My family used the home while in town for a family reunion. The proximity to public transportation was great; the Fort Trotten metro stop is a short walk away. Everything you need is available in the home. The lower level was colder than the rest of the house but that is to be expected. Having two kitchens was nice. The microwave is on the lower level so sometimes food prep is a multi level experience. We did not use the lower refrigerator because it did not seem to be cooling and we didn't have much to keep refrigerated. Bedrooms were comfortable and a nice place to relax and prepare for the next activity. Comfortable house with a convenient location.

The property was very clean
I think should have more seats in the living room
and the air conditioner on the second floor should be better
the reverser on the baseman air conditioner is too cold.
Overall is a nice place to stay.

Arrival was fine, place will sleep 10 but one bed is a couch, and the other is a futon. Our stay was fine and upon arrival I noticed small things working with the house but left it alone as I figured they had already been reported. My daughter said something about the refrigerator door being scratched up as she was putting groceries away. My son noticed the couch was broken. My parents couldn't get the fridge downstairs to work. I noticed the garbage disposal was broken and there were a number of blinds missing. None of these issues weren't anything that would bother me during my stay and I did message the owner so he would know he needed to fix his disposal. Now I am having a similar problem as I see another guest had while they were staying at this property. The owner has accused my family of scratching the refrigerator door. Something that I thought was pointless to mention the night we arrived. Anyway the house is fine especially if you are in DC for more than a couple days. Just let the owner know of any and all problems, even the most minut, and you should be fine. He sent me a message from a conversation that it looks like he was having with someone else to try to prove to me the fridge wasn't like that before my stay. All I got from it is that he is trying to sell the house and trying to accuse me of the scratches to help fix any items he has on his list of repairs before listing. I have rented many homes throughout the US and this has never happened to me. Beware.

Really enjoyed the home. Only issue was broken blinds on the first floor. Otherwise it was great. Would stay here again

This is a very clean, modernized property that is a 15 minute walk to the Metro. We had a few issues with broken or missing blinds, but were otherwise pleased with our stay.

The property was clean and street parking accessible, which made it perfect for our group. The only downsides were that it really only sleeps 9, not 10. Both couches are for one person. Also the blinds on the ground floor were broken and people could see in. Hopefully these get fixed. Otherwise the place is a good affordable option for a group!

We felt safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed staying at this home.

Property was very nice but seating for 6 adults was very limited. One three person couch and a few table chairs and bar stools.
Only warning would be to take pictures of anything you feel is out of place. Have stayed in multiple VRBO Locations and have never had an issue. Here we were charged $60 to replace some towels that were stained before our visit. To us the stains were no big deal so we didn't mention it. Owner says not possible,,,since I didn't take pictures I don't have proof. Otherwise nice property but petty owner will keep us from ever coming back

This house worked great for our group. Clean, convenient, everything functional- it was exactly as described. Lots of bedrooms help for privacy when you need it.

The house description is a bit vague but we stayed based on the reviews and couldn’t have been happier. It was a 5 minute drive to the metro station, with parking, as we used the metro to get around.
The home is a townhouse, and had several steps to get inside. On the main floor was the kitchen, dining area and living room. Upstairs was 3 nice size bedrooms and a full bathroom. The basement then was like a small apartment with a small kitchen, bedroom, full bathroom and the washer and dryer.
The kitchen was well stocked with the basics, and I was able to cook breakfast and dinner everyday of our stay (we picked up at the Giant grocery store about 5-7 minutes away). The only small inconvenience was the microwave was in the basement kitchen.
I highly recommend this property, the finishes are well done, location is great and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this place because the listing didn't have many pictures but had good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the house has been updated and what a great neighborhood it is in. The main level has a beautiful kitchen and a table that hosted our family for meals. The upstairs had three comfortable rooms and an updated bathroom. The basement had a cute apartment. Our only complaints were the basement was cold (even in summer) to need the extra blanket that was provided and we didn't want to spend time down there except for sleeping. I hope the owners put a microwave in the main kitchen, it was a tad inconvenient to have to go to the basement to microwave things.

We enjoyed our stay in Washington DC. This house is newly renovated, clean and had plenty of space to wind down after walking the city. The neighborhood was quiet at night, and parking was available at the metro stop. Parking at the house is tight for two cars, but that's expected in the city. Overall a nice place to stay, convenient for sightseeing.

This property was incredibly clean, bright and updated… the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. Plenty of space for our family of four. It is about a 25 minute city drive to the attractions in DC which worked out great for us. The kitchen had most of what we needed to cook meals. The bedding and towels smelled fresh and clean. The mattresses were very firm. The bathrooms/kitchens seem brand new. This home is unusual in that it is way better in real life than shown in the listing photos.

We had a great stay here! The property was clean, parking was easy, and the house had everything we needed. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the Metro and easy to get to the National Mall and all the things there we like to see when visiting the city. The house had lots of space, including the ability for each couple to have their own bedroom and bathroom on separate floors. We definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great home base to use while exploring the city!

We came down for the wreath laying in Arlington and for ICE!. We have a great stay. They place was super clean and plenty of room for all of us. The beds were a little hard, and there were not many pillows. I hope the owner uploads more pics. It was a beautiful home that should be seen.

This is one of the best places I ever stayed. The cleanliness was emaculate! If I could give it a 10, I would. The only thing missing was a full length mirror, lol. My daughter is a Howard University freshman so, I’ll definitely return here numerous times. Thank you!
