We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and clean. The host was great - always responded quickly to any questions we had! Great location with easy parking on the street and a quick drive to all of the tourist places. Would definitely come back !

An outstanding property for our DC vacation. A great location to Uber and walk to our destinations. Our Host was fantastic! He was helpful with tips to enhance our visit, and was very supportive in answeri h all our questions. I hope to have another opportunity to utilize this property for another visit!

The place was exactly as the photos online. The space may appear to be small but it’s far from it. There was plenty of space to accommodate me and my family. James was friendly and communicated in a timely manner.

Good location, comfortable beds although bedrooms are all upstairs. Owner was very responsive. House has minor maintenance issues in master bathroom and dishwasher. All bathtubs should have a non stick mat to prevent slippage. Need more info about door locks (back), tv operation, thermostat, etc. Recommend you have a written guide available for guests (operating instructions, location of local stores/restaurants, etc). Other VRBOs that have this made our stay more enjoyable.

Communication with our host, James, was great. He even helped us carry our things inside while it was raining. The house did not disappoint-lovely updated row home with all the old charm intact. Nice open floor plan with beautiful kitchen. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at this property for a recent weekend getaway. It’s not easy to please teenagers, and our 13 and 15 year olds were very happy to stay here. They each had their own room, were able to watch a movie on a huge TV and liked how there were a lot of restaurants in close proximity to the property. The location makes it very easy to get to all of the landmarks you would want to see. The private parking behind the property was so convenient. We had no issues with the electric locks and no worries about misplacing keys. The property was very clean and well stocked with plenty of room for all of us. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was great - very homey and clean with lots of plants. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well provided with lots of pots/pans etc and also basic cooking supplies (spices, oils etc.) James, the host, was very responsive and helpful. Easy transportation- Bus to the mall took 35 minutes.

Very nice place, plenty of room, plenty of towels and blankets. The couches were actually comfortable too. The property owner was accommodating and attentive.

Everything from beginning to end was great! There were lots of towels, extra soaps, and cleaning products. If you go in winter it is chilly in the back of the house so I would bring a couple blankets if you have 10 people. They have some but our kids wanted more luckily we brought a couple. Overall the house is great and James is accommodating and very nice! Would definitely stay again!

Our family of 9 enjoyed a much to quick trip to DC. This home provided a nice place to stay. We felt very DCey in this cute row house. The bedrooms are very comfortable. If you happen to have to sleep on the pullout bed or blowup bed… well, you know. The kitchen is well appointed. We weren’t lacking for anything. WiFi was strong. James is a great communicator. I got to meet him and he’s a very nice guy. Thanks James!

Renting this property was easy, clean, and the perfect place for a group of friends exploring a new city!

We had a good time at the home.

We had a great time visiting. We came to town for sightseeing and a baseball game with myself, my spouse and elementary age kids. We had a great time! Property was clean and had everything we needed. James was very responsive and even provided a last minute dog crate we needed for our dog. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

The home was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay in this home again. Of special note - the host/owner James had to cancel the last night of our five-night stay. I have stayed at dozens of VRBO homes and James was one of the best hosts we've dealt with. He was very apologetic and made things right by offering us a refund for the canceled night plus an additional amount so we could easily move to another accommodation. I wish all hosts were as good as James when a small problem occurs. He was also helpful in recommending sights and directions. Thanks James!

The house itself was great!! Nicely decorated!! We had plenty of space with the 4 of us; my husband and myself and 2 of our teenage grandsons. The kids could each have their own bedroom. All the amenities, including a washer and dryer with soap, are there except for the ability to watch live TV. There are 2 TV’s in the house with one in the living room and 1 in the family room. We were able to get live TV as my one grandson brought his X-box game and had u-tube on it. Otherwise there are some videos and there is a fire stick so you could watch some movies and shows. But you can’t get live TV so can’t get nightly news etc. Also no TV’s in any of the bedrooms and that would have been nice. We mostly were out touring so I guess a TV in the bedroom isn’t all that necessary. Just would have been nice to watch some live and weekly shows some nights after we came home from our touring for relaxation. Cable TV would have been nice. Getting to the heart of Washington DC was easy with Uber. It was about a 15 minute trip or less. I’m not sure of public transportation to and from downtown as the first night we got there we wanted to find a grocery store so we found one roughly a little more than a mile away and set out to go there. In about 2 blocks from the home the area started to scare us us and upon driving further there were several police cars on corners and that didn’t look like an area we should be in. So we turned around and went back to the house. The next day we went to an area in Virginia recommended by our nephew who used to live in DC. I’m not sure where some of the locals shop for their groceries. I guess we could have asked the owner as he was always very prompt in answering our calls with questions, but we were going to our nephews anyway that next night after our arrival so we could shop there. The other perfect thing was the parking place we had in the back of the house as we had our car. Never had to worry about finding a spot to park. That was awesome!!! So to summarize; the area a couple blocks from the house seemed like somewhere we wouldn’t want to be, but the area the house was in was fine. We were not scared at all there. Seemed like nice people around there. Location is great to get to downtown Dc ok by Uber anyway. I don’t know about other public transportation. The owner is very nice. I wound stay here again if I came back to DC.

