A beautiful place to stay with friendly staff and a great breakfast!

Excellent position for Monsaraz. Beautiful and very tasteful house with very comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A real home from home of the best kind. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely pool area with view. Restaurants within walking distance. Free parking on property.

Tolle Momente in einer ländlichen Umgebung!

Wir waren 2 Nächte da. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Sehr freundliches Personal, ein tolles Frühstück und alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Dass unser großes Zimmer nur 1 Fenster hatte und damit schlecht zu lüften und dunkel war (Zimmer 6). Das ist aber wohl nicht bei allen Zimmern so!

Um conceito dferente,com estadia ideal para fugir da Correia da cidade

O Peq almoço excelente;a piscina e a simpatia da Mara.

Na piscina,apesar de termos adorado,achamos que necessita de uns guarda-sóis ,pois faltam áreas de sombra.; Não ter canais de televisão portuguesa; Apesar de um conceito diferente,com cozinha para os hóspedes,achamos que nos quartos deveria existir um mini frigorífico.

O melhor de Monsaraz

Espaços comuns extremamente acolhedores, a decoração é de um gosto irrepreensível! A nossa estadia foi no final de dezembro, havia sempre duas lareiras, onde podíamos desfrutar a ler um livro, dos muitos que lá existiam. No exterior, também rico na variedade de espaços, podemos encontrar alguns animais ou simplesmente relaxar no agradável silêncio que a natureza envolvente oferece. Pequeno-almoço variado e de excelente qualidade Proprietários e Staff proporcionam um ambiente familiar, sempre prestáveis para qualquer necessidade que haja. Voltar certamente está nos nossos planos futuros

Quer desligar e descansar? Este é o lugar!

Excelente estadia, o staff (em especial a Susana), atencioso e prestativo, quartos espaçosos e café da manhã magistral. Recomendaria sem dúvidas a quem quer ir à região.

O único senão foi o chão do meu quarto estar um tico empoeirado, mas nada que desabone a estadia, só uma pequena observação.

Property is poorly represented by photos

We did not stay. It was not an attractive property and the mountain view promised by booking.com didn't exist. The room was dark with one small window overlooking an unkempt yard. Thankfully, our deposit was refunded though technically, they could have kept it as we booked last minute.

Incredible place, would heavily recommend.

A Hidden gem with a view of Monsaraz. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome and have a very relaxing stay. Beautiful interior and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant also.

A welcoming, relaxing, comfortable and delicious place to stay.

Everything! We couldn’t recommend this place more. The stuff is so wonderful, the decor so perfect, the rooms and beds, so comfortable, the pool so refreshing and relaxing (and its design so whimsical), the animals so cute (bunnies!, goats!, cats!, dogs!), the breakfast SOooo delicious (fresh goji berries from their farm and tapioca!). Susanna and Mara have clearly put so much time and energy and love into their care for this place. You can feel it in everything. We loved it so much we came back two days later for another few days! If we lived closer we would come all the time. We will recommend it to anyone who asks.

We had a great time visiting Alentejo and Monsaraz was just a few minutes away from the property.

Perfect Locale - Wonderful Stay!

Definitely book this place before too many tourists have discovered it!

This was one of those special places that you rarely find - it's only just opened and is still in a state of becoming but the rooms are incredibly comfortable, Susanna and Gil are wonderful, welcoming hosts and four of us traveling together said it was the best breakfast we ever had. We have already planned our return visit.

Peaceful setting with a view of Monsaraz. Close to hiking trails, wineries, etc. Brand new facilities, unbelievable breakfast, wow to Suzanna and team for impeccable and friendly service. Lovely pool. Great local restaurants in walking distance.

Viva Farmhouse is very close to the amazing place Monsaraz....a must to visit!

Breakfast was very good, all freshly prepared and served to your table, lovely and relaxed modern farmstyle atmosphere. Very friendly hosts,they really pay attention to details! We unfortunately stayed only one night but we'll be back some other time again! The comfy rooms are all new renovated and so is the mainbuilding. Viva Farmhouse is still busy growing, making it a relaxed place to spend a special time. There is a chilling pool area!

Beautifully renovated property, spacious well appointed rooms and delicious breakfast. A perfect location to visit Monsa

The guest house is in an excellent location to easily visit the pretty town of Monsaraz. The room is beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds, beautiful linen and opening windows as well as air conditioning. The breakfast was very generous and delicious using local produce and home made cakes and cereal. The rainbow pool!!

Awesome breakfast relaxing place to stay. Wish we didn’t want to see things and just chilled there!

The breakfast was amazing! So many options and we got to try Brazilian foods! Especially liked the pao de quejio waffles and acai and fruits. And freshly squeezed orange juice. Very cute little dishes too, some from local pottery shops!

Exceptional

We loved our stay at Viva Farmhouse! The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large, the pool was refreshing, the setting was relaxing, the view of Monsaraz was stunning, and the pets were adorable. The grounds are well set for a longer stay with a beautiful communal kitchen and living spaces - wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend going to see the sunset from the top of Monsaraz castle and getting dinner at Sem Fin (a couple doors down from the farmhouse). Breakfast was incredible, with excellent gluten free options.

A place to remember

This place is exeptional! We enjoyed every second spending time there. It's on the edge of a little village right before the beautiful historic town of Monsaraz. The energy of this place is amazing, their love of animals, the positivity and the exquisite eye for details can be felt and seen in every corner. Their lounge area and breakfast are an experience not be missed. Not to mention their lovely pool. Hope we will be back soon. :)

The property it self was incredibly quaint and comfortable. A young lady checked us and was very accommodating w anything that we needed. The breakfast was outstanding. Everything was very fresh and made to order. There were chickens, goats and a duck on the property that were adorable.
