I booked two different types of room for two nights. The hotel offers me to stay in the first room until the second room is ready to check in. That impressive me and make me more relax. All the staffs are friendly and nice. And all the plant decoration in every corner of the hotel are fresh and pretty. Food quality is good and I love the Japanese style Buffett breakfast ( they also have western style buffet too). I will come back to visit for sure

The property and staff were amazing. The purpose of our stay was to enjoy the majestic view of Mt. Fuji. We were not able to see the mountain but we still enjoyed the food, the onsen and the taiko program.
4.7
Very kind peoples and a good fuji view. It was perfect hot spring with mt. Fuji.
4.7
Amazing ryokan experience from start to end! They take care and put effort to every little detail, it’s hard not to like here.
4.7
This onsen offers an exceptional experience, combining traditional Japanese hospitality with modern comforts. The service is outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring every detail of your stay is perfect. The food is a highlight, featuring beautifully presented kaiseki meals made from fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, blending traditional design with modern amenities. Many offer private onsen baths with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji. The serene ambiance, lush gardens, and peaceful onsen create an atmosphere of complete relaxation.
Overall, it's the perfect retreat for a luxurious and tranquil Japanese getaway.

really good

Very nice property. Large gardens, fountains, waterfalls everywhere inside and out around the property. Has its own shuttle to Mt Fuji station or other stations in the area. Staff were amazing. Free kimono and Japanese pajama rental. Free show and bingo after at 8pm. The meal package was amazing, breakfast buffet was massive, dinner was a 7 course meal. Also, a free wine lounge with snacks and alcohol available. Can't say enough good things, would go again.

Such a lovely stay at this resort! Best part of my trip to Japan!

Very traditional Japanese hotel surrounded by all natural forests. Kids friendly, a lot of entertaining events and shows. Beautiful stuffs with excellent service. My daughter forgot her little bag at hotel, they even help us sent it to the bus station before we go back to Tokyo! We will definitely come back again!

Staff is really sweet they go out of their way to make you happy and feel comfortable

This property was great - so much was included - kimono rental to very interesting dinner. Gardens were beautiful. Great views of MT Fuji. And great onsen selections! Highly recommend!
4.7
Great service and great views of mt fuiji!
4.7
Excellent and friendly staff service. Appreciate they were able to accommodate food allergies with alternative options. Mount Fuji view from rooftop hot spring was stunning.
4.7
My room is great. nice view with mount fuji. New and modern room with japanese interior and furniture. Private onsen is enoyable.
The included dinner is great. The chef us local and seasonal ingredients to prepare a Japanese-western fusion. The domestic veggie surprise me alot!
And the hotel is like a cruise. The roof top onsen with mount fuji, the shows and events make you packed with agendas. And there are multiple lounges, restro and a souvenir shop.
This is a whole experience, not just a room. Highly recommended!
4.7
Great hotel with lots of unexpected but great things to do, even though the included meal was a bit too special.
Disagreed to hold our luggage after checkout because we wanted to go out from the hotel…

We had an EXCELLENT stay! The staff constantly went above and beyond and catered to every need immediately. From handling your luggage to always picking up the phone in a couple rings to waving goodbye on the driveway, the hospitality is unmatched to any experience we’ve ever had. Not to mention that the food was incredible, particularly dinner which we felt was comparable to an omakase quality. We chose the room with a private onsen with a view of Mt. Fuji and had the best view. We might’ve lucked out and came during a non-busy season so there were minimal people on the rooftop bath for yet another great view of Mt. Fuji. Lastly, the free shuttles from the two train stations made it very convenient to get to and from the resort. Well done!

Beautiful hotel and gardens. We loved the private onsen and the excellent dinner and breakfast.