James was the best property manager we have experienced with VRBO properties. The house was as stated, clean and well appointed. Close to the attractions and a park around the corner for the little ones. A great experience

We had so much fun on our trip to Washington DC. Having a relaxing home to come back to after a long day of walking really was the cherry on top. The plants in the home were my personal favorite touch! It was a great amount of space for our group (6 adults and 2 children). The host was very nice and took care of the one small issue that came up in a timely manner. We should not have asked for a better experience.

3 adult couples very much enjoyed staying here for a week. Nicely appointed, felt cozy and modern. Was nice to have a big kitchen table to sit around and play games and eat. Beds were very comfy. Showers clean and we'll stocked. My favorite part was having wine at night on the front porch or coffee in the morning. Fun to watch the neighbors stroll down the shaded street. Neighborhood feels safe, esp if you head right out the front gate. We walked to Union Market, a great indoor place with several food stalls/bars/grocers/shops. James the host is a great communicator, fixed the door keypad immediately for us, and recommended some great places to eat. There is no cable TV, but there is a Firestick and the WiFi works great, we watched movies and our MLB baseball. Private parking and the backyard were nice perks. Location is an easy short drive to get to the main DC attractions. All in all this was the second best VRBO we've been to in over 10yrs and LOTs of vrbo's. The first was a mansion overlooking Central Park in NYC and nothing will ever beat that :-). My only suggestion is that the master bath could use towel hooks. There's nowhere to hang towels. But that's about it for negative, everything else is wonderful. The sheets were soft and felt luxurious. James has done a wonderful job with this place and the attention to detail and quality made out vacation just that much nicer. Enjoy!

Very updated and clean property! We enjoyed the modern decor with the exposed brick. Fully stocked in terms of dishes, linens, and towels. Easy to get Uber everywhere we wanted to go-pretty much a 20 minute ride to all major attractions. Host was responsive and even stopped by to introduce himself. I would characterize the neighborhood as transitional-but no issues with safety. Overall a great stay!

Our family (kids, parents and grandparents) really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space for everyone, comfortable beds, lovely decor, and helpful host. It was a short drive to downtown and we appreciated the parking behind the house. Nearby, there’s a big playground for kids and Union Market had fantastic food and ambiance.

The house is clean and beautiful decoration. My friend over use the electricity then light it cut off but James(host) fixed it in just a second. Awesome Host !!

Perfect set up for a group. Easy location. Lots of space to spread out but also good space to gather and be together. Sleeps 6 adults very comfortably. Lovely neighbors. Responsive, helpful owner.

We visited DC with two families (five kids) so we had 9 people total. We really enjoyed our stay. Great location with easy commute to all the sites we wanted to see on our visit. The owner is great to work with and very fast to respond to any questions you may have about your stay. A couple of things that the owner can improve on. First, we would have benefitted from more bowls. We fed our kids breakfast before taking on our day. They all wanted cereal every morning. Only 5 or 6 bowls were provided so with 9 people staying in the house we didn't have enough bowls for everyone to have cereal. Not a big problem obviously but it did become an issue for our group. I think if you are advertising that your house can accommodate 9 people that you should provide enough bowls for that many people.Next, there is only one TV for the entire house. Looks like one more is going to be installed soon but it was on the ground leaning against a wall in one of the bedrooms. Some of our kids used the couch area to sleep where the only TV so this took away watching TV at night for the adults. I would suggest TVs in each bedroom or at least in both living areas.Again, this house was a great house and we really enjoyed our stay.

James has a nice place, all was as expected. Parking can be competitive but not surprising for a big city. We had six adults and it worked well for all.

My family, including my 12 year-old and 3 year-old, stayed at James' property for a 3-day vacation last month, and it was a perfect location for us. We had reserved off-street parking, which made trips to and from sight-seeing very smooth, and the open layout of the main floor of the house felt like home to us. In addition, there was ample room inside the house and outside (i.e., covered front porch, fenced backyard, and neighborhood playground one block away) for the kids to play when we returned from our day trips to the museums. We've stayed in several different locations in and around the city before, including Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria, and I have to say that staying at James' property definitely felt the most like having a "home away from home"!

Beautiful home!!!!! Very well decorated and spacious for 5 adult guests. In town for a wedding and this place’s proximity to the monument, Georgetown and downtown is ideal. A shirt Uber everywhere from this place. James was very accommodating and allowed us to chec in early. Will return!!
