities (especially the pickleball court and Tiki room!). The kitchen and Tiki Bar are great and well stocked. It was a fun and restful week!

Meticulous clean and well organized home - more like an estate! The pool area was perfect for my college friends and I to float the day away. Plenty of bedrooms makes it a very comfortable setting for friends and/or extended family. Look forward to coming again !

We stayed for three days after a family wedding in nearby Lake Arrowhead with a group of 12 adults and 2 little ones. This house was so perfect for our group with bedrooms and baths for everyone and even two pack & plays set up for our littles upon arrival. We locked the door of the main bathroom making the room closest to the kitchen another full en suite. Including the den with a pullout and it's own bath, that gave us 7 bed/bath combos. All with large beds.
The kitchen is very well appointed with two dishwashers, three ovens (really!) Multiple coffee makers and other small appliances. I can't imagine anything else it would need. Multiple sets of dishes made it easy to feed everyone and not have to worry about running out of anything. On top of that the bar has another cooktop, dishwasher, bar sink and ice maker. And the large gas grill cooked up steak and shrimp to perfection!
We used every square inch of the property with daily pickleball contests, fun in the GIGANTIC pool, evenings in the hot tub, bag tossing, and plenty of time sitting on the patio under the misters to take the edge off the hot summer temps.
Check in and out was a breeze - instructions are very detailed and everything worked perfectly. We made contact with the property manager several times and always had an almost immediate response. Everything was just perfect.
Our only regret is that our stay was so short! We highly recommend this lovely home for your stay in Palm Springs 🌴.

We loved our time at the property! The house exceeded our expectations. The check-in process with a little cumbersome because of the property manager / he had a bit of an attitude even though we didn't arrived until after check in time. He said he planned his entire day around our arrival...

We booked this home for our annual ladies trip. We are all 50-60 year old ladies who enjoyed relaxing in the pool, breakfast and dinners at the dining room table and games in the living room. The house was big enough for all 12 comfortably. The kitten has everything you need if you plan to cook at home, as we did. They even had some Floaties in the garage. Highly recommend this home for large gatherings. (Also the communication with the owner was incredibly timely when we had a few little hiccups that were resolved immediately!)

My friends and I loved our weekend away at this location! We enjoyed time by the pool, on the pickleball court and were very comfortable with how much room there was for a group our size.

This property was perfect for our needs and we found everything we could want included here with clear instructions provided for everything. My husband and I with our 3 adult children with spouses and grandchildren were extremely comfortable with plenty of space, The pool was very spacious and hit with everyone. Pickleball court was used daily as was the Corn Hole game. The location is great with easy access to the palm springs downtown core and all their great shops and restaurants. We would love to stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay here! We celebrated our family reunion. It was nice that everyone had their own room and bathroom, something that was hard to find elsewhere. The POOL!! It’s huge and the spa was large enough to fit almost everyone… lots of places to just hang out with friends. Definitely a gem!

Gorgeous home with beautiful view of the mountains in a quiet neighborhood. So many hang out areas and activities to choose from there is no need to leave the property. A bedroom and bathroom for everyone and crazy well stocked kitchen. Perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Would definitely stay here again

The house was perfect for our family of 12. The hosts were very accommodating and the location was minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The house was fully stacked with towels, sheets and supplies. There are two washer and dryers and three dishwashers. The pool , hot tub and outdoor areas were resort like and the numerous patios allowed family some quiet time. Thank you, we hope to be back.

This property was absolutely the best vrbo I have ever stayed in. The owner was so responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay. The house has everything you need for a group of people. The tiki area was a great indoor place for us to hang. The pool and backyard was so big and relaxing, even the dogs didn't want to leave. We used the dinning area for every meal and everyone loved their individual rooms. You can't go wrong with this house. We didn't even leave to go out to dinner or go to downtown Palm Springs. It was just so great to be with all of my friends celebrating the big 5-0! Thank you for sharing your house with us.

I decided to spend my early 50th birthday in Palm Springs and found this beautiful home. It was the perfect home for me and all my friends. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for people to mingle or have alone time. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. The home was clean. The pool was awesome. Close to town. The owner and the property manager were wonderful to work with; very responsive. It was a wonderful relaxing way to bring on 50!

This house was perfect for 10 guests. We had a birthday celebration, birth announcement, and a homecoming college football game. The owners and house manager responded immediately when we had questions and they were very accommodating with our pets. It was a lovely house, perfectly located and we highly recommend this property. The backyard was an entertainer’s delight. The pickle ball courts was a big hit!

The house was perfect for our group of 12. Even with a 4 month old napping on one side of the house the rest of the group was able to hang out without disturbing him. The house was more than fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The tiki bar room was the perfect touch for a full day of Saturday football. Couldn't ask for a better location to all the fun spots in Downtown Palm Springs. There is even some fun history to the house.
The owners Lyman and Kansinee were great at communicating and the house manager Charles was so helpful checking us in and showing us where everything was and how to operate everything in the house. Would 0 recommend this house.