This was our first ryokan experience. The service was incredible throughout - very easy to communicate with the hotel team, who were very responsive and helpful. The staff were all super welcoming throughout our stay. The interior is beautiful, and the gardens are stunning. Our room was large, bright and calming, with a private bath. The rooftop onsen is amazing and has an uninterrupted view of mt fuji. Private dining room with kaiseki-ryori tea ceremony, wine bar, and an unbelievable taiko drum performance in the evening from the staff house band. Only complaint is that there was a bit of mould staining around the bathroom, but not sure if this can be helped given the amount of hot water that is used in the bath area. It also had a little bit of an odd smell, but nothing terrible. Would definitely come back and would want to stay longer (one night went by too quick). Good value considering everything that you get for the price.

This hotel was amazing! It was clean, friendly staff, amazing service! It’s just beautiful!

My favorite stay in Japan! From being welcomed by the staff to all the amenities, this hotel had a lot to offer. To start, the hotel grounds were beautiful with koi pond, tea house, river views. You can rent a free yukata to walk around the hotel with. Breakfast and dinner was included and it was delicious, servers were very friendly. Our room had a private onsen overlooking Mount Fuji, it was an unforgettable experience. The room was very spacious as well. I would love to come back here again and recommend it to anyone.
4.7
Love the yukatas, authentic Japanese room, felt like we have received true traditional Japanese experience
4.7
The room was fabulous. Service staff are very friendly. There are a lot of activities to do in the hotel. Living close to nature.
The only downside is that it is not near the train station, you have to call the hotel to get someone to fetch you (Limit 6pm). Additionally, there aren't a lot of shops around but everything can be found in the hotel itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a special experience and would love to return. Highly recommend it!

The ryokan was everything you would expect. The service was incredible.
4.7
Everything was perfect, rooms was beautiful. Wine bar was a great option and the garden was stunning
The only thing I think needs improving is the dinner
4.7
Excellent service, amenities and entertainment.

although expensive, i would say it’s worth it for the experience. the room is massive and super clean. i would definitely recommend booking the rooms that include a private onsen. lounge offers free wine and snacks including ice cream. drum show was also very cool and the garden is very pretty. there is not much to explore outside of the hotel, but they do offer free hotel bus shuttle pick up from and to kawaguchiko station. would recommend staying here.
4.7
Beautiful garden,great food.

This hotel was an experience everyone must try. Included in the price we received a full Japanese dinner, breakfast, drum show, provided Japanese robes to wear around the property, given access to the onsen, and access to the wine bar. It has a fantastic view of Mount Fuji.

Beautiful place with a beautiful garden

The hotel environment is absolutely extraordinary! Staff are nice and warm. The 2 included meals are delicious. The location is not at a convenient spot however there are shuttle services. If there is any imperfection, I would say the breakfast cafe seems a bit too crowded. I mean, the table arrangement is quite busy

Incredibly beautiful.

Very friendly staff and relaxing vibe

The hotel was decent, but their pricing is too high – in my opinion – for what they offer. We booked one of the rooms with the futon-style beds. The room and bathroom were very clean, however there was a musty smell in the hallways. Additionally, the bathroom was rather outdated and old.
Breakfast was included, which was a nice buffet-style breakfast. The utensils were clean and the food was good, with nice variety. We opted to also have their traditional dinner included. Dinner was decent, but lacked flavour (perhaps that's how traditional Japanese food is?).
Their rooftop onsen was also nice, as well as the garden in the back. The general view that one gets from the place is really spectacular (you get an awesome view of Mount Fuji). The location is really picturesque.
Overall, a nice place to be – but only truly worth the stay if their pricing was much lower. Their cheapest option is at least CAD $290 per person, per night (assuming 2 people are splitting the cost of one room). This is simply far too expensive for the overall experience and facilities that they offer. I've stayed at much more luxurious hotels for about CAD $50 less (per person, per night, assuming 2 people are sharing).

Reserved a mountain view room with private onsen. Unfortunately, the weather was not good so I could not see the Mount Fuji. Staff were nice and served us good food. Will definitely recommend for those who want to enjoy a fabulous vacation.
