Due to hurricane they were still under construction in some areas. The room was excellent the breakfast was excellent and the staff was helpful. I loved how private the balcony is. Overall stay 10.

We had a balcony which was perfect for the early morning sunrise. The hotel had suffered storm damage from the recent hurricane so not all facilities were available but the hotel did well in the circumstances.

We stayed there when running from Hurricane Helene.. brought my Mother in law and Father in law with me. My Mother in law has brain and lung cancer so traveling is very tiring for her. The ladies at the desk made sure that her room was up to par for her, doing a second check over before we went up just to make sure she had everything she needed to be comfortable and able to take a shower with a chair. They went over and beyond for us and it means more than they know! You could tell it was more than a job for them.. like she was family! The rooms were ocean view and was very clean w/ no issues! The breakfast was great and my In laws were very very happy with everything! Not sure of the ladies names but this was a lady looking to be in her 30s talk with dark brown hair and the head of cleaning, I think, was older lady with dirty blonde hair. Thank you 2 so much for a peaceful night!

We had to leave early due to a hurricane. They would not refund the 2 days we had to cut our trip short. The hotel room balcony door would not shut completely, so we had constantly had water coming in. The AC barely worked, and it leaked onto the floor. There was hardly any parking, by the way you have to pay for parking, and a majority of the time we had to park across the street, and barely any handicap parking. Probably the worst hotel experience i have had. Do not stay here.

Check in went smooth then downhill from there.Entrance door to room very hard to open.Door handle very loose after swiping card several times to get in. Air gaps around 3 sides of door. door would not close by itself. Sliding door to balcony was a joke. Very hard to open and close. Ice machine on 2nd floor leaking water onto hallway floor.

I did not stay due to my hotel room door not being able to lock. My Birthday is on Monday 9/23. I booked a room with partial ocean view. Due to my room not being able to lock I checked out and didn’t stay. I was very disappointed and had to travel two hours and thirty minutes back home. This really ruined my Birthday!

Great place to stay. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast was good and a decent variety of choices. Parking was not bad but could have more spots available. Coffee could use some improvement especially creamer choices. Oceanview perfect.

The staff at Hampton Inn Daytona Shores is super helpful. The breakfast was organized and constantly being restocked. The front desk folks are kind and thoughtful as elderly folks checking out were very confused about the process. With great patience the Front Desk manager explained in detail. Lovely setting right on the beach and don’t miss Porto Fino Italian Restaurant across the street!

Everything about the hotel, staff, pool, beach area, breakfast and the room we had with a great view i would give a 5 star what we found to be an issue was the $25 daily charge for essentials plus the $16.16 daily charge for parking, there is no notification of these charges when booking online, i asked about these charges and was told that some of it is credited back but to charge $16.16 for parking is absolutely a ripoff, you are already paying for a room how are you suppose to get there in an Uber

I had a great view of the beach. The staff was nice and courteous. The property was tired. The bed however slept decent. Odd, I was placed in a handicap room although I'm not handicap nor was the hotel filled to capacity. The breakfast was good. A lot of sand on the lobby floors and in pool. Pool area was left askew and not straightened up at all during my three night stay. I still have not received my 'emailed' receipt.

I loved the location of this hotel, directly on a quiet beach. Only issue was parking. However, it was a holiday weekend and crowds were to be expected. Because of that, I had to rely on food delivery. I’m sure, had it been a regular weekend, this wouldn’t have mattered. Also, they had coffee available all day, we loved that. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. I definitely will come back.

We have stayed here a few times and we have loved it here every time. We love the easiness of accessing the beach and the unlimited coffee. The free breakfast is also nice. The pool is also very enjoyable although our last visit, the pool was pretty dirty and gross. The limited parking is the only issue that we have ever ran into. We would definitely stay here again.

Oh man. We were so excited to just get out of Orlando to relax overnight at what we thought was a reputable hotel chain. Instead we got: - to stand in a line that was out the door and had to wait over an hour to check in because they ran out of rooms for sime guest, the lone worker didn’t want to tell everyone so she het busy and made no eye contact. -when we finally did check in we were met with no working elevator – we were on the sixth floor and We had multiple bags. There was only one guest elevator and one service elevator. It was a mess as guests we had to coordinate Ourselves. Thankfully, everyone behaved, lol. You finally got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. The room appeared to be clean with a nice ocean view however we want to take a shower or met with the non-draining top so we were taking a shower & a bath Simultaneously, which kind of canceled each other out. Because of The inconveniences I asked for a late check out, As a courtesy, the new person behind the desk told me it would be $25 for one hour. I figured it was an opportunity for them to try and make something right, but I was wrong. Very consistent. Disappointed overall.

I most of time stay with Hampton during traveling, but this one is so far the worst, very old facilities, old elevator working very slow and not smooth, Lobby is old and the floor doesn’t looks clean, the patio door in our room can barely be opened, the ice machine in the corridor smells bad, very limit choice for breakfast, and table and chairs are old too, this hotel over all not well maintained, and not under a good management, not clean and fresh like all other Hampton inn I have stayed in. Not worth the money for this hotel. Location is good just by the ocean, far from the pier and main dining area, I don’t think I will be come back to this Hampton Inn.

Roach eggs and filth at fridge in room . The wall is fully cracked above sink in bathroom . Front desk clerk does not care I had to go purchase my own cleaning supplies and clean the room so my family wouldn’t get sick . Front desk does not answer the phone when calling them from the room . The rack that they put towels on in the bathroom is full of rust . I couldn’t cancel due to I booked through Expedia so now that taught me to never use Expedia again .

I didn’t like that you have to pay for parking if you are a guest . So it’s not in the total of your bill. I really wish I had known that in the beginning . But oh well. The pool was amazing !! And the convenience access to the beach was great !

Really liked the oceanfront room and closeness to ocean. Enjoyed the pool. Liked the hot breakfast choices. Did not like the really tight parking and hard to find an open space at night. Did not like that our room safe did not work. Balcony door had a loose handle on balcony side, was afraid it could break and lock me on the balcony. Yes I would stay there again.

Was not clean, and we understand it's a busy season and short staff is every where.....but the pool has mold all around the rim and sliding doors in your rooms you can barely open they are so rusted and old. Seems the hurricane really did some damage to this one. It really needs a gut and refresh. We love staying at Hampton inn hotels, but this one has to be the worst we have seen.

The photos on the website are somewhat deceiving. This hotel wasn't all that great. It was dirty and the front desk lady that checked us in was the same one that checked us out. She was pretty rude both times. The others seemed much happier. Her customer service skills were terrible. Not a hello or a thank you. I almost asked for her manager but decided to just leave. The rooms were decent. I expected a little bit better, pretty outdated and the bathrooms had absolutely no storage room for toiletries, etc. The beach access was nice but that's about the only thing. The pool was dirty (hairballs floating in it). Decent breakfast. Won't be staying there again and if I was able to get a refund for our two night stay, I definitely would. The Daytona Beach Shores is a very nice area with very nice beaches.
