It was a good hotel for last minute stay. Bed wasn’t the comfiest and the white towels had what appeared to be makeup stains. But the room was large the location was convenient. The hotel itself is an older hotel so I’m sure they can only do so much.

Lovely stay. The girl at the front desk was very helpful. Very quiey and pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

We reserved 2 rooms with two Queen beds. The hotel said we had one room with two twins. We specified one accessible room. Took over an hour to get something close. Calling the “accessible” room accessible is a joke. It does have grab bars in the BATHTUB, but the bathroom door cannot be opened unless the hallway door (to the public corridor) is open as there is no way to get a walker or wheelchair in otherwise. As for the beds, it is 3:45 am and I am on my fourth pain pill. Utterly miserable. And the AC leaks water onto the slick fake wood floor, creating a tripping hazard. Only two of six power outlets worked and none of the built in charging ports worked. Truly awful. The staff was friendly and attempted to be helpful, but the initial booking snafu left them few options.

Very outdated. Pictures are not accurate. Breakfast was okay but you had to use Dixie cups for drinks. First room we were in had a noisy ac and they did switch rooms for us, but the new room had an ac that was just as loud. Bathtub was moldy and they didn’t have any clean towels. Dead bugs were on the floor. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. There are several hotels in the area. I recommend avoiding this one.

Stayed 4 nights for a family visit. Two of the nights were WAY over priced due to a Texas A&M game. Those two nights we were charged $349.49 and $469.49, respectively. We only had certain days we could visit and had stayed there before. Not again! No bag in ice bucket, empty tissue box, carpet in hall had huge humps where carpet needs stretched which I tripped on, small ants in room. Employees were SUPER nice.

My mattress was fair. The bathroom was clean, but only stocked with 1 washcloth in a room with 2 double beds. My co-worker was kind to opt out of needing a washcloth. The employees were all tremendously kind and easy to cmmunicate with. The breakfast was mid, although the attendant was doing the best she could. I made her aware that the fridge was only cooling to 60 degrees so the milk wasn't held at a correct temp.

Have stayed here several times over the past five years. The condition of the hotel is definitely deteriorating. Hallway carpets loose and pulled up in middle of hall…VERY big tripping hazard, especially for older folks. Not enough towels provided, had to go to front desk to get more, even though gave number traveling when making reservation; and one towel had unknown black stuff all over it. Breakfast was okay, not a large selection. Breakfast staff was SUPER nice and friendly, though.

Slept comfortably! Hotel is in need of some TLC. Shower head fell off (ouch on the toe), very skimpy on towels, carpet in hallway is aged, etc.

So this place was available, price was decent. But in need of a makeover. Property was not what I would call "really clean" but the room was comfortable. No complaints really, and staff was nice. But next time, I will probably look for a place a little nicer.

Terrible lodging that holds you hostage since you are there and you do not want to start searching for another hotel on short notice:
- Broken refrigerator that front desk refused to fix and refused to change the room.
- Broken and badly patched TV cabinet.
- clunking and therefore loud in room HVAC system.
- Rude and unaccommodating staff.

Dirty blankets, wasp in room , no maid service

The water in the pool was green with algae so no swimming. The carpets throughout the hotel had wrinkles and the hot water in the shower took forever. The rooms were relatively clean and the breakfast was average. Expected a little nicer based on the reviews, probably wouldn't stay here again.

I booked this hotel as an emergency and the service and attention was wonderful. Next day they assisted with extending the reservation if it was needed. Thank you for being available.

They charge my credit card on Aug 14. When I went to the hotel on Aug 15, they did not have any room for me even though I had made reservation more than a month in advance. There was no apology. They just overbooked.
I ended up staying at another hotel, paid 150$ extra. They still haven't provided refund yet. Very poor customer service. Surprisingly, there were other customers in the same boat....

No hot water for 5 nites
6.0 / 10.0
The hot water system is out for the two nights we stayed.
They also run out of quarters for the laundry service. According to the google map, the nearby gas station for the quarters is about 15 minutes walk…
The room is clean but looks a bit old and has a smell because of the wet climate or the old building.

Tired but clean. Getting a change of towels is way more complicated than it should be

We liked the easy check in and out process. The cleanliness of the place could improve with items such as the sheets. Our room was very humid on arrival with no air on and it seemed to make everything including the sheets and towels smell.

Bathtub would not drain. Key would not open door. No staff would answer the phone and no one was ever at front desk. Rust in bathroom and doors.

When we got there a lamp didn't work. Maintenance had already left (wasn't even 4pm) so we had to go get a lightbulb and change it. There wasn't a tv remote for the bedroom so we had to make multiple trips to the lobby for them to give us a different remote to try. We had to end up reprogramming a remote to get it to work but it still wouldn't turn the TV on/off. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. When we got up to go the restroom in the middle of the night we had to kill a roach in the bathroom. After a long few days of traveling, we just wanted to relax but we weren't able to do that with having to take care of getting the stuff that should have been taken care of by the hotel. I will definitely not recommend this hotel or ever stay at another one.

the cleanliness of this place was awful! We were given a dirty room, I requested to have the room cleaned and the dirty towels were refolded and placed back on the rack!!! Had to go down to the desk to request new towels. My family will NEVER stay at this place again.

Was happy to have a room after the hurricane in Houston knocked out our power, but we did t get the room we had reserved and the one we got wasn’t super clean. The night manager had to make the room ready herself since housekeeping didn’t. She was as helpful as she could be. The hotel itself is in need of repair and updating.

