Great budget hotel which offered everything we needed. Great receptionist who when I asked about good bars he suggested the Howling Wolf and it was fab Blues bar with great cocktails and live music. My only gripe was that the pipes repeatedly knocked when neighbouring guests used their bathrooms.

Staff were Fantastic, very happy to help. Small but sleek room which seemed clean. Bed was a little soft but overall comfy and clean. Only feedback I can provide is that a kettle in the room would be nice and there was no toast available at breakfast which is odd for a Scottish hotel.

Spotlessly clean room and the hotel generally. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet all night. Convenient location.
One night stay, solo, mid week, mid November.

Close to the many shops and dining options, Point A was a wonderful place to stay for our short trip to Glasgow. We were warmly welcomed by Gary, who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. We were treated to free breakfast, and he gave us many options for dining, even calling ahead for us to book a reservation. Our room was very clean and there were clean instructions on how to "power" the room. Breakfast options were easy and delicious. We will definitely choose Point A Glasgow again for our next visit!

Hospitality of the staff was amazing,

Very welcoming staff and excellent service. Brilliant location as it only a 6 minute walk from Buchanan St Bus Station. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Tea making facilities in the room would have been nice, however if I stay there again I would bring my own.
Although my stay was only 2 nights I really enjoyed it.

Lovely clean, warm room. Plenty of hot water.

Excellent location close to everything I wanted to see. Very nice and inviting reception area. Modern, compact room. Helpful and friendly staff. Room looking a bit worn and grubby in places and weird not having a window but lots of lighting options controlled from a consul by the room door which made it better. Comfortable bed. Fine for my one night stay but probably not ideal for a longer trip of several nights.

The room
Is very very small and without window.

Decent budget-friendly hotel, club across the street was a bit noisy at night. Wi-fi was dodgy, couldn't connect to the internet.

The room, sheets, towels etc were spotless. The bed, sheets, towels were good quality. The shower worked well. The furnishing is very sparse - just one hard stool to sit on, apart from the bed. The TV has a good sized screen. There is a hairdryer, but no kettle!! The lighting system is high tech, weird, an unnecessary expense. Air conditioning was noisy, and seemed to turn itself on at some point, after we had checked it was off! There’s a horrible view from the window, but at least there is daylight. Overall, for the price, it’s a good place to stay if you’re planning a trip where you don’t spend much time in your room except to sleep. All it needs is a room kettle to make it perfect for that.

Just needed a bed for a night. I had a no window room. The air-conditioning was noisy

Had a first floor room that backed on to lane. Ok except for the delivery or rubbish collection that was quite loud. I recommend taking earplugs as a back up. We did!

I've now stayed in two rooms at this hotel. In one the lights were broken, in the other the air conditioning did not even turn on. The surface was peeling off one of the tables. I found the housekeeping staff extremely rude.

The room and bathroom were small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Annoyingly there wasn’t a kettle in the room but there is a coffee machine behind the reception desk. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Glasgow overnight. It's in a good location with lots of things to do. The hotel is modern and minimalism design. Very clean.Staff was friendly and very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was continental and good. There is off site parking so it's best to drop off luggage and walk back. We were given a handicap room for some reason so I can't comment on other rooms but this one is very sparse, no table, one metal folding chair, no amenities such as table, chairs, tea or coffee in the room. No place to sit

The staff was friendly and helpful. Love the fact that you can store your luggage there before checking in or after checking out. The room was very clean. Definitely a good location for sightseeing.

This hotel is centrally located and convenient for Glasgow Queen Street train station. It is quiet for too floor rooms away from the traffic noises. The staff were friendly and fast processing check in and outs.

The hotel was located in a great area. Walkable to shops and dining area. The room was small but had everything you would need. The room we had was unfortunately located by alley behind some restaurants I presume. The view was terrible. Also because this was the back way into these places, we were woken late at night and very early 5 a.m. By workers talking and laughing.

The room has everything we needed. It has good blinds to block out light and reasonably soundproof. Air-con was great. Staff was really helpful to assist with questions and requests. Lovely stay, would recommend.

Nice to have the free left luggage. Great staff who gave us directions to a very good Greek restaurant and then directions to get around Glasgow. Thanks to Gary! All around good guy.
