Public areas were impressive & enjoyable. The rooms, on the other hand, was tired dimly lit, and had minimal facilities. Staff were either excellent or not interested. Overall, not worth the price paid. Wish I’d stayed at the Mandolay for £50 less.

Hotel seemed very nice however I found the bed very firm which for me was uncomfortable as I like a medium mattress. Was surprised to find I’d have to pay £10 per hour to use the spa facilities. Good job they didn’t try to charge me to use the bar or restaurant as other usual facilities !

We could not turn on the shower as it was broken. Staff at check out were ambivalent. Car park spaces are very tight.
4.1
The communal spaces are nice - gym, restaurants etc - but my room was poor and pretty tired. The decor was very old, the plumbing was noisy, the aircon was loud, the fridge woke me up when it started whining and the bed was very firm.
4.1
I was able to check in early which was unexpected. Front desk member of staff was lovely and room was good size. There was a wide range of breakfast options and hotel is well located for the town centre's shops and restaurants.

Stayed one night with my partner, excellent service, polite staff, will be returning

Fabulous hotel
4.1
Loved our stay here. Convenient parking under hotel and because we booked hotels VIP made it free. Good location far enough from town to be quiet at night but close enough to walk into town. The bar attached to the hotel served great drinks. Next time would like to try the food

Excellent service - special mention for Dayo at the front desk. Thank you Zey

Ask for a quiet room during weekend stays, as the bar/restaurant can get noisy late at night. I was offered this option during check -in which was very much appreciated.
4.1
Really good stay, excellent location so easy to walk around town, shopping and so many restaurants all within a few minutes stroll, very nice hotel nice and well equiped rooms, great F& B

The staff of this hotel are outstanding … from your front desk team of Genny, Anasia and then your restaurant team … Cameron, and all the staff. We loved the attention to detail, the kindness and the friendliness. They are all the ultimate professionals.
4.1
Really helpful friendly staff. Good sized room. Nice bright communal areas. Room was cleaned but coffee dirties not taken away and nothing replenished. Sorted once we pointed it out. Spa could have been kept a little cleaner.

Lovely modern hot

Hotel nice....but air conditioning was not working, on the hottest day of the year!....not happy.
4.1
This was very much a bed for the night so I didn't engage much with the hotel but everything I needed was all present and correct. Efficient check-in, clean room, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet surroundings and parking. Would definitely stay again.
4.1
Exception staff - very accommodating, helpful and friendly.
Sitting areas are very comfortable. Breakfast good. No problem parking in the underground car park. Pulling up at the front door to check in the car was a little difficult due to restricted space and parking but once that was done no further problems.

Stayed one night following a wedding in the area. Poor signage from the car park to reception.
All staff very pleasant, room was very comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was good fresh and enjoyably, slight irritation was a que for single coffee machine.
I would recommend this hotel for a stay.

Very central for town area

Convenient hotel for gin tasting at silent pool
Great restaurant all walkable and long bar gpod for drinks/dancing

Excellent from start to finish. All of the staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely hotel. Great location.
4.1
Very impressed with room, the hotel facilities and the breakfast. Only one minor point was the aircon in the room could have been more effective - lowest it could be set to was 19 deg but took a long time for the room to feel cold on a warm day
4.1
Smooth and organised, polite friendly staff in reception, the bar and breakfast. Well located. Clean rooms with good bathrooms. Good quality breakfast. Good value.
4.1
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were so attentive
A great stay

The hotel offered parking and we got there early and were told there was no parking available. We were advised we could park at a nearby carpark which we needed coins to pay again the hotel could not help us with because you are cashless, it was a nightmare and not a good start to our holiday. The room was not the best, marks all over the carpet and smelly and dark. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel with fantastic service and friendly staff

It’s too noisy outside the room

Bit dated and our room was very dark

We stayed for two nights at Harbour Hotel Guildford. The desk staff provided an exceptional level of service, finding us the best room for our needs and enhancing out visit to the area through their interest and advice. The dining options were good and the service in the restaurant was also exceptional.
4.1
Our stay was good. The room, cafe, bar and the pool was really good

I stay here often when visiting family. A comfortable hotel with a good gym. For a hotel with quite a high end profile, I am missing a little fridge in the rooms. It was very hot during my stay, and would have been useful to be able to put drinks in food in a cool place.
I want to especially thank the young housekeeper on the 3rd floor, who came and fixed my room while I was unwell during my stay! She gave me extra water and made sure I was ok. Thank you 🙏

Centrally located close to shopping and train stations and mall and beautiful peaceful ney

I’d love to know how a hotel can smell so amazing wherever you go! The minute we stepped foot in the door the aroma was amazing! Staff friendly and welcoming. Our iron in our room wasn’t working but we contacted reception and they brought up a new one one straight away. My only critics were there aren’t enough towels. 2 bath sheets and one hand towel isn’t enough for 2 people when you need one for the shower to soak up the water, and secondly the lighting wasn’t the best , especially for us ladies that are trying to do makeup. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Harbour Hotel Guildford the Food was lovlys the table sevice good the wet spa was fantastic a real pleasure to be served very Friendly and help full staff I would definitely stay again and spa pamper and eat there again and would highly recommend

A brilliant stay to help unwind yet refocus for business overall.

Windows are locked and frosted so air is stagnant and it's impossible to gauge the weather.
Seemed lacking in any form of luxuries for a 4*. Didn't even have biscuits which is a staple in budget hotels.
It's feeling quite tired and could have been cleaner.
Staff were lovely though.
4.1
Hotel was in a great location, situated at the top of High Street and very close to the G live.
The room was spacious. The only complaint about the room was that the window was frosted and therefore we couldn’t see out. No idea whereabouts we were.
Breakfast was good, but they had no bananas.
Find the service of drinks quite slow, but on the whole the Hotel was great
4.1
Great location in Guildford, close to restaurants and shopping. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in had a few stains on the wall, a window you couldn't open, and a musty smell in the room.
4.1
We had a 2 night stay in Guildford - the hotel is really well appointed, nice bar and great breakfast selection.
Rooms are a good size with decent beds / shower etc as you would expect at this price point.
Staff were helpful throughout the hotel.
Decent gym although the pool is a relaxing pool, not one for swimming lengths in.
4.1
The hotel shower was dirty the room was smelly,
The bed throw was dirty there was barely any facility in the room the iron didn’t work the phone in the room wouldn’t call the reception.
You have to pay for the car park even though they have a carpark.
The room was over their bar and very noisy.
There was no gluten free choice for their room service menu which was very .
The receptionist had no knowledge of gluten free breakfast option the breakfast is very expensive.
We ate some where else. We wouldn’t return.
