This hotel is dirty and discusting
3.4
I took photos so you can decide yourself
3.4
Very basic...... Looks extremely tired...... No real security as in a different building to reception..... But it is in easy walking distance for the stations
3.4
Lots of stairs, be ready! No room fan, got a little warm…..
3.4
Black mod and water damage in the corner by the window, broken outlets, missing light bulbs, cracked windows, water damage all over shower ceiling, staff only present from limited hours during day. Building is barely marked and parking is non existent for non-residents with a permit.
Pros: Cheaper and close to attractions without having to pay congestion fee.
3.4
Not a good place to stay. I will not recommend this. People on the front desk is not helpful at all, they always away from their desk. When it comes to cleanliness, i would rate it as 1 star. The water kettle, i ask for a new one cos it was really gross and dirty, but the guy said "it's clean" and just wash the kettle and give it back to me. The bed, it will hurt your back and your body cos it's not comfy at all, you can feel the bed springs sticking out. Overall experience is really bad.
3.4
It is. Very small room but it fits its purpose. Very conveniently located, easy to walk around. Excellent for solo travelers. Staff was amazing
3.4
If your looking place to just sleep, this is great option for that. Only negative thing was that rooms did not have fridges or anything to keep foods/drinks cold and wi-fi wasn’t greatest (rarely worked properly.) Short walk away from Pimlico underground and Victoria Station. Grocery shops and restaurants close by.
3.4
Only you can check in earlier when the room is ready.
3.4
Trash found behind next bed. Mold in shower, light fixture was falling apart, as well stains on bed. Room was straight out of the 1980s but worked for our 2 day stay. Excellent location very fast to see the sights
3.4
short notice trip to get visa, room tiny, below basic, receptionist on arrival was excellent, no reception at 07:10 despite room info and check in detail saying it would be, couldn't find the breakfast area everyone else mentioned
3.4
Pros: location.
Cons: room was smaller than a cruise cabin. Stains on bed sheets, no hair conditioner available, water kettle moldy with stains, shower stains, carpet worn out. Stairs to get to room are narrow you would not be able to carry large luggage upstairs .
3.4
Staff was not cooperative, room condition was very poor
3.4
Probably the rock bottom (of a queen bed with a bathroom and a window in an ideal location) accommodation, but so was the price compared to so many others.
Pros: quiet street walking distance to many small markets and tasty restaurants. Close to Pimlico train station and buses on Lupus St. Friendly and helpful staff. A warm shower with shampoo, soap, and shower gel supplied. White linens supplied. Comfortable queen bed. Hairdryer. An old building which made it quite insulated from any noise from outside or between rooms. Small pedestal fan provided, which was sufficient air flow for the weather and temperature. Coffee and tea making provisions. Desk and chair. Wardrobe. The carpet has seen many visitors but was freshly vacuumed. We had a first floor room which was another bonus. Small wall mounted TV with great reception. The best wifi connection and speed of any hotel I've been to.
Cons: The room is small with only enough room to skirt the bed. No access to balcony. Top window needs maintenance. Gap held together with duct tape. Which is no longer stuck. The shower is small and has black mold on the grout of the tiles. The ceiling of the bathroom also has black mold spots. Fan had electrical tape and dodgy wire. Wardrobe had only one door with a cracked mirror.
Conclusion: We expected the worst, given the reviews, so we were actually pleasantly surprised. Would happliy stay again for this basic accommodation in an awesome location. Would stay again.
3.4
It was pretty old property. Shower had mold. CArpets were so dirty. The bad was comfortable and clean. That was the only thing that was good. We also expected that there would be a safe area where we can leave our luggage until our check in time comes. there was not anything avaiable and we left our luggages in the room without any closed place.
3.4
The room was quaint, it had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, we were a close walk to virtually everything. The person at the reception desk was friendly and helpful, always had a smile on.
3.4
Great hotel location and service
3.4
It was ok. Location was handy
3.4
It was the dirtiest room ever duct tape stuck on floor and side of shower in bathroom extractor fan thick of dust only one light in room working staff useless. needs shutting down
3.4
Hot, very hot place no AC!!! Barely a fan super small fan is given. Very small rooms. Stairs o stairs, so many stairs. If you choose to stay here make sure you call ahead for a place on the first floor and make it a winter trip you do not want to stay here in the summer spend some extra somewhere else it’ll be worth it.
3.4
poor for the money, room clean but tired and worn, bathroom very poor state. Floor repaired with gaffer tape as was shower tray and shower door off its hinges which i lifted back into place but will come off again and is very heavy some people may struggle or worse
3.4
You get what you pay for. The room is small, there was tape on the mirror in bedroom and no toilet paper on the first day. Our room was up 6 flights of narrow stairs with no elevator, we were lucky we did not have any luggages.
