Receptionists were good, breakfast was decent. Not over priced in this peak season in this location. Room was spacious.
I don’t want to write my review in this way, but we had several issues about cleanings. We came back to the room 301 in the afternoon and found room was not cleaned. I saw a lady cleaning a next room so, we just decided to wait. After 1 hour, the room was not cleaned neither. We asked her to finish cleaning as we are waiting out towel change to take shower. But she didn’t have the key and came us to pick up our key. We had been waited 2 hours outside at the end. After that, We found out the key was left on the door. The lady had left after she tidied up the room without inform us anything. Trash was not collected as well. Next day is same, we found no cleaning so we called the reception and we had to go pick up our new towel and shower gel. They told us that they don’t have another key for our room. If a guest left the key in the room and out there, it means no one can open the door. Unbelievable. No trash was collected during our 3 days stay.

Very nice and welcoming hotel in Syracuse! The location is great as you are a minute's walk from Ortigia and all the restaurants, cafe ect. Very welcoming personel, especially Lucca who gave us information for food and drinks and suggested us a very nice beach also! Arrivederci!

It was at a very good location also very good room size
The breakfast was very mediocre

Location, close to Ortigia
The bar next door is playing very loud music until 2am, the beats make your bed tremble. The sound isolation is non-existant. Only option is to go party along

renovated spacious room in an excellent location in the heart of Syracuse, delicious breakfast, value for money
the personnel was kind and helpful but the fact they didn’t speak English at all was some kind of a problem

Good location, close to the historical city center.
This hotel looks like a comunist country hospital from 1970. It got it's stars then and that was the last investment and maintenance of the rooms and facilities. Bathroom had no shower or bathtub, just one poorly covered floor drain, so after the 15 min of shower the whole room, not just the batroom was flooded. The staff were uninterested to solve the problem knowing it didn't happen the first time.

location is perfect, the terrace on top has a great view on the Siracusa old town.
Staff is nice, barely speaking English but just enough to understand each other.
Cleaning service each day.
The internet connection on 3rd floor does not exist. We complained few times and noone resolved the issue.
Rooms are not soundproof so we needed earplugs to sleep because even the whisper from the other room can be heard.
Breakfast should definitelly be better for a 120+ euros per night hotel. At least more choices should be given.

Good location and clean room.
Internet connection was poor. Tv not functional. Breakfast was decent.

There was no warm water in the bath room. The staff did not understand English. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the price but instead of this, we received tickets which we could use in a bar but they did not give us breakfast but only a small cake...

The only thing that the hotel has going for it is it’s location. There are some nice views out to the water from the rooftop.
Air con was not working in 30+ degree heat. Hotel room felt like a sauna. Everything was fairly derelict. The price to quality ratio is an absolute joke. The breakfast is not in the hotel, but at a cafe nearby, where the staff are very rude and offer you a flimsy croissant and coffee, which has a value of around €2.
I rarely write reviews but this place is a joke. €170 a night (In August) and I’ve stayed at better hostels.

The location is good.
Ortigia is a magical, stunning and out of this world beautiful place. I booked this hotel for my parents and unfortunately, the experience was terrible for many reasons. First of, it's not much like the pictures. For example, they sell the option for a room with balcony but be aware is a common balcony area. The hotel starts at the first floor of a building, where a receptionist doesn't speak a word of english. The hotel is listed on booking.com which implies a certain international level of service, especially in a touristic place like Ortigia. Furthermore, he wasn't helpful at all, even with my Italian boyfriend. Basically, we had to help ourselves. He didn't seem to know anything regarding transportation back to Catania airport, or how to get to Neapolis greek theater with a private driver, or any information which could help clients, especially foreign tourists, enjoy their stay. Then it turned out that the room was burning hot, and the water coming out of the tap was red and rusty in the beginning. Eventually after one day one night of complaining, they were able to change their room. However, trouble didn't stop there. On the last day, my parents asked if they could stay one hour more then the check out hour, because they felt very tired. It's ok for it to be impossible but you cannot be rude and impolite in your answers to clients giving them the feeling of being kicked out. This was a terrible way to end a holiday.
