I had read some horrendous reviews for this hotel on another website but I was very pleased with my stay. The building was warm and my room had everything I needed. Bed was clean and very comfortable, big tv with loads of channels, a good shower and lots of off street parking if needed. The immediate area was very safe and train station at the end of the road. Daily housekeeping. I would definitely stay there again.

First impressions are a bit low-rent but the staff were staff and efficient and the room was clean, confortable and warm. Excellent shower. Great value.

Great wee find and easy for Hampden. On-site parking is a bonus. Would defo stay again.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the receptionist took a photo of my driving licence on her personal phone. When asked why I was told in case there was damage to the room. This made me feel very uncomfortable and is surely a GDPR issue??

Whilst I had no issues with the building, room or facilities, I did not care for being extorted money for a simple request.
Check-in is from 1430 and you must let staff know if you will be early. I did this in advance.
On arrival, less than 2hrs before 1430, I asked if I could complete forms, leave details etc and be given the keys for the rooms as we would not be back until much later at night.
I was told this could not be done. Then after a staff discussion (not in English so cannot confirm what was said), I was advised this could be done for 20. I asked why 20 would allow this as I DID NOT WANT INTO THE ROOM EARLY, only complete forms and be given keys for later.
I was not given an answer and on consideration, I was then told it was 20 each (per room) totaling 40.
40gbp in order to sign a form, show ID and collect a key. Again no reason or justification was stated for why the transfer of 40 magically allowed this to happen so I refused and later had to make 2 trips back due to the lack of co-operation.
Nowhere on the Hotels.com site was any "hidden fees" or penalties listed. Only after paying and booking the rooms did I receive an email disclosing "Late Check-In" charges of 10 per hour after 10pm.
It was not a big ask. I was NOT asking for the rooms to be cleaned early or to be allowed EARLY ACCESS - only to leave details early for check-in to be completed at the managements own discretion.
To be extorted an unjustified fee for this was dishonest and wrong.

Clean single room perfect for my 1 night stay, great shower although it did constantly drip.
Convenient for seeing my family, I would stay again.
Receptionist could be a little more pleasant and smile from her would have been nice.

Walls were paper thin, all night long there was floor screeching noises, people talking around.

You where made as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. Depressingly dreary accommodations.

Crosshill House, Glasgow was a terrible stay. From first appearance the building is dilapidated in the middle, like it has undergone a fire or something. There is no-one at reception past 9.30pm, the staff sat in a room where they could see incoming visitors but the reception lights are off and doors locked - not very welcoming. The staff took a photo of my driving licence on arrival, this didn't feel comfortable or professional.
Our room was dirty, the bedding was clean but the remote, walls, door handles, carpet , surfaces all felt grubby. I went over the room with Dettol wipes.
The window holders were broken and windows difficult to open. The bathroom was also run down and unclean. Cleaning staff were in our room each day we were out, although didn't give new towels or bedding. They made the bed, moved all our stuff but the room didn't feel any cleaner. When we arrived back on our last day our door had been left open by house keeping staff. Saff seemed disinterested when advised. Staff appeared from a storage container to the side of the building - very strange.
There was a kettle, but the cups were old and stained and a desert spoon rather than tea spoon available.
No breakfast facilities. Not even to get a glass of milk. Nearest shop a few minutes away.
Short walk to train station for access to Glasgow city centre. I'd not stay here again! I suggest that Expedia remove Crosshill House from there accommodation offers. Very disappointed.

Was good like many others, but the strange thing was when the recepcionist asked for FULL card details to keep £50.00 deposit.
Whem he asked for LONG NUMBER, EXPIRE DATE and THE 3 NUMBERS CODE...I refused and he almost denay my check in.

Felt like a cell. Very old fashioned. Good location though.

The place was very old inside the room. Furniture from the 70's which look like they got it at a second hand store. No AC in the unit. 3rd floor room with no lift or elevator, only steps.

4/5 stars. Booked last minute for a festival - great prices. Free on-site parking. Room had everything we needed. Very clean, comfortable beds, great facilities. Shower was temperamental but good enough. Easy check-in, no sneaky extra fees like some hotels. Only a 5 min walk from the train station which was ideal for us. Great stay overall.

Walls and space between floor levels ( ceilings ) have no sound deadening room above ours had a alarm go off from 5.20am to 6.30am in the morning and it was very loud, can hear people talking next room and loud tv, check in person very rude and not helpful, staff friendly, easy transport available good area if you wont to be away from the city, beds comfortable and room clean.

This place was super expensive compared to how standard the room was. The bathroom smelled of mildew.
It was, however, very close to Hampden Park, so we could walk home after the concert we attended. The area was super quiet.

Good value for money and pretty close to the city centre

The property had a nice sitting area outside as well as sufficient parking places. The room was very clean

Close to train. Shower was good. Whole building and rooms need upgrading. Entrance to Inn was quite unwelcoming

A bit distant from City Centre and tourist attractions, Crosshill House still was affordable, clean, a good choice for travelers on a budget. The room was small but comfortable. I would go again.

Our second floor room was a bit shabby & soulless and not as comfortable as suggested in the photos.
When our shower was broken we used one of the rooms downstairs for a wash - this was much nicer. If you go for a rom specificy 'ground floor please!'
Broken shower replaced promptly.

When we checked in, they took a photo of my passport, a fact that I understand is illegal. 3 nights in the hotel and not a change of towels. Very limited breakfasts and dirty cups and glasses. The reception was not pleasant. Totally abusive and exorbitant price for what it offers.

This is a small hotel close to where I need to be for Christmas. I do not spend much time there but it is very clean, friendly, and quick to sort out very small issues (ie TV remote didn't work)

The room was adequate for an overnight stay, but no longer than that. The “queen “ sized bed was small? 4 flat pillows! Bedding was clean apart from a strange stain on one side. The shower was powerful and water hot. On entering the bathroom smelled of bleach and was overall clean, apart from some deep set black mould in the sealant around the base of the shower, but had obviously been cleaned as best under the circumstances. Only one hand and one bath towel for two people? A hairdryer was available but I chose not to touch it as it was filthy. The heating was pre set to come on at 5pm and went off about 12pm. It came on in the morning time unsure. There was a big TV but in an awkward situation to view due to there being a very large window. The whole appearance in short is very drab and gloomy.

The property done exactly what we needed. A bed to put our head down. Some maintenance needed to update it. A bit expensive for what it is. But no complaints as it was what it was.

Stay proceeded without any problems, so Hotel achieved what was required. It was clean, and all the facilities were there. TV, kettle, shower/toilet en suite. Alltogether i had an undisturbed stay, and would definitely recommend.

Not good condition property Room and bathroom dirty towels were very old and floor board noisy

This property is a little grubby and tired looking. Check in was smooth, however checkout was delayed due to illness requiring paramedic intervention. The property manager tried to insist that I pay extra due to this unfortunate medical event and called the police whilst paramedics were working on my son. Completely unacceptable. We checked out as soon as medical intervention was complete.

Crosshill House did everything that we wanted it to do - close to Queen’s Park for our concert (we could hear the music from our garden) a trek into town but good transport links around, a lovely quiet area, lovely room facilities and helpful staff.

Perfect for the price. We were on the ground floor and could hear every movement from the guests above upstairs, appart from that i coyldnt fault it.

I was extremely surprised at the space for the price. Large tv with good WiFi. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels every 2 or 3 days. Highly recommended.
