About this house rental

This Angel Fire retreat is on the golf course side of a angel Fire facing the ski mountain at 9,576 feet in elevation. We are approximately 3 miles away from the Lodge and Chile Express. The house sits on 10 thinned acres so the views and privacy are spectacular. This is our second home that we have lived in here. Angel Fire and the surrounding areas are gorgeous places in all the seasons.
Our home is 3 levels with the ability to drive right to the front door or down below to the lowest level. The main level has an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms on the this level. So easy for carrying in groceries and suitcases.
The lowest level has a bedroom with a king sized bed and full bathroom with tub/shower, a media room and a billiards room. The media room has a queen sized futon as well. The loft level is an open room with a queen bed and a full sized futon. The views from up there are even more dazzling. So overall, there are 2 king-sized beds, 3 queen-sized beds and 1 queen futon and a twin sized futon. So it sleeps 12-14 people with tons of room to spare.
On the main level, there is a large main room that has chairs and a couch as well as a huge window seat to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The fireplace is wood burning and has a gas lighting system for easy starting. The large kitchen has an island that seats four as well as a large workspace. The dining room table seats 10 -12 quite easily. The kitchen is fully equipped and has double ovens and a gas cooktop for feeding a full house.
The deck can be accessed from the dining room, living room and master bedroom. There is an outdoor dining table and extra chairs as well. There is a gas grill for those who want to cook outdoors too. Off of the master bedroom, there is a 5 person hot tub.
In the master bedroom, there is a king sized sleep number bed, with an en suite bathroom with a large shower, double sinks, water closet and walk-in closet. Also on the main level, there are 2 guest bedrooms equipped with Queen sized beds that share a large bathroom with a tub/ shower combination and double sinks. There is also a laundry room and a half bath for your convenience.
The lowest level has a king sized bed and full bathroom. The media room has a large smart TV and a view of the mountains as well. There is a pool table that converts to a ping pong table in the game room. There is also a dry bar and a sort of kitchenette and a refrigerator down there - for those who don’t want to go upstairs for their morning coffee or make popcorn for the movies.
Our home has radiant floor heating, 3 smart TV’s, Amazon Fire sticks, and great wifi. The national forest is very close and is easy to access by foot or your ATV. The wildlife is abundant with deer and elk easy to spot. We do - very very rarely- have other wildlife around and advise you not to leave food or trash in your car or on the porches and all trash must removed when you leave.
Our east facing view of the ski are and surrounding mountains is panoramic. The lights of Angel Fire can be seen in the distance at night.
Since we are so far up in elevation, four wheel or all wheel drive vehicles are a necessity in the winter. Well loved and trained pets are acceptable if they are completely house trained and are not left alone all day. Our black lab Grace and shepherd mix Cricket absolutely love it here. It’s so much more fun to go for a walk here than it is in our home just outside of Comfort, Texas.
Overall, our home is about 4,200 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 and a half bathrooms and 2 living areas, a billiard room and a loft/office. There is a detached garage as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Excellent property; awesome views; well stocked and functional kitchen. Property was well maintained and very clean. Owner was friendly and professionally responsive when we had questions. Told us we needed 4 wheel drive and she was right...pretty much a must if visiting during snow season. About 15 minute drive away from ski slopes but seclusion and privace of property made it worth the drive. Hope to visit again next winter and will not think twice about returning to this property.

Can’t say enough about this property nor our gracious owner. She communicated quickly and positively on everything! Didn’t need one thing this house did not provide. Truly a winter wonderland awaited us!!!!

The property was excellent! Very beautiful and spacious. The view was spectacular! We hired a local photographer and had family pictures taken. Can't wait to see them. The kitchen had everything needed and more! So impressed with this property, I would definitely stay here again.

The house was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were there for Thanksgiving and marveled at at well stocked the kitchen was with anything we could possibly think of. The place was spacious and had lovely views. Pool table and large TV downstairs for the kids was an added bonus.

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, we felt very at home. Nice and warm inside despite the extremely cold overnight temperatures outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Angel Fire exceeded our expectations with our stay in this beautiful home. Stunning views, tons of room where everyone could spread out, WiFi was excellent if you need to be connected, fully stocked kitchen (this part made life so easy.. no fear of not having the right kitchen tool or vessel to cook/bake), comfy beds and lots of inside activities for the kids and adults when it got dark or was too cold to go out. It felt like home away from home and we would absolutely come back.. anytime of year! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

What an amazing home, clean comfortable and the best view on the mountain. The entire family had personal space and a room of there own and still all be together. The home is wonderfully stocked with a great kitchen and play room for the kids.

We really loved this home. It was a perfect fit for our family's Thanksgiving trip. The house is fully stocked with tons of kitchen equipment and utensils, the game room has darts, ping-pong, and pool table. There are lots of sleeping areas. It seemed like everything was brand new. The host was very responsive when we reached out to her. And the views from the deck of this house are incredible. We would highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed the location and views provided by the house, it was exactly what we were looking for when planning our vacation. The sunrises in the morning are beautiful and you can see elk, deer, and the occasional bear as you sit in the hot tub. Carson National Forest is only a 10 minute walk away so you can start hikes from the house. The kitchen is very well stocked and the two living rooms have plenty of room the spread out. We truly enjoyed ourselves and recommend this house if you are looking for some privacy and to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
