The apartment was very clean and cozy. I wish there were more dishtowels in the kitchen and that the two clocks in the apartment were working. Instructions for working the TV and the heater would be helpful. My husband used the hide a bed one night, but there was no extra blanket for it. The upstairs portion would be more usable it there was a table or desk and chair, and/or an airbed and bedding, and a railing for the top few stairs. My husband and I are in our 70s and had no problem with the stairs to the apartment, but many people our age would. Otherwise, a good place to stay!

Very happy with Memphis Belvedere Suites. Very homey feeling & very cute accommodations. The apartment was cleanly & was located within minutes of the Zoo, Beale Syreet & Graceland. I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Memphis.

We booked two rooms based on description
And photos of the properties. When we arrived we were disappointed with the neighborhood as there were several dumped mattresses on the sidewalks. Our rooms were not clean and shampoos and conditioners were old and clumpy. It was a cute place and can be nice but the upkeep was poor. The owner was responsive when we made contact. It really is a cute place but our experience was not great.

Clean & tidy, nice apartment,

A fantastic location, straight out of turn-of-the-century Memphis. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place. BUT, if you want a comfortable, inexpensive, nostalgic spot in Midtown, you can't go wrong here. Close to everything, we had a fantastic visit. Memphis has come a long way since I first visited in the 90s.

Sheets and towels were dirty and the place was unkept. Talked with management they let us go to another apartment. It was better but towels and bathroom were still dirty.

The BnB is good, just be aware Memphis is in decay/decline. Not a single street or road has been maintained in the last 20 years.Downtown has all the new construction as far as hotels and arenas, but midtown is the orphan as far as care. TV was bragging there were ONLY 3700 cars stolen Jan-May 2024,compared to 5200 same time last year. Piles of debris, junk, old furniture along the streets all over the city add to the impression of abandonment.

With the exception of the linen the apartment was unkempt and unclean

We was in Memphis to funeralize our Mother, the location great. We had dinner at the local restaurant and it was amazing. Next visit will definitely check to see if you have openings. Love the old feeling.

The property was great! Cute apartment, felt very safe. Easy to get to places.
The only downside, and it was a big one, was the neighborhood noise. The bar directly behind was so loud on a Thursday night the walls were shaking.
4.5
The owners are very nice

The apartment is super cute, with antiques and period decorations. The bathroom needs some updating and the neighborhood is noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Great communication with management throughout our stay and they allowed us to check in a little early which we greatly appreciated!

The unit we stayed in was a one bedroom apartment in a very old complex. There have been some updates over the years. The bathroom was very clean and fairly modern. The bed was very comfortable. The laundry room was available to use. The location was central to many attractions in the Memphis area. The unit we stayed in had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, the living room fan was stained yellow with it, in spite of an air purifier in the living room. We didn't cook in this unit and it would not be easy in the very old, but decently equipped kitchen with very limited counter space. Cleaning could be more thorough in this unit.

Overall good property

It was a nice OLDER property. It’s kept up and there is security and no one bothers you. The owner is easy to communicate with and there was a laundry facility on site.
4.5
Good directions, easy stay, comfortable and convenient.

We enjoyed this place, it’s our second time there and I told my sister to stay there too. We like the old fashioned feel and the grounds. The neighborhood around may be a little seedy but that’s Memphis! A mansion one one corner and a liquor store on the other😊. Gotta love it

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE. If you love the spirit of the past, this place you will connect with for sure. The courtyard is bustling with birds of all sorts and apt itself was very very comfortable. I look forward to future stays.
4.5
It was fairly clean upon check in, but could use a bit more of a detailed clean between stays! But nothing that would have changed our mind about staying! Could also use some updates as it is an older property. There is a night club across the street so weekend nights it gets pretty loud but nothing that interrupted our stay! Manager was friendly and responsive! I’d definitely stay here again!!
4.5
Only thing is stairs are kinda steap up to second bedroom. Other than that its a very nice place.

Would stay again when it's not snowing lol

Easy checkin and prompt response to a few problems.

overall nice place and reasonable price, parking could be better. Management checks on your stay while you are there. Property & yard is clean .

Extremely comfortable, impeccably clean, very roomy. . We loved the place and the security measures. The property owner was very easy to communicate with, accommodating and helpful! There was a lot of music late into the night beyond the control of the property. Very nice stay!

Clean spacious quiet and close to convention center

Upgraded at no extra charge due to unfortunate overbooking, very please with stay

Had a New Orleans kind of setting
Nice patio with gardens
Comfortable homey interior
Not sure the air conditioner was working to the temperature set

I found this property to be very cozy and relaxing. I had everything I needed and the place was very clean. Didn't like the parking because I have a big truck so parking was a bit rough in the parking lot. The property provided me with what I needed so I never had to contact the property manager.
4.5
Spacious, unfortunately we visited in a heat wave and the AC could not keep up so the upstairs room was an oven.

I got in late and wasn't expecting it to look more like a small apartment complex instead of a more traditional hotel/ motel so I had a little bit of a hard time finding the place. Interior was not fancy, but had so many comforts of home it was nice. Once I saw outside in the daylight i was very pleased. If i was going to Memphis again, especially for a slightly longer stay i would stay there again.

The space was clean and had lots of historic charm. The sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable but no more than any sofa bed. Apartment area is secured by a gate, and has nice spaces to sit outside. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. About a 10 minute uber ride or drive to downtown. There's a good Mexican restaurant around the corner called Frida's. Will stay here again.
4.5
Instructions were clear, apartment comfortable and well -appointed. Noise from neighbors as expected given the stairs just outside the door but overall a very pleasant stay!

All around had a great stay at the Memphis Belvedere Suites. The room was apartment-like comfortable, just our speed. Nothing super fancy, but everything felt homey. Nice, big space, everything worked, great communication with the staff. Will definitely be staying again.

Perfect place to stay for a few days. Very cozy little suite with plenty of historic charm

The loft was very clean and well kept. The area was very nice and you was able to walk around and see different things.

First time traveling solo to Memphis, I was a little nervous because I don’t know the area and I didn’t want to spend big money on the hotels I usually stay in, I found this to be incredibly comfortable, I did feel safe it was so clean, yes, it’s a little dated, but it’s incredibly clean, and that gave it character- importantly, the bed was very comfortable. Parking is a bit tricky. It would help if they number each spot per until, as luck would have it. I managed to get a spot each night. I will definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness was good. The condition of some of the furnishings was not so good, particularly the dining table. It had a section of the table top that was very obviously in a state of disrepair and was not attended to prior to our arrival. It fell to the floor several times and we had to finally just lean it against the wall. The AC unit in the bedroom was very noisy.
If one has any difficulty with stairs, this is not a place for you. There is a long flight of stairs to access the unit, and once in the unit there is another flight of stairs to the bedroom.
4.5
Cute property, very convenient to fun areas of Memphis. Loud weekend bar scene behind the building. And the toilet needs repair it tilts when you sit on it
4.5
It felt like i were living in my own home