It is conveniently located and is cheap, but ideal for a 1 or 2 nights stay at max, anything more than that would not be suitable.
3.4
Comfortable and well priced. If you’re looking for accommodation on a budget, it’s a lovely little hotel.
What I liked…
Great location for central London
Staff were friendly and helpful
Competitively priced
What could improve…
Windows didn’t have safety locks on
Needs updating/general refurbishing
Needed an extra pillow on the bed
I used it for visiting the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and found it a great stop over for a few days, good value for money.
3.4
Too hot in the room, no elevator, dirty carpet
3.4
Very convenient stay and location in SW1 area for business or leisure. Close to Pimlico tube which is great. Helpful reception and pleasant clean room . Would stay again .a basic convenient hotel .
3.4
The location to many sights as well as Victoria Station is why we chose this hotel. It does not have air conditioning and no elevator which are conveniences that are needed. The staff was very welcoming but limited in what they can do to make your stay more comfortable.
3.4
The room is very small, there is no place to put your luggage, the shower room has no place to put shower necessities. The pillow is hard, there are mold and dust on the walls, ceilings, and even the shower room. The carpet is dirty with brown particles, windows are broken, no air conditioner. We found a super dirty electric fan full of dust. I found stuff in the floor like hair tie that wasn’t mine, an empty used shampoo bottle at the shower room. I was about to get another hotel but I spent too much money for this hotel already. I trusted Expedia all the time, and the pictures look really nice. I don’t normally give bad reviews but I truly am disappointed, and would like to help travelers who are about to book this hotel.

We had a stay for 3 nights 9 months in advance. We left after the first night because we found over 100 ants all over my pillow, blanket, shoes, and the counter it was disgusting. We showed the staff members pictures and videos of ants crawling on the bed. They offered to clean the room but I didn’t feel comfortable at all and asked for a different room since it was already 8:00pm at night. We had to book another room last minute to finish up the remaining 2 days of our vacation.
The staff member said she would let the manager know. I also sent a message to the property via Expedia the following day and today. No one has tried to be in contact with us at all.
I didn’t want to leave a negative review but I’m hoping to keep others from making the same mistake in booking a reservation here like we did.
3.4
Mirror in room was cracked and taped together
3.4
We arrived and there was an incredible amount of mould on the walls next to bed as well as in the bathroom. all the milks and coffees in the room we open and empty. None of the photos represented the actual hotel. Conditions were that bad within the hotel, we could not stay here. We had to check in somewhere else.
3.4
To start, the receptionist was a delight and the cleaners had done a great job of getting some things clean that were well past their use by date.
However, the hotel gave me flash backs of a 1980’s old folks home.
The fitting out/construction is off such poor standard that I genuinely could hear other people in their rooms brushing their teeth it was that bad.
Add this to the wifi router laid at the foot of the stairs with loose cables on the stairs, carpets that were so threadbare they had gone through the weave.
It was terrible. The furniture, carpets, fittings were poor and worn out.
I cannot recommend this hotel in any way. It wasn’t even low price.
Many more options around in the price band that are better. And they won’t make you feel like you’re sleeping in a 1980’s care home.
3.4
It's an ok room for a London stay. Close to the Pimlico station and 24 bus line.
3.4
Close to Victoria and a few minutes walk from Pimlico station. The rooms are small but ok. Reception unfriendly. Lots of stairs and no lift.
3.4
How can this hotel be rated 3 stars ?? It even does not deserve one. I had to ring twice at 11 pm to beg my key, there is no elevator and the room was at the 5th floor, the bathroom was drown, I had to fix it with towels, and this hotel should be destroyed or completely refurbished, nothing happened the last 40 years here.
3.4
Good location
3.4
It's a great location in the city. Friendly staff. The building and rooms where worn. Carpets on the floors. Clean bathrooms.
3.4
Didn’t like security, open doors
Unhealthy environment
Broken systems
Unreliable internet
No telephone
No fire escape
Worst hotel we ever stayed in
3.4
Good location however very poorly maintained, one window pane cracked, multiple cracked floor tiles in bathroom, bed mattress worn out, tv no signal, no wifi as wrong password supplied, carpet dirty and torn, windows rattle in the wind, both toilet and handwash faucet dripping thru night, the check in staff was friendly , only 1 very hard pillow, very noisy thru night from airplanes overhead , like every minute going to land at heathrow made worse as windows not double glazed
3.4
Great location for a holiday in London. The building is older, but the room was clean, comfortably and warm.
3.4
I loved the price and the location.
The building is historic and the room was small but adequate. There is no lift, and locks didn't work.
