Amazing hospitality, clean, comfortable and modern rooms and great food. Love the plants around the room and every room has great views of the volcano!

This was an excellent place to spend our vacation during visit in La Fortuna. We will be coming back here for sure during our next trip.

The staff was amazing! They had a culture of service and exceeding expectations. When checking in, I wandered over to the concierge desk jokingly stating that “I wanted to see a sloth” The young lady suggested that they were most active in the morning by the main pool. Shortly after checking into our room I received a call from the same lady saying they know where there is one and offered to pick us up in the room and take us there. They did just that. What a great experience. A great resort, with great rooms and excellent service. Mitch and Cindi

Beautiful property, recently renovated hot springs area. Excellent, friendly service.

The hotel is amazing everything from the maintenance to the overall experience is truly 5 star.
The room attendant who cleaned my room did a fantastic job. My room was always well cleaned and organized.
However, I found the staff behavior a bit odd. No matter where I went in the hotel, they constantly asked me where I was from. It seemed that once they realized I was local, from Costa Rica, the quality of customer service declined. They appeared to treat international guests better than locals. That’s my only concern, but aside from that, the hotel and its amenities are excellent.

Arenal Manoa and the staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay feel luxurious and to accommodate your needs. They welcomed us with a celebratory gift for our anniversary, included housekeeping turn down service twice a day. The staff was so respectful and helpful and amenities were well-maintained and kept in clean condition. Will definitely be coming back to this property again, you definitely can't beat the view of the volcano from your bedroom window!

It was even more amazing than our already high expectations. Our room view was worth the price alone. The restaurant is great, pool and new series of hot spring tubs in the natural gardens is a destination in itself. It was honestly perfect.

The property was beautiful, the view of the volcano was breathtaking, and the staff were great.
The thermos at the facility were nice but there were only two; a pool bar, and a large hot tub-like one. We were told that there are 7 more thermals being added soon.
The included buffet on site was excellent in terms of food quality, service, and ambiance.
The staff would prep your room for bed by making the bed while you’re out I. The morning, and changing the linens for bedtime. They’d do this daily. The staff even left a wonderful note congratulating me on my retirement along with a desert plate of chocolates.
In short, I’ve stayed I. This area many times; and we loved this place, especially on how budget friendly it was for the quality.

It was a great experience. From the location, the view to the employees. It was just an amazing and positive experience. Every single one of the staff in the restaurants, lobby, drivers, everyone was super nice and friendly. The food was delicious, the view to the volcano and all the nature around us was just breathtaking. The only negative was that the mattresses were a too firm for us and the restaurant prices were a bit too high. But I do understand that it is a 4 stars a La Carte restaurant. I would definitely recommend this resort and I will definitely come back to visit.

Beautiful grounds, lovely amenities. Lots of opportunities to spot local animals. There was a large cockroach in our bathrooms, but we excepted bugs. Bring old sneakers because we encountered deep mud puddles on our excursions. Overall a great hotel and delicious restaurants.

Simply awesome! Loved the experience of staying in rain forest. All the units are separated and seems like that you are staying in your own private property!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR FAMILIES AND GROUPS. What an amazing place. Upon arrival the staff greeted us like we were repeat customers. They quickly checked us in and even met my request to have our rooms near the restaurant. the rooms are actually small cabins with spectacular views of the volcano and native fauna. The buffet breakfast was amazing and had great variety, the lunch and dinners were also great. The resort has a great pool area with swim up bar and adjoining hot spring. the areas and rooms were always kept very clean by the staff. The resort is large and they have golf carts and buses to ferry you around the complex, or like many , you can walk. the location is 5 minutes from the town and near many tasty restaurants, and local sodas too.

Reception staff did an outstanding job of helping to arrange transportation for our trip from the airport, any trip into town, as well as other excursions. Transportation staff (especially Freddy!) were friendly and hospitable. The grounds were beautiful and rooms were very clean and comfortable. We hope to come back again some day!

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The property and the bungalows are beautiful. The natural surroundings are stunning. We stayed at the junior suite and the room was spacious and very nicely furnished. The welcome drinks, sweets, and special treat we got for my husband's birthday were extra special. The pools are great, and the drinks and food were good too. The service at times could have been better, but otherwise, we really enjoyed our time there, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved this resort and definitely want to come back! The rooms were awesome, ours had a great view of the volcano. The food was excellent, I had a "life changing" pear & buratta salad. The staff were super friendly. Great for kids and adults alike!

Manoa is beautiful! The staff is the best! We stayed at a Chato room and the view of the Arenal Volcano is magnificent. The staff went above and beyond...our house keeping lady, Petrona asked if she could come in for housekeeping one day and we told her no because our daughter was feeling a bit sick from her stomach. In less than 10 minutes front desk (Valeria) called asking how my daughter felt and if there was anything they could help us with. They asked the property chef to do a chicken soup for her, not on thw menu at all, brought it to her with a club soda. They followed up that afternoon to see how she was feeling. Now that is what I call excellent customer service! A gentleman named Cesar that helped with transportation was such a nice and helpful individual...my girls wanted to see a sloth during our stay and wvsryday he looked for one and called us to go see it until we finally did! I jist cannot say enough nice things of this property! This has been one of our favorite stays in Costa Rica! Thank you Manoa for your excellent customer service and for knowing us by name and making us feel like family at all times ❤️

Their free wifi is terrible! Doesnt work. We get a free upgrade through our expedia account. The front desk guy said there were no rooms since we could only upgrade to the next level, which was fine. We saw the another room that we wanted to upgrade to and was willing to pay difference. It was on expedia. The front desk guy said said the room was triple on their website, which was a lie, i checked and it wasnt. He gave us a really hard time and would not upgrade us with the expedia price even though our reservation was through expedia and we were willing to pay different. We ended up not upgrading since it was 8 pm and wanted a ridiculous amount of money to upgrade. Hot springs at this resort wasn't anything special either. The only thing nice was the view from breakfast restaurant.
