This was my first time in New Mexico and I was looking for a special place to stay to appreciate the history of Alburquerque. This lovely home was it! This historic house had so much charm and character! I was delighted to stay the Comfort Suite. As I was traveling for business, it was perfectly suited for my needs. I loved every detail that was seen to in the house, the plants, the artwork and preservation of so many of the historic features. I highly recommend!

Older home with good comfortable vibes. Loved the sun room and all the plants throughout . Neighborhood is walkable with some good breakfast options nearby. Appreciated the free coffee in the morning. Would stay again.

Thank you for making my Vacation so fun, convenient near Downtown Area and comfortable exploring experience.

Historic home, beautifully converted to feature themed rooms. We weren’t aware the rooms were themed. We recommend researching the property in advance to request a specific room that meets your needs. Keep in mind that if you are assigned a 2nd or 3rd floor room, you may gave to carry your bags up narrow staircases, which isn’t an option for some folks. Despite being caught by surprise by the theme, stairs and a noisy mini-split, our room was cozy and we’d stay again, just with a little more research and foresight.

I did not stay here because there was a homeless man in the parking area asking me for money. Didn't feel comfortable leaving my car there overnight. It is a shame because the room was adorable. The manager was very nice and gave a full refund after apologizing for what happened.

The location of this property is wonderful. The house is old but clean and comfortable. We stayed in the room that was an addition to the house. It was surrounded by windows. Although it was hot and humid outside, the room stayed cool. The house was quiet. Only sounds are the creaky floorboards that are characteristics of an old house. Tbe esthetics is not to my taste, but I will return in 2 weeks with my daughter even though the hotel theme is Brothelish and bohemian without the sleaze. I believe there is a 21 and older rule. Yeah!

Really cool place with a variety of room decor options. My room was blacklight art and accents. There was an option for normal light too if you need to get some work done. Close to the downtown area where art shows and lots of dining options.

The house was wonderful I just couldn’t walk into the neighborhood towards downtown because it was super unsafe.

This is a quaint old house that has been brought up to a high standard of comfort. The bed and chairs were very comfortable, and the atmosphere was homey. The proprietors left a couple of complimentary local beers that were excellent. When we visit Albuquerque again overnight, we'll book a room at El Cuervo, for sure!

The owners were awesome This place is like a old time boarding house. We sat on the porch in the evening and many of the guests would join us . I have never felt this welcome at a hotel. This place is is like it stepped out of the past where people are friendly and with a very relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stay there again

Was able to find location and parking easily. Beautiful room but could not turn off tv so room was lit throughout the night. Close to airport which was a bonus!

The atmosphere is unique: very cozy and original furniture. My room was very spacious. I only stayed one night, but im sure i could've enjoyed it for longer. Try the coffee places/deli around the house: great experience there too

I love El Cuervo: Its ambiance is cozy but not too stuffy or pretentious. I can walk around the neighborhood safely, which is a huge bonus in downtown Abq. I'm not a huge fan of the online check-in process, but that's a personal preference, and Stephanie was easy to reach and extremely patient with me. Thank you!

Main attractions a further walk than expected but close enough.

Lovely historic home on a tree lined street. We had the Kings Parlour room on 1st floor with private exit to the porch to enjoy our welcome gift (beer) and coffee in the morning. Could also keep an eye on our vehicle which held our bikes. Quick 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Unbelievably soft sheets and blankets.
Very peaceful and quiet. Others were staying there but really didn't hear them. Thumbs up!

Very quiet and comfy place. Exactly what I needed. They were very understanding as I continued to extend my stay, waiting for family. Immediate response to any questions I had. Also, within a beautiful historical building. Makes for an even more exciting experience….

I love staying in old houses/quirky places. Pros: convenient to downtown, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Old Town and highways. Coffee, tea and snacks available 24/7. Mini fridge in room. Clean place. Local craft beer in the fridge and 420-friendly if that's your thing. Only cons were creaky bed and creaky floors. I stayed in the Oddities room, which was nicely decorated, but the sink was across the room from the potty, which was a little awkward.

This property was lovely. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer setup. It had a very welcoming feeling from the moment you walk through the door. It was also 420 friendly which I really liked. I even received a token for a free pre roll from one of the local dispensaries. I would definitely recommend.

Cute house but air conditioning/heating unit was very difficult to operate and the window was broken, causing the room to cool.

Loved the king room we stayed in. Very comfortable, charming and well stocked. Owners were communicative, instructions were clear and easy to understand.

Beautiful historical home with works of local artists. Convenient location with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The host was extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent location from which to explore Albuquerque. We walked to Old Town, hiked in the mountains, explored the Petroglyphs, and cheered with fellow SuperBowl patrons at a local bar. Very enjoyable, and Brad and Steph were available for every need.

I would definitely stay again........ it's a very different experience and a welcoming ambience.... wish we could've stayed longer.

There were no shelves or drawers for clothing, no microwave even though there was a fridge, there was no desk for laptop work, if you're going to fly a pride flag you should balance it with an American flag. Owners were nowhere to be seen.

I loved staying at El Cuervo ABQ. It was a great experience, felt very at peace and comfortable. The host also provided two bottles of water and two local craft beers which made me feel especial and welcomed to this home.

The ambience

The management is responsive to texts and emails. They send all communication electronically which was a little overwhelming to deal with while we were traveling. Not meeting anyone during check in time or at breakfast made it feel kind of impersonal.
They have instant oatmeal and breakfast bars for breakfast which is nice. There are, however, no bowls and we weren't sure what to do with our dirty dishes.

the stay was good, the TV control was difficult to work, a Keurig in the room would have been nice, overall it was good

Very unique, charming, historic house. We were in The Brothel room with great AC. Brad and Stephanie were great. We enjoyed having coffee and chatting with others. Loved their dogs!
