Allocated an accessible room. Doors need to open automatically or stay open while entering as access difficult. Lift was very tight and difficult to access. Access to restaurants not possible because of steps . Needs a ramp either from hotel or street. Accessible route convoluted and dependent on functioning lift. Room needs usb points.

A really excellent service - rooms modern, comfy and clean with lovely products and fluffy towels. The hotel staff are always ready to help - nothing is too much trouble - and the bar was fabulous - lovely atmosphere and friendly vibe.

Great hotel, lovely bar area and restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, large and spotless, and this time we had the added bonus of a balcony which was lovely. As ever though, it is the staff that often make a place special, and the staff here whether on reception, the bar or the restaurant, are just wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Overall very good. Pillows need an upgrade mind.

Catfished by the photos on the listing. Showed all exposed brick and airy rooms but what we got was like a tired travelodge.
The shower controls were awful, the shower had hardly any pressure.
The bathroom had some kind of touch sensor which hardly worked and at one point the lights were going up and down on their own.
The floors were super creaky old wood which was well worn.
Would not come back.

Great hotel. Great location.

We always enjoy staying at this hotel & the staff are all helpful & friendly.
Our room was really nice. However, had no view as faced onto the back. Made it hard to gauge the weather.
I also felt the room lacked a dressing table with mirror & plug pint nearby. We would however stay again.
We stayed here as were attending an event that had a few late nights. That meant we would sometimes leave the room later. No matter how late we left the room was always serviced.

Really comfortable stay. Room a good size and the bed was up there with the best hotel beds ive ever slept in. Would stay again.

Great hotel in a great location. Handy for the town centre and the docks. The family loved the breakfast! Our second visit and I'm sure we will return.

This is my favourite hotel in Liverpool. I have stayed here many times over the past 9 years since my daughter moved to Liverpool. It's nice to stay in a quieter part of the city. It's a bit pricey compared to other hotels but still worth it.

Really unfriendly and perfunctory check in and check out. Unresponsive and disinterested in anything I had to stay.

Best hotel in Liverpool, classy, good value, quiet at night. Very helpful staff. Located perfectly in the city centre but just off the main drag so not constant noise.

We have stayed at Hope St Hotel a number of times over the years and the service remains excellent. Unfortunately the room we had was a bit jaded and well used. The breakfast was a great start to the day. This hotel is well positioned for theatres and restaurants, in a lovely part of Liverpool.

1. Parking was nearly 1/2 mile away in a very scuzzy area.
2. Poor lighting in bathroom; kept dimming for no apparent reason & touch panel control was very inconsistent.
3. Bedroom area too small; furniture squeezed together while bathroom was large enough to dance in !
4. Air conditioning was too noisy to use and duvet too heavy, so too hot.
5. Bathroom space for storage was inadaquate; only vanity beneath basin and window ledge

We liked our stay at Hope Street Hotel. 2 things we didn’t like: there was a smell of varnish in the room and the shower had no panel causing water to splash all around the bathroom.

One of my favourite hotels, stayed four times now. Every room is a joy. Staff are fabulous. Beautiful place.

The hotel was excellent.Very clean and modern with a minimalist feel but superbly comfortable.
Breakfast was good - only slight issue for us was that our table was very small and we struggled to get in and out of the back seats.

Chic, thoughtful Reno of a historic bldg in GREAT location - away from the noise and parties but close enough to walk to port and Cavern Club. Cathedral a block away, Uni a block in the other direction. A great resto & spa.

We adored this hotel! Clean, newly appointed features in the room, and great overall hotel amenities. We would stay again!
We also loved the neighborhood it sits within. We were able to walk easily to many areas of interest, including a relatively easy 30-minute walk to enjoy the scene and get to the Royal Albert Dock. We highly recommend the Philharmonic Dining Room for dinner across the street from the hotel.

Great hotel in a convenient location. Room, check-in/check-out, communal areas, bar were all faultless. Will stay again next time we are in Liverpool.

Stayed overnight at this beautiful spa hotel. When we arrived the staff were welcoming and we were delighted to hear that we’d been upgraded to a suite! The corner suite was fantastic, very modern with views of the cathedral and the Liver Building. Nice balcony, bed extremely comfortable and massive bath (fits two in nicely) and wet room waterfall shower. The hotel is in a beautiful part of Liverpool very near the Liverpool Philharmonic and cathedrals, lots of good bars, restaurants nearby too. We didn’t have time to visit the spa but definitely will next time we visit. Would definitely recommend, very luxurious and comfortable.

Had a great time at this hotel. I chose it mostly because I was familiar with the area having lived there in the past, so knew it was in a Goldilocks zone. Between both cathedrals, it offers easy access to Liverpool Lime Street, shopping areas and even the docks are not an unreasonable distance while being out of the way of the most lively parts of this side of the city centre.
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic is right across the street, so if you’re into throwing stones, you could literally do just that and hit the front of the building. Personally, I’d stick to the proverbial stone’s throw which is exactly how far the Everyman Theatre is from this hotel.
My room had an open plan bathroom, so there was a lot of space making it easy for one person to soak in the bath and another to enjoy a shower. The sleeping area was a good size, comfortable and clean.
Staff there were really friendly and helpful, making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. This is definitely a hotel I would return to and recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool.

Hope Street Hotel is my favourite hotel in the UK.
The hotel itself is lovely, however the staff (specifically Rosa) always make me feel welcomed back and take a genuine interest in how life and work are going.
I could not recommend Hope Street Hotel higher.

Good location. Nice hotel. Not so hospitable regarding early check in or late check out. (Within 30min). The pools are not part of the stay which was not clear booking on Expedia.

Hope Street Hotel was probably one of my best hotel stays on any trip I’ve had in the last 5 years. The staff was extremely friendly, the room and service were near perfect, and the surrounding area provided so much to do. Highly recommend booking a room here if you plan on visiting Liverpool!
