Great spot, clean hotel, excellent free breakfast. Would happily stay here again

Great value, excellent service!

The stay was good, the room its self was kinda clean but furniture needs updating. The footrest box was broken, the sliding door to the closet was falling apart and I did report it with a lot of scratches we found before we get hit with the fees. The GYM was very updated with equipment and kept clean, the neighborhood was very friendly and clean. Many bars and restaurants.

We had a great experience, nice friendly staff, great location, clean hotel

The staff at this hotel is awesome. The breakfast crew are so friendly and helpful. Everywhere I went there was a helpful staff member.

Husband & I stayed here for trip to DC; east taxi ride from airport; we were surprisingly upgraded to 1 bedroom suite; hotel was clean; received housekeeping services 2 of the 3 nights; they even washed the dishes; rooftop pool is nice perk to check out; daily breakfast had a lot of options; breakfast staff was friendly and went around and took your used dishes; lots of places to eat and drink on the wharf; safe and walkable; we took the convenient free Wharf shuttle to take the metro to museums, US Capitol and Arlington cemetery; no need to rent a car; parking at hotel is pricey; we are both seniors and found the hotel staff and the people in DC very friendly and helpful with directions/questions

The room looked nice and clean. However, the odor was almost unbearable. It smelled like rotten fish. We went out thinking it may need time to air out but came back to it just as horrible. They sent housekeeping up to “disinfect “ it. That consisted of housekeeping spraying air freshener. The smell did not go away and that took so much away from our stay. The second time we complained it seems that the staff has been well aware of the smell in that particular room but still keeps booking it.

I don’t leave reviews. Ever. But I feel like this one is warranted. Visited the area for a concert, so obviously the hotel was at max capacity. Valet was full, parking garage was full, only to be told after sitting in the parking line for nearly 45 minutes. Once we arrived to the hotel around 4:45, I was told my room wasn’t ready! Which is crazy because check in is 3! I do applaud the cleaning service the rooms were spotless, but management needs to re-evaluate their staffing needs when they know there is a large event going on that people are in town for

Nice stay!

We stayed at the Hyatt to go to a concert at the Anthem. It was perfectly situated for this and our stay was great!
4.3
All in all I am very satisfied. The hotel is reasonably priced but I was not expecting to pay bc an additional 65 dollars for parking. Very unexpected!
4.3
Perfect location and rooftop pool
4.3
Hayat House is situated in a vibrant marina area, surrounded by a variety of dining options and well-lit sidewalks, making it a fantastic location for leisurely walks and exploring nearby cafes and restaurants.
While the hotel could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness, our experience was still enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was the daily complimentary breakfast, which was well-prepared and offered a great selection of proteins and other dishes.
4.3
Loved the location!

Great place to stay

Staff were wonderful and accommodating.

Nice spot

Awesome stay. Will absolutely return.

The A/C could not keep up with the sun. We booked river views that we couldn't enjoy because the blinds had to remain closed. We called for maintenance twice. The staff was not well informed. The pool did not have a single umbrella for shade. We are not coming back.
4.3
Perfect location, clean and new rooms, nice rooftop pool and good price for that kind of hotel. Only two problems, the seating problem at breakfast and overnight parking is $65.
4.3
This property is unique, with the roof top pool. Our unit had dirty linens for the pull out couch, which the staff rectified. Some electrical outlets did not work, and the remote for the TV was missing. Staff made it right, and even allowed a late check out for us. The staff was amazing!
4.3
Check-in clerk was not knowledgeable about surrounding restaurants when ask.
9th floor laundry room was dirty and had an odor smell.
The complimentary breakfast area was like a zoo every morning of my 5 day stay. Not enough tables & chairs for the guests to sit down for breakfast.
4.3
Hallway carpet had a lot of dirty stains.
4.3
Great location, tons of restaurants within 10 minute walk. Rooftop pool with amazing views. Breakfast is decent but gets crazy busy with limited seating. Room was modern with a comfortable bed. Check in/out was a breeze.
4.3
Loved pool, outdoor space.
Great value for us. Love that the area has REALLY taken off!
4.3
The room was perfect with the mini kitchen. We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The best location to explore the wharf and surrounding areas southwest DC and the navy yard. There is a shuttle to take you across to the navy yard and more. Read the info the provide at the front desk. Free breakfast too? Awesome time. We even went to a nearby grocery store and grilled on the property. Rooftop pool was perfect.
4.3
Great location but the hotel is small as are the rooms.
4.3
Great stay if you’re looking for a waterfront vibe with great food options within walking distance!
4.3
I was very pleased with my stay at the Hyatt House. I love the Wharf area of DC. The hotel was very clean and accommodating. Very nice view of the river from the room. The bathroom was nice and clean and spacious. However, I would say that the rooms are small considering the price per night. I did like the fact that the room offered a full size refrigerator, stove and sink....so a mini kitchen.
4.3
Location can't be beat and free breakfast and shuttles were a lovely perk. However, the cleanliness of the hotel (especially the bathroom/tub area) was not kept. Things that would be very easy to clean such as knobs, handles, and shower faucets/shower heads were caked with old residue and red mildew. Additionally, we were unable to close our blackout curtains in the room due to an electrical issue that went unresolved during our 4- 4-night stay.
4.3
Parking was disastrous and time delaying. Went to park at designated parking garage below, garage 1, only to drive around in the labyrinth for 30 minutes realizing it was totally full. Exited with the garage wanting us to pay $6.00. Didn't after calling. Went to garage 2, manage to find space. Elevators and entrance on level 2 was hot and very muggy. Hotel stay was shortened, so we wouldn't have to pay the $60 (12-24hr.) parking fee. Opted for the $39.00 (6-12hr.)fee, having to end up paying $49.00. Total disregard for customer expenditure for a hotel that is already pricey, but not extravagant. Parking ruins the whole experience navigating the traffic lengthy jams in doing so!
4.3
Convenient area. Would definitely come back.
4.3
Lovely place in a great city
4.3
It is in a great location! The Wharf district is very packed with entertaining things to do, see, places to eat. 15 or 20 minute walk to the Smithsonian museums. Easy to get to public transportation. The hotel was very classy. Free breakfast was always hot and tasty. The only thing I didn't care for was the parking situation. $60/day may be the norm for DC, but not for me.
4.3
Parking was very hard but other than that it was a great stay
4.3
The hotel was nice the view was amazing the staff were friendly and it was very walkable definitely worth the price however i kept finding hair on my towels and blankets other than that it was amazing
