About this house rental

Orange Treat is a fully-remodeled spacious modern farmhouse. She has tons of natural light with an open kitchen-dining area great for conversation and good eats. The living area is comfortable and large. Each of the bedrooms is quiet and cozy. Outdoor seating is located on the back patio in close proximity to the hot tub.
You will have access to a BBQ (propane) for your outdoor cooking and dining pleasure. A fire pit is available for those cool evenings.
There's easy access to walking trails as well as a city-built footbridge that leads directly to Main Street. 750 steps and you'll be at Hondo's and Crossroads Steak House.

The house is in a great location, walking distance to Main Street! Extremely clean, plenty of towels, linens were great, beds were comfy! My only recommendation would be a full length mirror somewhere😊 Fredericksburg was charming, we look forward to coming back to Karen’s house and to the cute little town!

Our group consisted of four couples who met in Fredericksburg for a long weekend to take winery tours. This house is on a quiet street across from a park and within easy walking distance of Main Street. It is clean and well-furnished and was a perfect fit for our group. We ate communal breakfasts every morning and enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was recently remodeled and was just beautiful. It had all the amenities that we needed. We are coffee/tea drinkers and loved all the coffee and creamers that were provided by the host Our adult kids enjoyed the hot tub! Didn't have time to enjoy the firepit but maybe next time. It was in a great location and easily walkable to the main street. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing festive weekend in Fredericksburg - and this house was what made it the best! Our stay was great because of the wonderful location, very clean, and nice amenities. We will definitely stay again if we can!

Great home! Had everything we needed. Love the layout, really fosters community and fun. Great kitchen, made 3 large meals and grilled. The location is perfect! The beds are super comfy. Plenty of towels and the hot water is HOT! Karen, the owner is very nice and responsive. Decided we’ll return next year to the same home. Thanks so much!

This was a great location and home for our girls trip. The inside of the home is beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought and planning went to making this a welcoming home. Perfect for entertaining. You had all the amenities and the host was absolutely wonderful with her communication. Great location to walk to a few main streets. Uber is reasonably priced when trying to get to restaurants etc. Cost to a vineyard that we went tovia Uber was $25 or so. Just a couple suggestion to the host: 1. the front door has glass panels with no covering. So at night time people can easily see into the house and we could barely see out (so if someone was starring at the house or something, we couldn't tell) - gave us the chills especially since it was just us ladies (the neighborhood seemed safe but you can never be too safe). 2. the master bedroom and bathroom both has uncovered windows as well. Recommend adding some blinds or something for safety reasons and also to prevent daylight from coming in and waking us up earlier than we wanted while on vacation :-) 3. Having additional cooking pans in the kitchen. When you are cooking for a large group you need a lot more pots/pans to cook all the various dishes. (this is just a nice to have - but was not a deal breaker at all) We had the best time and absolutely appreciated the home. Would highly recommend it.

We had such a great time staying at Karen’s property during our girls trip. The location was perfect for a stroll to dinner and drinks. The house was SO cute, with a perfect layout for a large group of girls. Also, the house was extremely clean with lots of amenities that you often forget on a trip. Karen was responsive to all our questions, and we appreciated the bottle of bubbly waiting upon our arrival. 100% recommend!! (Maybe a full length mirror could be added somewhere)

The house was perfect for our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room in the kitchen/dining area along with a large living room. Each couple had their own bedroom/bathroom and the kids shared the bunk bedroom. The "secret" room was a special touch for the kids too. The master suite was spacious and comfortable. We were able to enjoy the backyard with lighting and plenty of seating. While we didn't walk to Main Street, we were only 3 blocks away on the one end of town. Our host, Karen, was quick to respond and very helpful. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend others to stay.

The property was nicely decorated and updated with thoughtful attention to detail making our stay very comfortable. From the generous supply of toiletries/towels to the well appointed kitchen. Property was very walkable to Main Street, the large laundry room was great to store bicycles, large dining table was perfect for our large family and having three full showers with plenty of hot water was wonderful. Communication with host was prompt and instructions for entering property were very clear. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Karen was great at communicating with me up to and throughout our trip. The location of this property is ideal for easy access to Main St. The property was perfect for our group. Very clean and the showers/water pressures were incredible! The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would definitely come back again!

My entire family had a wonderful stay here. Plenty of room for everyone to still feel like you have privacy. Park across street was perfect for my kids to go and run around. The second you walk in you immediately feel the charm.

Came with family for the Christmas parade and the location was very convenient to Main St and walkable. The house was very clean and well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Karen, the host, communicated very timely and was super helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!

Property was awesome! Our Thanksgiving holiday was enhanced by staying here. -Everything about the house was fantastic. Very modern and well furnished. The kitchen and dining area could not have been better. Appliances, provided utensils, dishes, and silverware were perfect for our weekend. We loved the den and fireplace added more warmth to our visit. Karen. the host, communicated clearly, quickly, and answered all our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend this property.

We had 10 friends gather for a weekend in Fredericksburg and this VRBO was such a beautiful home for us all to relax in. Karen was very accommodating in getting us checked in, helping us navigate the home to find anything we might need, and was very communicative during the booking process. The location of the home was so perfect to stroll down main street for dinner and live music. All 10 of us slept wonderfully and comfortably.