Filthy hallways and stairwells. Room had an odor and was musty. 1 tiny waste paper basket in the bathroom for the entire unit. 3 tissues left in the kleenex box and over 2 days no staff attempted to fix it after being informed.
Bed was comfortable. Lots of parking. Rooms were a good size.

Key cards didn't work x4. Finally the next day, they agreed to change rooms. Very thin and useless towels. Not enough towels, etc. First room had central heat/ air. AC unit in 2nd room was noisy and was a window unit. .

Too noisy too much stomping at night I called because I was trying to put my newborn to sleep and they continued to do it purposely called again no response from front desk.
3.0 / 10.0
Check in took a little while even though I was the only one checking in. There was only 1 wash cloth and 2 towels for a family of 3. One bed did not have a mattress cover on it only a sheet and comforter. The overall cleanliness of the room and hotel was awful.

This hotel is struggling! Location is good and looks fine from the outside but it looks like they are trying to save money every which way and it sadly shows. No housekeeping during the stay, which would be fine, if room was properly stocked. We were given a 1/3 roll of toilet paper for stay, so had to go to front to ask for more. The phone doesn't work. The alarm wasn't plugged in so we didn't bother. The room was old and dated and I wasn't confident in the cleaning. The hallways are the same ... carpet raised off the floor in hallway is a safety risk. Breakfast was awful. Waffle maker not working. Biscuits, sausage and gravy and none appealing and often running out. Bread was stale. No fruit. Lumpy Oats. No butter. No eggs. Probably the worst I've seen in many hotel stays that included breakfast. We won't be back.

It was a nice stay, carpet/floors need updated in stairwell and hallway. Towels (Bath) are very thin. Cable TV/internet needs updating couldn’t watch Netflix or any other streaming platforms.
6.0 / 10.0
The room was nice and clean. I liked the tile floor throughout, AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable. The lobby was outdated, homey, and the carpet throughout the hallways was bubbled which almost caused me to fall from tripping on them (1st, 4th and stairway closest to pool flooring, didn’t see the other 2 floors or stairwell). The stairwell I went down was also dingy and had dead bugs on the carpet. The pool was warm but the hot tub was the same temperature, and there was no way to turn on the jets. Also, broken tiles lined the pool area. The staff were nice but one of the staff members allowed her children to run in and out of the roped off kitchen area unattended (not dining area) which seemed like a safety concern (this was during the hours the kitchen was closed). The breakfast staff attendant was overwhelming and hovering over me as I was making a waffle. I know she was trying to be helpful but didn’t appreciate her getting my bagel out of the toaster with ungloved fingers. I stepped away for a second to set other stuff down and there wasn’t a line for the toaster. I was a bit annoyed by this. Especially, not knowing if she had washed her hands after wiping down tables. There was a decent array of choices for breakfast though. Overall, it was okay and for the price it was fair.

Facility was clean and rooms were in great condition.

Hotel is dated. Our room had wall damage and stains on the wall, stains on bed coverings, moldy smell, and internet wifi didn’t work. It felt dirty.
3.0 / 10.0
Hotel was a 7/10 for the price based on comps in the area.
Front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Room was nice, either remodeled in the past 15 years or kept well.
Negatives: needs better pillows. I got 4 for a king single, but they were way too fluffy (note to self- bring your own)
Breakfast - very little grab and go. A handful of stale bagels and the usual warm”ish” scrambled eggs and sausage, cold cereal, and make your own waffles.
Decent coffee though.

We went to check in and the lady gave the guest before me someone else’s room. So first impression wasn’t great. We get to our room go to dinner come home there is water everywhere on the floor the water sprinkler was leaking and it was everywhere. We had to move rooms. Breakfast was horrid! At 8 am there wasn’t any cereal left. They didn’t have coffee nor did they have the hot food they had a few stale biscuits and a few stale bagels. My kids weren’t able to eat anything. Part of the reason we picked the place was bc of the pool which was lovely! The breakfast is a joke and I had to spend more money to go else where to get them a decent breakfast. I had to clean the bathtub I would be happy to show pics of how nasty the tub was and I had to clean it myself. The night lady who was African American was very sweet and kind and helpful and did what she could to assist. Terrible experience and waste of money. They pull out couch every single metal bar could be felt my kids weren’t able to sleep bc the pull out was in such horrid condition.

I would highly advise that you find somewhere else to stay. If I could give it a 0 I would. The tub was not clean, there was a roach in the room, and the knob from the curtains hit the window all night as the AC blew so we were unable to get any rest. I immediately told the front desk staff my concerns after viewing the room. She came and sprayed the tub and then said it was clean, which it was not. She claimed it was just rust in the tub. I was scheduled to stay two nights but requested a refund for one night because the room was not up to par. I had to spend extra money to go to another hotel. The GM refused to refund me and stated she would give me a discount on my next stay because I booked through a third party "and they pay them a hefty commission." As if I would ever stay there again. The pictures posted on the website do not coincide with the in person experience. It is an older hotel that needs to be updated as there is also a smell in the hallways (I'm guessing from the old carpet) which I overlooked. The sink in the bathroom was cracked also. After seeing the roach I didn't even attempt to taste the breakfast. I would avoid this place at all cost.
Pro - the night front desk staff Kristen I believe was her name was nice although she was unable to assist with anything. However, the front desk manager had a tone when I spoke with her the following morning as if I was just pulling things out of thin air, and the General Manager wasn't any better
