Nice hotel and good location to the old part of St Malo.
4.1
Perfect for the short visit we had planned in a great area and with friendly staff!
4.1
Room was very comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. I don’t think the breakfast was worth the money that it cost which is why I haven’t rated it five stars. Convenient for the ferry terminal which is why we stayed there.
4.1
Location was very good - near the seawall/beaches and walking distance to the walled town but far enough away to not be in the midst of busy tourist area. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast was typical but good.
4.1
Clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet. Room with view of ocean. Public parking in front of hotel. Wish it had a little fridge and a tub. Wanted to try the restaurant but it was closed when we stayed (Monday). Location was a quieter part of the area, far from the touristy area.
4.1
Truly kind attendant at the front desk! Tiny but clean single bed room with a lovely bathroom on the top floor, great view!
4.1
Excellent location 2 minutes walk from seafront; next to harbour; 5 minutes walk from old walled town with lots of shops and restaurants. Pay parking 1 minute walk away - with electric chargers. Reception with well-stocked bar, good breakfast. Rooms fine but some furniture looking worn.
4.1
Straightforward hotel, near the seafront. We used it for one night before getting on the ferry. Which it was totally fine for. We stayed in the family room with two adults and two (almost teenagers) and there was enough room.
4.1
A small hotel with friendly staff who made us feel very welcome.

It doesn't seem like there are any view rooms. Parking in the adjacent plaza is pay parking. Beware of ticket if you don't pay with meter. Service is good and breakfast good too though no warm food items. Walking distance to the old walled city; a big plus.
4.1
Great location. Just a short walk to the beach and about 15 minutes walk to the old city. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Bed could have been more comfortable and the room was very warm. But clean and modern.
4.1
Excellent hotel in great location. Spacious room with good bed. Very good breakfast. Good value for money.
4.1
Overall a very nice smallish hotel. The location makes it close enough to walk to the cornich from the hotel. The room was on the smaller side but normal for Europe. Nicely remodeled and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Nice stuff very friendly and helpful thanks for your hospitality
4.1
Lovely clean hotel in the middle of the train station and harbour.
4.1
Warmly welcomed, clean room with a nice view. Would recommend.
4.1
the staff team very friendly and always ready to help guests on local and tourism issues.
4.1
Parking is good/ cheap and right outside the Hotel. The reception area is nice and the reception was warm every time we entered. The room was small but had everything you need for a stay ( we were there 5 nights). The shower was really nice. TV had some UK TV stations! If there had been Air Con that would have been PERFECT, but you can easily get a nice cool breeze as your near the sea.
The Breakfast was Acceptable with a selection of breakfasts.!
The Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk to the walled town.
We would definitely go back for a cheap, clean, nicely located hotel!

The hotel is good, clean good size room for France.
4.1
Good room for a weekend stay. Cozy, and comfortable. Very little place to hang things, but only true complaint would be that the detachable part of the shower didn’t attach to the wall, so I couldn’t shower handsfree, but other than that, it was a great place to stay! 15 minute walk from the train station, and 10 minutes from the old city.
4.1
Great location, just 5 minute walk from the walls. Does the job for the rate that you pay. Comfy clean beds and clean bathroom
4.1
Close to the beach and within 15 mins walking into the centre. Friendly staff, warm, clean rooms, if a little small. Value for money.

Gobsmacked. Even though I had the confirmation etc from this website the owner had given away our room leaving my husband and two young children stranded after a very long journey across France with no room for an overnight stay on one of the busiest nights in August before the ferry in st malo. I had booked the hotel ten months ago and had had several reminder of the confirmation from hotels.com in the lead up to our stay even on the day. But as it was a long time ago it was on an older debit card. The manager (who knew exactly who we were when we walked in and looked worried) has apparently tried my card on the day we were arriving and it was declined (she showed me the receipt). But rather than contact me or hotels.com to let me know and ask for an alternative card, she simply gave our room away. This website is asking for my review so it is obvious she never cancelled on the system.Completely unacceptable as with our booking she was not supposed to take the money until people stay. All she kept saying was “credit card not good” like a parrot. I rarely lose my temper but I have to say I was furious. She knew she was in the wrong but obviously she had got greedy. We luckily found a very nice (and cheaper hotel) in st malo old town which was very lucky as not many hotels have family rooms at short notice. To be honest once we were over our shock, we were glad we weren't going to be staying here as it was pretty grim on a busy junction opposite some sort of ship yard.

Hotel was clean with friendly staff. Rooms a little small but overall very good. Location convenient for the walled city and buses to the surrounding area.

We stayed here as we were catching the ferry to Portsmouth the following morning. Great location by the beach, harbour and a short walk to the beautiful old walled town. We received a warm welcome, a clean room with a nice shower and a comfy bed. It was only 5-7 minutes drive to the ferry port and was perfect for our situation. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, excellent staff. Property was very good. The elevator is a bit small (used the stairs), and parking was not free as advertised in Expedia. Otherwise very good.

Title says it all really. The 'wardrobe' consisted of 4 lime green hangers on wires suspended from the ceiling and in my way when walking from my side of the bed to anywhere else. Loo, exit, mirror. How I resisted the urge to rip them down I will never know.
No aircon. Had to park 200+m from hotel. Over £10 for bread, Danish, ham and cheese at breakfast. Location and staff good though.

We wanted a hotel just as a stayover before getting the ferry the next morning. The hotel was excellent - an easy walk into the old town for dinner and 10 minutes from the ferry port the next day.
We stayed in a family room with our 2-year-old and the hotel provided a cot for us to use and the room was spacious and very nice.
We were made to feel very welcome and had a delicious breakfast before setting off - including homemade goodies such as cake and flan.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back.

Ideally pkaced for a short walk into the old town.
Car parking directly outside which is handy
4.1
The hotel is well located: 0,5 miles from the old city and 0,1 miles from the beach. The staff is extremely attentive. The room is comfortable. The only (slight) negative point is that if you arrive by car, you will need some luck to find a place to park.
4.1
Very friendly and helpful.Small room but everything you need for a short stay.Excellent.Will stay again.
4.1
A very decent hotel only a 10 minute walk from the old town.

We only stayed one night before catching the ferry, but were pleasantly surprised but this hotel. It is nicely decorated, modern and clean. Just 5 mins from the ferry in the morning, and a short walk to explore the walls and old town in the late afternoon when we arrived. The only downside was that the blinds let in a lot of light in the bedroom.
4.1
So so at best. The host was very friendly and affable, helping us out with most of what we needed. Unfortunately that's all I can offer on the positive side. The room decor was straight out of 1973: orange and brown. Awful. The lighting was atrocious. Very dim and dark. The Wi-Fi didn't work. No air conditioning. No wardrobe. Very limited space for clothes or cases. No drawers. Not enough power points (it was either have light or charge a phone!). No blinds or nets: being right at the front of the hotel meant everyone outside had a clear view into the room, and with curtains closed you couldn't see much! Overall, very poor value for money.

Small room but very comfortable. Modern and clean washroom. Excellent location close to the okd St-Malo.

Just right walking distance from Saint malo also to the train station nice friendly staff only fault was the shower it worked ok but because of angle it was on it was flooding the bathroom all the time .
